I got my '84 Corvette from the original owner, a deceased family member. The car only has 21k miles, but it hadn't been driven in several years before I took ownership. Having owned a C3 Corvette, I already had an appreciation for Corvettes in general. I initially didn't want the '84 because I had read many negative comments about the Crossfire fuel injection system. However, it was a good deal, and I wanted a new project. Today, I am happy to say that I love this car. Like any car that is 40 years old, you will need to replace/rebuild some things, like gaskets, vacuum hoses, throttle bodies, and whatnot. Overall, it was great to do some wrenching again, and with a few upgrades, this car runs very well and is reliable. I also realized that those who talk about the '84 year negatively never own one and just repeat the nonsense they've heard about the car.

I bought my 2007 Convertible Z51 3LT in October of 2024. It had 118,000 and now has just over 125,000 miles. This car was someone’s toy as it has a cold air Vararam intake and long tube headers, and has been very well cared for as well. It still looks and drives like new, not bad for an 18 year old car. My only knock on the car is the interior is a lot of plastic and kind of blah. The Center stack is right out of the GM parts bin, nothing special. Raising and lowering the top is as simple as releasing the center handle and pushing a button for up or down. Only the 3 LT does that little trick, the rest are manual. Performance wise, stock it was 5 HP shy of a C5 Z06, mine is making 505 at the wheels very similar to a C6 Z06. When you stomp that loud pedal you better be focused and right with Jesus. I kinda got in trouble when I bought it, my wife as not as excited as I was until we had our first date in the car, she forgave me and I bought her a convertible Mustang a month later.

Currently driving my 2003 Monte Carlo SS for a work car. Great suspension and power to go vroom vroom around people. Currently has 244k miles. Only issue with it is a sticky lifter that causes oil to be burned, but have zero leaks as far as exterior leaks go. 26mpg going 80-85mph. Beautiful car to look at too and very spacious and nice that the doors are wide almost open at a 90° angle which doesn't make me wish I was driving my Cruze instead. My 5yr old daughter loves the moon roof.

I love the little car for two couple exploring and reminiscing the old days. The air conditioner can get us ice cold in Arizona in the summer and snuggle up warm in winter. The Caddy engine is always reliable and the 700r4 4spd helps with mpg. I know the cars' little imperfections and its fun and attention getting thumbs ups. Safe and reliable.

Owned my Camaro for 10+ years and it’s only ever needed routine maintenance. It’s incredibly quick and handles highway speeds with ease. It gets great fuel efficiency for a muscle car, especially on the highway. Always sounds amazing and is overall a very fun car to drive!

On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. All in all it has been a great car and I have owned it since 11K, now almost 200K. Winter stored so no rust, I have driven it like a sports car and it has never let me down. 3 issues over 18 years. #1 was drivers side window motor (EZ replacement) #2. I've blown both front speakers, #3. One bearing let go in the rear end. It still has all the original bulbs even and only the second set of brakes, original clutch, exhaust still looks new underneath (about 8 sets of tires though). It is a pewter, 6 speed LS1 SS model Convertible and a rare sight. I've never seen one like it.

Our questions were answered and we set up a time to test drive. While we were there we noticed one spot that we asked about. With not hesitation Laura said they could get it into the body shop to be corrected either before we picked it up or they could schedule something later if we wanted to take it home sooner. I was working out of town for work so they ended up getting it into the body shop the next day. While I was out of town I was sent pictures of the body work and we picked it up that weekend! I had my 2004 for 10 years. Great car and performance. At 6'2" the C5 provides me with comfort which its predecessors do not. Only issues have been the ignition switch a common problem which I changed out fairly easily, and the climate control lighting which I fixed by resoldering the board.

I ordered my 85 in December of 1984 and I still have it - I love my 85! This is the 4th one I have owned.

My 91 has just over 100k miles and still performs great. I’ve owned multiple domestic sports/muscle/pony cars and this one is my favorite. The L98 is very strong and reliable, 6-speed manual is very smooth shifting and from a rolling start, I’ll put it against anything just for the fun of it. The interior is very user friendly with all controls within comfortable reach, minimal to none squeaks and rattles. The heat blows perfectly on your knees/thighs on a cold morning when set to floor, instead of just your feet getting too hot as with anything else. I’d drive this car anywhere and not worry about getting back home.

2024 Stingray Z51 Convertible. Great buying experience and no issues in 7 months and 5K miles. Great features and and runs great with better than expected fuel mileage. Just a couple Cons - Run flat summer tires are somewhat noisy and not offered with adaptive cruise.

I got my 2007 C-6, in Atomic Orange, in 2020. I found out about it from my sister’s youngest son’s girlfriend, who also was my oldest grandson’s pre-school teacher. Her mom was the executor of her cousin’s estate and had moved the car from her cousin’s home to her farm. Yes, it was actually sitting in a barn with a dead battery and covered in dust and pigeon droppings. The interior looked brand new. This was because after putting a new battery in, I saw that this 13 year old beast had only 6300 miles on it! The owner, who had passed away in 2018, had traded her 1992 C-4 in on the ‘07, drove it a few times and parked it because having double the HP scared her to drive it. Long story short, I saw it, drove it, fell in love with it and got it for a song! Took it home and immediately gave it a bath, using a foam cannon and microfiber mitt of course. Four years later, I’ve put another 7K miles on it and I have no plans of parting with it anytime soon! The only drawback is the interior, which is pretty much the cheapest looking interior styling that resembles an old Chevette. Chevy gave the C-7 a complete overhaul of the interior design in 2014. However, the outside looks great, the handling is superb and the 6.0 LS-2 has gobs of HP and torque. Awesome find after being retired for a couple years and living the dream!
