Review: Living With 3 Chevy Bolt EVs for past 6 years Owning three Chevy Bolt EVs has been one of the smartest financial and practical decisions we’ve made. Each year, we’re saving $6,000–$7,000 combined on fuel and maintenance compared to when we drove gasoline cars. We get about 250-300 miles of range depending on heat and AC use. We bought them used around $20k each, had batteries replaced in 2020 so 100,000 mile warranty, can't beat it! Charging at Home Is Simple, either use 110v and charge overnight or upgrade 220v dryer plug We picked up a Level 2 home charger for about $150 on Amazon. Installing and running it is as simple as hooking up clothes dryer. The charger just uses a standard 240V outlet, and the energy demand is nothing unusual for a typical household. Pulls same amount of power as microwave or toaster oven. Real Cost to Charge Let’s run the math: Electric rate: $0.10 per kWh Efficiency: ~4.5 miles per kWh Monthly driving: 2,000 miles each car That works out to: 2,000 miles at 4.5miles/kW at 10cents/kW= $44/month So for just $44 a month, each Bolt drives 2,000 miles. When we first walked into the dealership Sammy Nasr met us at the front door. It was obvious he was waiting on us as he had to cold, refreshing bottles of water for my wife and I. This is something I've never experienced before. Then as we dug into the purchase details, he walked us thru the process, explaining everything as we went along. Just bought my 2021 Chevy Trax in January, And nearly 2 months later I still love it. I don’t drive a lot, But I’m looking forward to taking it on a road trip. It has great power and just takes off. I get in and out easier then I did in my 2014 Ford Fusion. Roomy enough for me and love the features. Love the Color which is red. So cute I can’t stop admiring it. With under 35000 miles I hope it last for years to come. At my age this Trax will be my last vehicle.

2018 2.0T AWD with 172k miles on it and it is going STRONG. Bought it used with 31k miles. Zero major issues but I've maintained it religiously, oil and transmission oil changed regularly. Spark plugs and coils had to be switched out at 130k miles but that's expected. Transmission is running strong and still sounds as great as the day I bought it.

My dad and I went in to buy my Renegade from Anthony. Exceptional service all around. Such an easy, quick, pressure free process. I’ve had my 2019 trax 52k miles for almost 3 years, absolutely love the car no problems so far(knock on wood) only small minor inconvenience a ground wire got a little dusty and was cleaned. I have done the pcv fix as Chevy did not make it good for these engines in the long run. Not a lot of power for my liking so I modified some components. Not very friendly for tall people im 6’3 and have my seat set almost all the way back.

I knew what I was going on the lot for and was hoping for a fast, easy sale. Jess Thomas (my salesman) was incredibly cordial (both on the phone and in-person), met me at the door and was ready to go. He was thorough with everything, up front with the Carfax report, and answered any of my questions. He also had the patience of a saint when my phone was acting up while I was trying to get a picture of my previous vehicle's insurance brought up. The two gentlemen named David who assisted with the buying process and signing over of the vehicle I traded in were also excellent. They didn't try to throw on a bunch of costly bells and whistles like at other places, either. If you know what you're looking for, they absolutely are willing to work with you in whatever manner they can to get the best deal for you both.

I owned this car for 10 years (2013 purchased in 2012). Spent less than $3k in repairs over those 10 years. With regular oil changes and good tires reached 135k miles comfortably and quietly. Buying a new Equinox looking forward to another 10+ years

I purchased my Mazda CX-5 in 2019 before it was Luther's. I was not impressed with that aspect a lot of errors. But the service department has always been great. When I call to schedule an appointment for Maintenace, they always work with my time frame. Service department employees are friendly, and I know everything will be taken care of.

I've had one major issue with this car and it's concerning an air conditioning drain hose. I've had to have it drained and unclogged twice in 5 years. It has spilled water all over my floorboards and shorted out my radio and to me that is a design flaw in the car. I've never had any other car do that to me

Got 2008 uplander 8 years ago with 95,000 miles. Does struggle to change between 15 to 20 mph. I just have to pull out at a light slowly. It is at 171,500 miles. AC isn't blowing to back seats. But otherwise I really have no problems.

After 4 years and 32K miles its been extremely reliable (tire sensor replaced), not a single rattle, and contrary to some replorts the 1.5L is more than adequate (cruse all day @ 80 MPH.

My 2014 Equinox LTZ has over 200,000 miles on it. Been the most reliable vehicle I’ve ever owned including a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Will buy Equinox again.

