After a day of going dealership to dealership; we had the privilege to work with Brandon Reyes. When we came in that afternoon, we were not looking to buy anything new that day. Just wanted to compare prices and test drive. Brandon sat down with my husband and I and went though numbers, to give us a round figure of what a new vehicle would be. However, it was a Brandon?s performance, personality and customer service that we traded in our car and bought a brand new car that afternoon. I bought a 2007 Chevy Cobalt LT with 89000 miles roughly every light you can think of on the dashboard was lit up to the guy just want to get rid of it so he sells me for 500 bucks I bought it cause my niece also had the same make and the same year but her car only had 79,000 mi but she didn't think it was I don't know fast enough or what the color maybe cuz hers was yellow so I bought it off her for $1,000 cause she had the money for the car that she wanted and she really didn't care about how much she could get maximum for her car so she said $1,000 I said so plus you know all the closing fees and all that so what I did was did an engine swap I did I'd say about 40% of the engine swap and my niece's husband did the other 60% and swap and it worked out perfectly the 2.2 ecotec engine that's it Chevy made was a very easy swap and they easy to work on and everything like that anyhow I drove that car from 79000 MI at the age of 20 to roughly 256,000 MI I never had a serious engine transmission breakdown I had to get a new exhaust because I hit a rock and it punctured a hole in my old exhaust so I had to buy a new one but I changed the oil on it every 3,000 miles with synthetic high mileage Pennzoil every 3k miles cuz that's what the handbook said I should ever see something on I should change the engine oil in my car I definitely spent more money in engine oil and filters cuz I do my own oil changes on all my vehicles held I think a little less than 5 quarts every time I just had to buy a 5 quart borrow a pennzo and oil filter change a couple of times and find out that this oil phone is better than anything and all that so it wasn't always the same but I never had an ending problem transmission problem or anything the car ran perfect for the time I had it until the time I saw it to buy a 2012 Toyota Camry I bought it was the most reliable midsize car and it was in my price range I basically paid $1,500 for the Cobalt couldn't tell you how much for the exhaust repair the brakes calipers the bigger meeting you in the car but I got $2,500 for the car from a guy I was asking for $3,000 because it never had a problem I told him everything about it he said no problem how about 2500 I said you got à deal. We took the car to the thing to change ownership and all that other crap you know that cost a couple hundred dollars to do and that same day I went and picked up the Toyota Camry roughly 3 hours after I sold the Cobalt at 10:00 in the morning and I have not had any major issues with the Camry so far it has 179,000 MI no lights are on shifts good drives good can't complain just like I couldn't complain about the couple I still talk to the guy every now and again he still owns the car it has 393,000 MI I asked if he had any major issues except for you know normal stuff like changing the oil brake pads calipers stuff like that and he said nope he said it's been smooth never had a problem it's just right now I'm not driving it because I don't have a license cuz I ain't got a DUI in it but parade Chief and a compact car sure had a nice 393,000 MI no major breakdowns just your everyday upkeep I think I did pretty good for $1500 and I think he did pretty good for $2,500 I paid $7,500 for the camry and I just must be looking except I've had no music phones at either and I use it everyday for work and for if I need to go to the store or something like that but that's my story and that's why I give it a 5 out of five I've heard so many horror stories about to come off I think it's mainly because people don't keep the car correctly by you know changing the oil change in brake pads caliper struts all that stuff when they go to bed the reason my niece is cars agencies that was good she never changed the oil in it she drove it like 28,000 miles without ever changing oil in it and it seized up her engine that is but I had a good deal in the end.

I recently got a 2020 Equinox and there's a reason you see them everywhere. It's a great car that gets (somewhat) decent gas mileage. There's just a few issues I have with it. I've had to ride in the backseat of my Equinox a few times, whether I went out with friends and got slightly drunk or accidentally let my wallet go through the laundry. The point is… every time I have ever ridden in the backseat of the car, I always hit my head on the part where the roof meets the door. I'm 5' 10", which is an average male height, and yet, literally every single time I've ever been in the back seat of my car or in the back seat of an Uber ride that also drove a new-ish Chevy Equinox or similar car, I've hit my head on the headliner when the car turns. I also frequently use this car to transport my younger siblings who don't have a license or are in the process of getting one, and some of them have the same complaint. There's also not a lot of leg room in the back of the car, and again, I am about average male height. Two of my siblings are also around the same height as me. Also, this car is only five years old and the ABS light is already on. Now, this is not a huge deal, but my mom had an older GMC Acadia that she drove for about a decade before any warning lights appeared on her dashboard. Her car's ABS sensor never failed. Anyway, all in all, the newer Chevy Equinox is a really good car and I can see why it's the #1 choice for soccer moms.

I've been buying from Rydell for over 22 years. Not because they have the best prices, which they do. It's simply because I've NEVER been treated like a customer, I've ALWAYS been treated like family.

