I have a 2020 1500 RST with the 5.3 engine and 8 speed transmission. My truck now has 67,000 miles. The acceleration is outstanding and smooth from gears 3-8. Probably could use more torque for gears 1-2, but not weak by any means. I have had no mechanical problems outside of the clunking rear suspension which was fixed by retorqueing the rear leaf spring suspension bolts. Other than that minor issue, it has been very reliable. I have heard these transmissions have had issues, but nothing that has caused issues for me. It has the 60-70 MPH shutter that is common to these transmissions, but I have learned how to drive to avoid the shutter, as I did with my 2011 1500. Overall pretty satisfied at this point. Comfort and amenities could be better for the front seats for the price, but I bought it knowing that. FYI my front brakes at this point are still 50%, and I have invested very little outside of a few fluid exchanges and routine maintenance. Excellent fuel mileage: 20 mpg with 50% highway vs city driving.

been buying dhevy trucks since 1976 was my 1st truck, now i got a 2022 silverado with a 6.2 last Feb. of 2023,kicked up the computer kicking out 454 horse power to the wheels, still waiting on my tow mirrors dont make the wiring harrness for my modle is the only problem im having with this truck, will never buy any other truck.

This is my 3rd Silverado and the best one yet. The infotainment features are great. The screen is big and easy to work. Looks great, rides smooth, quiet and is plenty powerful. (5.3 V8) Great every day driver for my family of 4.

Great truck awesome power Has the usual infotainment system issues that all makes have the sound goes out and radio system locks up shut it down for a few then works again The steering column upper cover came a part when I picked it up the dealer ordered the part but it’s been 3 months no called from the dealer ( Unity Chevy ) Newburgh ny No status updates very poor dealer Also no fog lights and none are available from the dealer or after market needs fog lights the normal headlights just aren’t enough lighting for night driving One other note the antenna paint is peeling and the dealer said I had to pay for that Lol truck had 230 miles on it the dealer was a joke so I will be going to another dealer for and warranty work

Paint on hood looks like it is separating from clearcoat. Takes a very long time to get hot air from heater. Had to replace steering gear.

This is my fourth Malibu, first one was a 2004 Maxx, second one was a 2017 Malibu LS, third one was a 2022 LS and now I have a 2024 RS, all four have been good cars with excellent fuel economy and space inside, maybe not as refined as some Japanese models but great cars regardless, give one a try....

I’ve been looking for a car for a year now because I’m so picky. Anytime I came close to buying one I was always treated poorly by a sales rep or could tell they were trying to take advantage of me. I drove 2 and a half hours to Butler Toyota and it’s the only good dealership experience I’ve had so far. Troy Stephens was great to work with. He didn’t take advantage of the fact I was a young female and gave me a great deal. A very trust worthy man, I recommend doing business with him.

Love the look and features, hate the 4 cylinder. Has no power. Very comfortable, smooth ride, handles nice, easy to park. Just don't try to pass unless you have plenty of room.

This vehicle has one drawback that I am aware of. The back up camera is very poor. The images are not crystal clear. It is like looking at a television screen from the 50s. I had a Blazer 2019 and my screen was great. I cannot understand why my 2023 vehicle has a poor screen. I have contacted General Motors and have gotten nowhere with them. I find this poor visual screen to be a safety issue. Had I known the back up camera and screen were so poor, I would’ve never bought the car as much as I like everything else about it. The visual on the screen is even worse at night.

I have had only 2 warranty issues. Both were immediately taken care of with no other issues on the truck. This has been the best vehicle I have owned out of 21 vehicles in my life. The comfort, power, features and dependability is why I gave it 5 Stars! I have roughly 59, 000 miles on it and I drive it every day. The gas mileage is 30MPG at 55 MPH!! I regularly get 23-25 on the highway at 65. Overall I get a real 16.5 in the city, and 24 on the Highway. My truck has been babied and kept clean at all times. No dogs, no kids, and I am happy with it.

I have done several long trips, 2 cross-country trips and in town commuting. It is a smooth comfortable ride, easy layout for gauges and controls, roomy, holds tons of cargo, and has great fuel economy (I have gotten up to 38 mpg on the highway going 70mph). All of these were listed in the "bad"- and this has not been my experience. Furthermore, my dad was side-swiped hit and run on the 210 freeway at 80 mph in his equinox and it took it like a champ. It is an easy smooth ride, I feel safe. I strongly recommend this vehicle- really the best bang for the buck- you get way more than you pay for.

We had the 2018 before this 2023 for 3years and it was amazing other than regular maintenance we put a battery in it that's it. Loved the car took us everywhere without fail very reliable. Has a mean punch with the 4-cylinder but it's the turbo Tranny makes it mean. It goes when you need to! Nice style looks classy and sporty. We got grey metallic paint it looks purple! We love this car too, a lot like our old one but new features for sure driving assistance features crash prevention, and new car deck bigger and better could use a lot more bass lol. But great sound without good bass. Malibu's are being discontinued so the wife and I will be looking at a impala next ride purchase as we fell hard for Chevy Period!

I began looking for my third Frontier right after the holiday season ended. Took me a while, but I finally found the exact truck I had been looking for at Butler Nissan. It was on a Sunday that I called to ask about the truck advertised on their website, but they were closed. Luckily, they had a very ambitious young woman on their sales staff that answered the phone when it rang. Her name is Shaquanna Stewart, and she goes by the nickname "Peaches". Peaches met me in the parking lot the next morning, and the game was on... Only this time it was different...very different. I am a very well qualified buyer with excellent credit, and I told Peaches as much. She and the Sales Manager started out with numbers that were totally unacceptable, but they listened as I told them how much I was willing to pay for a new '23 model that they needed to sell and I was ready to buy...right now. If they didn't want to sell me a new truck, I'd go down the road and find some other dealer who would. After only a couple minutes of scribbled numbers on a piece of paper, the deal was done. No hassle, no ridiculous back and forth haggling, no insults to my intelligence. They were friendly, courteous professionals dealing with a new client in a business transaction. I totally respect that and appreciate how I was treated. I highly recommend Butler Nissan to anyone in the market for a new car, suv, or truck. I bought a 2018 Traverse new. I still have it in 2025. I bought it because it was an inexpensive truck. I have to say that it really grew on me as I have owned it. It is very reliable. I had only 1 check engine light after 4 years and cheap to fix. It runs great! Its fast and has a super comfortable suspension and interior. The stereo has a really good sound. It holds a lot of cargo at Costco for me. I take beach trips (total 7) with my gf and 3 children and their friends and everybody fits! I also tow with it. My son has a 16 foot Boston Whaler that it pulls no problem. Strong at the boat ramp as well. This is a great versatile truck and I will probably buy another one after 10 years. I am very pleased 4 stars for this truck. Almost perfect. Improvements: I would like a better and bigger touch screen and real usb hook up in car.