I was driving by and saw a car that caught my eye. My problem was I had very little credit, having bought my previous used cars with cash. I picked both Matt and Jeff's brains as to how the whole process works, how certain things affect interest rates and odds of getting an auto loan. They spent a lot of time answering all my questions. As to the vehicle, I purchased a 2007 Acura TL Type S that was priced $2500 below NADA retail value (23% below value). I usually love the haggling process, but with a car priced almost a quarter below NADA retail value, I didn't even bother haggling. The price was MORE than fair and the car was in pristine condition. The buying process was EASY considering I'm self-employed and my taxes don't quite show all of my income, if you know what I mean. So it was a challenge for Matt to get me approved. He worked on it for an entire day, calling me to ask me for bank statements, tax returns, etc. He went to bat for me and was able to get me approved with a local credit union instead of some high interest, high risk lender. The interest rate he was able to get me was also pretty fair. Of course it's not 1.99%, but it wasn't 24% either. In fact, it was a lot closer to 1.99% than it was 24%. This was my first time dealing with them. In fact, I had never even heard of them. It was merely by chance that I was driving by and saw the car I wanted on their lot. But I would recommend them to anyone. They were personable, they were honest with me about my situation, but most of all I felt like they really cared and they really went to bat for me. Never did I feel like they were "sleazy used car salespeople" like I've felt at other lots. It felt like I was working with a friend or a neighbor.

I rented a Malibu on vacation and knew a car like that would be my next car. I looked at different places and I found what I wanted at Stadium an thanks to Mark he made it possible for me to buy it.

I rented a Trax while out of state and loved it.I used it for 4 days and 1,200 miles later I decided once home I was going to purchase one. Two days ofter I was home I purchased one and headed out of town during a Michigan winter storm. Thankfully I purchased the all wheel drive offered as an option this little car was dragging its under side while going through 7 inches of snow. It’s a peppy little car but I still get 38mpg on the highway and 29 mph around town. The drivers seat is pretty comfortable- it’s rear mirrors are in a good location- it AC and heater work great - I have yet to have any issues with 11,000 miles on it . I use it driving about 450 miles per day I can choose any vehicle I want but than the cost per mile goes up I have had larger more expensive cars in the past but I finally found a good little car I can travel in for my job. The better mileage and cost of gas my company pays for so now I am receiving 70 % more to put in my pocket with the money I am saving. And driving that many miles each day on average says a lot for the Chevy Trax.

I really liked my LTZ. I will admit that I had some issues, but I took care of it. The only mistake I made was not putting a Remanufactured engine in it after it had a head gasket repair. I drove it hard. Even with the issues I had. I would buy it again. I would get an Endurance Extended warranty. I had no issues with the transmission. I did have two window motors go out though. I had 188K miles on it. The reason I go rid of it was. I had an oil smell in it even after I had it repaired and the mechanic could not find it.

Great deals, cars are priced way below competition, small town feel, cars that we came to see were depicted correct and explained properly without a high pressure (sales) kind of way.

This vehicle has one drawback that I am aware of. The back up camera is very poor. The images are not crystal clear. It is like looking at a television screen from the 50s. I had a Blazer 2019 and my screen was great. I cannot understand why my 2023 vehicle has a poor screen. I have contacted General Motors and have gotten nowhere with them. I find this poor visual screen to be a safety issue. Had I known the back up camera and screen were so poor, I would’ve never bought the car as much as I like everything else about it. The visual on the screen is even worse at night.

it is just what i need for the traveling i do. I only need it for short trips to work. The gas mileage is great and I have had no problem. with it.

I called and talked with Steve. Ten days later I went and checked out the car in question. It looks like I will be "pulling the trigger" and buy. He was extremely knowledgeable and kind. A true pleasure to deal with him. A "gentleman and a scholar"! I'll be back.

I want to start up by saying, I am not a "car person". I do know, is a 5'2 female, this car feels like it was made for me. It gets amazing gas mileage, and you can park in a sidewalk square if needed. Yes, it does not have a lot of bells and whistles to it at all, but it does have the Android auto / Apple Auto feature which I love, at the same time as having roll up Windows. It is perfect for in town and highway driving. I drove it all the way to Georgia from Illinois with no problem. And my 6'5 son fits comfortably in the passenger seat as well, as well as plenty of room in the backseat and trunk for groceries or luggage.

My 2019 Trax LT hasn't had any problems. (knock wood) The stereo system is great, if the headrest would tilt back it'd be a 5 star on comfort. As is, long trips are comfortable. The turbo hesitates if I haven't kicked it in before it's needed. Blow the cobwebs out so to speak. Overall, I love my lil' blue Trax LT.