I bought my Equinox new off the lot in 2015 to be my winter driving car. I’ve had it for 10 years, and have driven it 60 miles round-trip in some of the worst winter weather in the lower 48 states. The Equinox held the road well on ice, in slush, and in deep snow on days that I was on the road before the snow plows. It has always been reliable and has never left me stranded. I’ve had no major issues in over 107,000 miles. I appreciate the cargo space which is much better than the newer models. I regularly recommend Equinoxes to my friends and family.

This is my first crossover. I've been a truck and SUV person for about 20 years. When my truck was stolen and totaled, I bought this car used with 84k miles on it. The first week I had it the water pump went out, I kid you not. Not good so far, huh? The good thing is the car told me " car overheating, idle engine." My mechanic says newer vehicles are made to warn you before overheating causes damage to the engine. Thank God. I like the car, I'm actually starting to love the car. Trunk space is minimal, seats arent the most comfortable, I miss having a center storage space, and a passenger armrest would have been nice. The radio is kind of small to be tinkering with while driving, and I wish Android auto was wireless with built-in wifi (newer models have this) but the steering wheel controls help me overlook this minor inconvenience. This car is the only car I looked at with all the options I wanted for this year and price: remote start, extra CLEAR backup camera, push start, power driver seat AND park assist which alot of cars are phasing out these days in favor of things manufacturers believe consumers find more desirable. The blind spot indicators and cross traffic warning is nice as well and the ac blows freezing cold. You really get lots of bang for your buck. Oh and I was surprised by how well it handles bumps in the road, my last vehicle made me seasick going over those big speed bumps, not this car, it's extra smooth. I can't buy large hauls at rummage sales or thrift stores anymore because there's not enough space to haul them home, but there's plenty of room for me and the grandkids. I really wasn't financially prepared to buy a car right now and couldn't afford to buy brand new. But TBH, I find this model year of this car prettier than the new ones and overall am really pleased with my purchase. I'm getting older and this will probably be the last car I'll ever own or drive and I'm glad it was this one. Thank you Chevrolet.

2018 2.0T AWD with 172k miles on it and it is going STRONG. Bought it used with 31k miles. Zero major issues but I've maintained it religiously, oil and transmission oil changed regularly. Spark plugs and coils had to be switched out at 130k miles but that's expected. Transmission is running strong and still sounds as great as the day I bought it.

Have a 1999 Astro van and has almost 300.000 miles on it and still drives great. Original Motor and Transmisión. Haven’t had any issues yet. I’m trying to make it last till 400.000 at least. I do take good care of it. I love it. Been pretty much all over the United States, Mexico and Canada. I highly recommend it.

Before my grandpa passed away in September 2023, he had it in his will to give me his 2012 Impala. I got his car as a Christmas present that year. Since then, I've enjoyed driving the old Impala. A car with 300 hp AND 30 mpg on the highway? Yes! Thanks, Grandpa, for your love of American cars! Thanks, Chevrolet, for making such a great car! I love how roomy my car is, how great the audio system is, and how relevant the Driver Information Center (DIC) is! I highly recommend this car to anyone.

The salesman was very helpful. They weren't pushy on the sales. Only issue is only one key fob came with the vehicle. Otherwise, painless experience.

This review is for a 2.0 turbo AWD Equinox Premier that I bought new six years ago and put 95,000 miles on. Sadly, this 252 HP engine was discontinued shortly after I bought it. Only maintenance in its life were infrequent car washes, twelve oil changes, twelve tire rotations, four new tires at 66,000 miles, rear brakes at 72,000 miles, air and cabin filters replaced twice. I’m still on my original battery and original front brakes. It should be noted that I only use 5W-30 Mobil 1 oil and I change the oil myself religiously as the car tells me to, and rotate tires the same week. For disposal, I pour the oil back into the same container that it was purchased in, so I can say without a doubt that the car has never burned (or leaked) a single shot glass of oil in its entire life. I have never reset the odometer since the car left the factory, so I can say that it has averaged 26.2 miles per gallon over its life, terrific given the power that it has, though I will say that almost all of its miles are highway. That also explains why my mileage on my tires and brakes are so good. And I should add a comment on the auto stop/start that so many in here don’t seem to like. I love it.

I've been driving this car for nearly two years, have added 38k miles on it so far, and am now pushing 95K everything's been great, I haven't had any reliability issues, and everything is running smoothly. However, the gas mileage is nowhere near their claims, granted to don't drive conservatively but I'm getting anywhere from 19-22 mpg. Great car overall, especially for the price.

I have owned 3 Chevy equinox and I like the way it looks and handles. It is a great family vehicle and very comfortable and safe. All 3 of my Equinox were the Premier class well worth the extra money and more features.

