Used Chevrolet Venture for sale near Salisbury, MD

I brought my F150 in for an oil change on 10/5/24 Jessica in the service department was awsome! She made sure our visit went as smooth as possible! She is very professional and curtious and knows her job well.

A great buy for our family of eight. The built-in car seat is a HUGE hit with my wife. More storage space in the back than our previous van. Would have liked double automatic sliding doors, but the non-auto one opens/closes easily. The van seems a little lighter (less crash safe) than the Ford Windstar we owned previously, but it makes up for that in gas mileage & performance. ABS system needs a little work as it makes noise when van hits bumps, but that doesn't dramatically affect braking. With over 110k miles, something is bound to need repair. Overall, we found a nice surprise in this 2005.

It is April 2024 and I'm so mad at Chevy for stopping in 2005 making this van. I have a 2004. I have 255,000 miles on it. It had 77,000 on it when I purchased it in Nov 2007. Normal maintenance and love and she still rolling. I've been looking at newer vans for the longer roadtrips and such and I really hate looking while I love the one I have so much!! This van has carried 2 youngsters to and from sports. Friends. Church activities. Family activities. Although I don't necessarily have to have a van again, it's what I want. It's what I'm comfortable with. I am NOT into the SUV and they ALL look alike these days. The Venture wasn't over the top fancy and we have dearly enjoyed it. Maintaining your venture is the key!!

I modified it to run on LPG. Fuel economy Is same, but the much lower price of LPG makes a major saving. Great decision without doubt

Good van that can haul people and object just like perfect. Can't ask for a more inexpensive vehicle

I have been around the block a few times due to my age. My experience began as I was in need of a good used vehicle with high MPG. There was nothing available in inventory but Mr Barnett had a 2017 Ford focus as a lease vehicle. It was offered to me for purchase. I bought the car with just a bit over 50 K miles. Drive train warranty was granted at no additional cost. An extended warranty was offered. I have never purchased such. Upon asking for a copy of the contract, I was impressed to find a one page contract that essentially said, you have a problem with your vehicle, bring it to me and we will fix it. Believing that the proof is in the pudding, I purchased the warranty. I should add here that I am a USMC veteran and have had experience with Mr Barnett in a veteran capacity and those experiences gave me confidence. Fast forward to today. My Ac died. I brought it in on Tuesday. Scott and his staff diagnosed, ordered a compressor and had it in, checked out and vehicle ready before noon Wednesday. This type of service in this industry is unheard of today. Everyone told me to prepare myself for the big shaft. The "shaft" I got was for Scott to drive the vehicle to me with a handshake thanking me for giving Barnett the opportunity to serve me. I am grateful and appreciate this outfit, they are second to none. You are a blessing to consumers and an honor to yourselves. Thank you, thank you, and God bless. Repeat customer for sure! I bougth the Venture used it has 48,000 miles on it. It now has 90,000 on it. I have replaced the Belt, AC hose, Motor mount, Door Sensor, Tires and the Battery. It passed smog with no problems. I like everything about it. I am thinking of getting another one while this one still has some value. Strong bulit - I was hit by a school bus and hardly had any damage. Able- I drove into some big mud on a super rainy day at this new housing site the van was bottomed out in mud and it did not get stuck even thou it was really bottoming out, I drove for at least 100 yards and it did not stop. Performance- A honda with a wing and loud exhuast raced me at a stop light and I beat it, not by much but enough that I was laughing my head off! Looks- the paint now 8 years old still looks really good and the interior still really good and this van was never garadged! I would buy this van again! too bad they stopped making it. I bought a new Mazda MPV and I still like the Chevy better. I think because of all the features. You would think a Japanese vehicle would have more but it doesn't. I have a newer Ford e 350 also, I like the Ford better for ride but it is Giant compared to the Venture. If you are thinking of getting a Used mini van you can't go wrong with Venture. I have owned probably 45 vehicles in my life and this Venture is probably my favorite. Good luck and hope this helps! Tony

Reliable car at a good value. We bought it used and it was in rough shape, not well taken care of but after cleaning it up it has served us well, they are a little difficult to work on under the hood but that is common for a mini-vans and it has rust issues underneath but again it was not well cared for by the previous owner.

I have had my 2003 Chevy Venture LS for over 2 years now here in May ,2022. I bought it on the internet in the USA while I was in Europe for $2,000 she now has 202,500 miles on her. She has been a fantastic used Van. There are several minor things you might need to look at.One was the brake lights heating up and burning out...easy fix...use LED bulbs...No heat..no burn out...Headlight housings are made of cheap plastic and so are all the replacement ones they will all cloud up and get dull..No need to try any sprays or whatever to protect new ones it won't work..try and clean up old ones is the best you can do...LED's work great there too might have to re aim them...front blinkers to should be changed to LED no heat low power draw..They will blink faster but no big deal don't mess with fixing that...have the oil changed every 3 thou and it should last you a long time. I am surprised how fast she can get going and I have her loaded up all the time...get's 20 mpg and better with a heavy load..Prices for these and all have gone crazy the world has gone crazy...if you can find a clean one that has been taken care of for under 3...4 thou and under 100 thou miles buy her....
