I currently have 158,000 miles on my Traverse . I bought it six years ago . It has been through my two kids and their permit driving . To driving my kids to school everyday for five years . We love twenty miles from town . I have always kept the maintenance up on it . I plan on driving my traverse till it is done . Chevrolet really did their homework when they made the Traverse . It has satisfied my every need in a car . I love the power , the quite on the road . The gas mileage for the power you get out of it . The comport for traveling . The ease of handling. I really love the Traverse .

I bought a 2018 Traverse new. I still have it in 2025. I bought it because it was an inexpensive truck. I have to say that it really grew on me as I have owned it. It is very reliable. I had only 1 check engine light after 4 years and cheap to fix. It runs great! Its fast and has a super comfortable suspension and interior. The stereo has a really good sound. It holds a lot of cargo at Costco for me. I take beach trips (total 7) with my gf and 3 children and their friends and everybody fits! I also tow with it. My son has a 16 foot Boston Whaler that it pulls no problem. Strong at the boat ramp as well. This is a great versatile truck and I will probably buy another one after 10 years. I am very pleased 4 stars for this truck. Almost perfect. Improvements: I would like a better and bigger touch screen and real usb hook up in car.

For some reason all three of my Chevy Traverse have a problem with the left passenger windows front and back. I also have some type of problem with the rim on the tires.

Love my car, perfect for every day or traveling! The far back seat is a little small but is was larger than other models I tried. The only aggravating thing are the tire sensors, they come on quite often.

I had my car serviced by Jeff Schmitt and they took the time to solve a very lengthy and frustrating problem I have been having with my Bolt EUV that Voss Chevy (where it was purchased) refused to help me with and said it was either my fault by taking it to a charging station or that the electric at my house was faulty even though two electricians certified my electric was fine. Jeff Schmitt Chevy was able to fix the error "unable to charge" I would randomly get while charging at several homes and that has been a focus of car forums as well as getting the attention of GM Corporate as well. It turned out there was a problem with the electrical component which was exposed after purchasing it new at Voss Chevy. Just recently, it got worse where I had another issue where the engine was repeatedly rebooting when I tried to shut it off and it would not go in drive or reverse either. After getting the run-around I almost gave up until I took it to Jeff Schmitt instead and they went through detailed diagnostics and took the time to find the problem and correct it. Everything has been fixed, thanks to Jeff Schmitt Chevy. I am so thankful for Jeff Schmitt Chevrolet as they have renewed my faith in GM and I look forward in driving my Chevy Bolt EUV. I highly recommend Jeff Schmitt for their dedication, commitment to customer service and their loyalty to their customers.

This car meets all my needs and I Love it! Lots of room! Still learning some of the controls but will get it down. Smooth ride for sure.

We have only had it a few days , Initial impression is good . Very comfortable to ride in and this is only the LS version . Probably the only midsize SUV with a V6 that you can still get for $33000 . V6 runs well , can't speak to the mileage yet as it isnt even broken in yet but should get 27-28 mpg out on the highway with a 9 speed auto . As of right now it shifts well . Really like the two tone interior . Has soft touch vinyl . Probably a few. spots on doors where the vinyl is a little hard and looks a little cheap it does not bother me . Exterior wise I like the LED headlights which seem to work well enough . Also like the LED DRL's which turn amber when you put the signal lights on . also has LED taillights and reverse lamps . Interior had LED reading lamps and interior lamps . The auto stop/start has a button to turn it off . This was a must for me . A deal breaker if it did not have it . It is down next to the shifter . The seats on mine are cloth , very nice lighter tan and the cloth is very tough material which should not wear out . Very happy with them and they are reasonably comfortable . The second row will recline a little though not as much as the first row . The second row is a bench type seat as this the LS version which is the cheapest one . Even this version has Blind spot and lane departure warnings, accident avoidance system,Lane keep assist Rear cross traffic alert . These aren't something I really wanted and will actually probably turn them off as I don't need the car manuvering the car on it's own . As far as long term reliability only time will tell . Initailly I see no issues with the car and everything seems to work though I havent really gone thru all features yet , I hope to get 10 years and 150000 miles out of this without a lot of trouble . Don't let me down Chevy .

It's an excellent vehicle for larger families. I have six large adults that I haul around. Each and everyone has plenty of room to be comfortable. It seems to have more room than my Tahoe I traded in. It has good acceleration and handles well. I love the air-cooled and heated seats. It has a nice, solid ride. I am very happy with my Traverse. I traded in my 2021 GMC Acadia Denali, which I was very unhappy with.

I got to work with 3 different salesmen. Josh and I talked more on the phone in the beginning of the process to get things rolling with my trade in (he was great). Then when I got there Josh was busy so I had a different salesman (Chase) help me look around for what I wanted. Chase was the NICEST person I’ve ever had help me made a big decision. Jorge jumped in when I started talking about payments and he was funny and nice as well! All of the staff there is overall amazing. They didn’t push me to buy anything. I came back 5 days in a row because each day I wasn’t sure and they were okay with that! They didn’t push me to buy the more expensive car , they actually cared about what would be best fit for me and my situation. I ended up leaving with a nice truck ! I purchased the 2020 Traverse Premier Redline Edition brand new with only 50 miles and have no qualms about it. I did knock it down to four stars on performance due to its hesitation at yield signs when I accelerate after slowing down. If not at the perfect timing when in the yield, the vehicle will jerk or hesitate to go when I push the accelerator. Once the engine gets beyond that hesitation point, there is a decent amount of power in the acceleration. The hesitation is not a dealbreaker for me, however. Just annoying and can be dangerous if you are in a situation where you have minimal reaction time. Car and Driver said it best: "When parking or maneuvering at low speed, the Traverse feels every bit its size. Pick up the pace, however, and the big Chevy feels smaller than it is—poised, if not overtly athletic." If you're looking for a third-row seating option with second-row captain's chairs but are not the minivan type, much like myself, the Traverse is a great option. Rear cargo space is small, but if you think about it, you will lack impressive cargo space in a mid-size SUV if it has third-row seating. There's always the roof rack/cargo carrier option for storage. It's not bad, especially if a clutter-free interior on long road trips with the family is your forte. On the plus side, the lack of cargo space allows adults and teenagers to sit comfortably in the third row, and second-row passengers have an impressive amount of legroom. Other great interior options are the heated and cooled first and second-row seats. Backseat passengers can control their climate, from changing the temperature and fan speed to turning the entire system on or off, without changing the Driver's and front seat passenger's preferred climate. The Bose system is impressive. The clear audio quality, with the subwoofer under the front console, makes it sound like you're in a concert. If blasting the new age of music isn't your thing, that's cool. Classical music sounds just as impressive in this ride. Overall, I am pleased with this ride. I love getting in it every day. I receive a lot of compliments and looks. The sleek and sporty design of the Redline Edition with the black-on-white color is a head-turner! If you take care of your vehicles, they will last. The Traverse is no different. Never stretch out an oil change due date, and never turn down factory-recommended services. Avoid the quick lube places at all costs. No offense to them, many of them do great, but they work within parameters outside the scope of routine vehicle maintenance, such as tire rotations, factory-recommended inspections, and factory-recommended maintenance, depending on your vehicle mileage.

My 2018 Traverse is large enough that I (6'2") can get into and out of it with no problem. If I put the 2nd row of seats down, I can stretch out with room to spare. Averaged 29mpg on a 1400 mile trip in Sept. Has more power and better mpg than my 2012 did. If I get another car, it will once again be a Traverse if it is still available.