A little more than 2 years ago I bought a used 2017 Chevy Trax LT AWD, with a 1.4L engine. In addition, this vehicle was in a wreck which got hit on the rear end of the vehicle. However, the vehicle was fixed before purchasing it and I bought it with a fair price, with 49k original miles. Now the Trax has 97k miles and has had his fair amount of issues. Additionally, at 60k miles the turbo was leaking antifreeze and had to replace it with the valve that was attached to it. Also, I had some minor issues on the AC controller which h I had to have those replaced, and sooner or later I'm going to have to replace the blower motor since it's making a weird sound when it's on. This vehicle has treated me good since I've been keeping up with the regular oil changes (I usually buy Mobile 1 oil and filter, advance full synthetic) and I usually change also the air filter every 15k-30k miles. Also I've done 2 tune ups with new spark plugs and coils. To be honest if yiu do the regular maintenance you won't have any issues especially the engine and transmission. Furthermore, in a couple of days I'll be replacing the break pads, and also just FYI the 1.4L engine has a timing chain, so if you do the regular oil changes it will last forever. Soon I'll be replacing the gaskets and water pump since it's about to turn 100k mikes. All in all, I give it a 4.0-4.5 overall rating, space if very bad you can't fit regular size adults in the rear seats!

Bought this car new in 2012. Just quit driving it with 373400 miles. Only replaced the water pump. Transmission was never touched, fuel pump, alternator, heat, ac still work and original. Maybe I was extremely lucky but this car was awesome.

I have a gas ZR2 in blue, and it is my dream truck. The build quality is so good on these! The doors shut with a solid thud, the intuitiveness of the interior...it was the best truck available in 2022. I got mine before the '23 models and I am so very glad I did. I looked at all available mid-sized trucks, Jeeps, Tacos, Nissan, etc...none felt as solid as the ZR2. Almost two years now, and coming up on 25k. Oil changes and had the tires balanced, did all of the fluids at 5k. You have to allow for Chevy Quirkiness, and you'll love it. The A/C can be weird.

I’ve always owned Tahoe trucks. This is my 5th one. I owned an 01, 03, 04 and 06 before they changed the body style which I wasn’t fond of. The vehicle model is very attractive compared to other trucks I saw when I wanted to purchase something brand new. The Vortec 5.3 engine is still one of the most reliable engines ever made my opinion. I’ve never had issue with my previous trucks. My last Tahoe, I sold it with 301K miles on it. It was my work truck. Now, I’ve switched this truck from leisure to working. I recently had a major repair. One of the parking assist sensors went bad and cause a domino effect, shutting my computer down. Had to have it towed to a dealer. It’s still fairly new so, finding parts that are compatible outside the dealer for cheap isn’t going to go well. I ended up having to replace all my modules, harnesses for the modules since they had heavy water damage from years of exposure (the design doesn’t cover them). That was a $2800 repair. Not bad for having it 6 years 113000 miles driven. I do highly suggest getting the extended warranty on these newer vehicles and renewing the warranty again if you plan on keeping it long term after it’s paid off. As far as the engine, The correct oil makes a difference. Using the wrong type will effect your fuel efficiency and performance of the engine. Your mechanic may be best at figuring which is ideal for your truck in is current state. The truck does well on the highway for its size. I get about 24-26 highway average. The most I’ve gotten was 32.6 miles on the highway but that was mostly on a flat surface which the engine switches to V4 when it’s not under heavy demand. City driving is to be expected. 13-17 depending on idling at lights, traffic, stopping and starting. It’s a reliable truck if your not looking for fancy with a high price tag for an SUV. Can seat 7-8 ppl safely (I had ppl between 5’10 and 6’2 in the third row and the said it wasn’t a bad sit and was surprisingly more comfortable than they expected a 3rd row to be, handles well (your not gonna make corners at nascar speeds in this truck so expectations are within reason) and it’s acceleration is powerful enough to get you in and out of exits on the highway where the flow of traffic is doing 75mph+. I recommend this truck to anyone that wants reliability, safety for themselves and family and something attractive without the Kardashian price tag. If your hung up on brand name status recognition, spend the extra 40K-62K and get a Mercedes truck if that makes you feel better. If your not one of those ppl, Tahoes are great.

Great quad cab truck rides smooth extra quiet cab powerful diesel engine Duramax something Toyota does not offer. the truck is spacious designed well and seems well built.

My 2013 Tahoe LTZ w/ 143k miles is the best Chevy vehicle I’ve owned yet, for the last 20k miles I’ve owned it’s been very reliable, has never left me stranded. the only thing I do not care for is the afm to drop into 4 cyl mode, putting trans into manual 5 works like a charm to keep all 8 cylinders running up to 60mph. Working on these vehicles yourself is really easy for routine maintenance (except for the transmission), I’ve replaced a lot of stuff and fresh tune up on mine because she’s getting up there in mileage and I want to make sure she is going to be a top performer for the long run. Overall 9/10 recommend this Vehicle
