I bought my 2007 Convertible Z51 3LT in October of 2024. It had 118,000 and now has just over 125,000 miles. This car was someone’s toy as it has a cold air Vararam intake and long tube headers, and has been very well cared for as well. It still looks and drives like new, not bad for an 18 year old car. My only knock on the car is the interior is a lot of plastic and kind of blah. The Center stack is right out of the GM parts bin, nothing special. Raising and lowering the top is as simple as releasing the center handle and pushing a button for up or down. Only the 3 LT does that little trick, the rest are manual. Performance wise, stock it was 5 HP shy of a C5 Z06, mine is making 505 at the wheels very similar to a C6 Z06. When you stomp that loud pedal you better be focused and right with Jesus. I kinda got in trouble when I bought it, my wife as not as excited as I was until we had our first date in the car, she forgave me and I bought her a convertible Mustang a month later.

This Dealership gets high marks in every category of customer service. With RMS Motors, details matter, and they proved that to me over the 30 day period it took to make my final decision. Other dealers I had inquiries with were "one and done". Not RMS. They were consistent with their communications over that period. The end result, I got the car I had been looking for. I purchased a torch red 92 in October 2023 with 36,000 miles on it and have changed the tires, battery, plugs, wires, air filter, 02 sensor on driver side and it runs and drives like a dream while getting plenty of compliments. I did own a 94 12 years back but it was not as much fun as this one has been. Nothing more fun than cruising with the top down and the tunes up! If you own one with the Opti-spark, check the recall list on GM, you may be due for the updated version at GMs expense. I have replaced one on my 94 and they are a pain in the aXX to replace.

Very clean dealership which to me goes a long way. Jordan, the lead mechanic was very knowledgeable and polite. I dealt with Steve and he was a man of his word. He took care of an issue and I was very pleased with the result. I would definitely recommend RMS dealership.

This car is definitely and upgrade from my C7! The shifting, the handling and overall driving experience is amazing for the money! So fun to drive every time I get behind the wheel!

If I can give an award for a five star five gold diamond dealership, I would definitely give it to Steve the co-owner at RMS motors. The showroom is absolutely spotless. Never felt any pressure to buy, but within five minutes of driving our 2004 BMW 650 I convertible, Steve and I my wife struck a deal that made him smile and made me smile even bigger. I highly recommend RMS motors for honesty and their great work they do on these cars. I recently bought a 2001 C5 base automatic with 59,000 miles on it. I absolutely love this car. I’ve been using it as my daily and have put about 2,000 miles on it in about 5 months and it’s been nothing but great. Mine does have the Z51 package so it’s a little stiff and bumpy but with a sports car that what you expect. The only problems I’ve had are sometimes one of the pop up lights doesn’t go up but the good thing is there’s a hand crank for when that happens so you can put them up and the radio in mine had an issue where the lights on it would stay on and drain the battery but it is a 23 year old car so a few small electrical issues don’t surprise me. Besides that it’s been a great car so far and for anyone looking for a good, reliable, great looking sports car I don’t think there’s a better one out there especially for the money, it’s also plenty fast, I’ve recorded a 4.4 second 0-60 in mine on a non prepped road and all the mods mine has is a straight pipe muffler delete with no tips and pipes and a cold air intake so it’s pretty much stock. Overall I absolutely love this car and I hope to keep it for a long time (or until I get a C7 corvette) but I’d definitely recommend it if you can find a decent one for the money!

I had my 2004 for 10 years. Great car and performance. At 6'2" the C5 provides me with comfort which its predecessors do not. Only issues have been the ignition switch a common problem which I changed out fairly easily, and the climate control lighting which I fixed by resoldering the board.
