As a kid, my grandmother had a gold Malibu LS with every option in the book. I, unfortunately, wasn’t able to get said Malibu, as it kicked the bucket when I was younger, so I bought my own for the low cost of 900$. Never once has it failed me. She’s unfortunately quite rusty and has needed wheel bearings, tie rods, ball joints and the works, but she always turns over and gets me where I need to go, comfortably and safety. The old pushrod 3100 isn’t anything bragworthy, but it’ll get you the xxxx out of there when and if you need it to. I highly recommend this generation of Malibu for a first car, or cheap reliable transportation. But maintenance is an absolute must on these cars do you wish to keep them going.

When the Volt first came out I would give it 5 stars for everything, now new cars coming out so I took some off but still mostly 5 stars. It is still a great value. No car is perfect but this has allowed me to avoid a lot of maintenance and repairs of regular gas cars.

I purchased a used car from this dealership. I was searching for a 4x4 SUV and found a 2008 BMW X5 here. The car was in great condition for its age. Note - their cars seemed to all be a lot cleaner and better looking than other places I looked. I was two hours away so I contacted them by phone, very pleasant and well spoken and asked for an honest description of the vehicle since we all know pictures can be photoshopped. I spoke to a gentleman who answered all my questions and even told me about the imperfections he found that weren't easy to see in the pics. I was impressed so I came to see the BMW myself and I was shocked! It was exactly as was described (when does that happen with used car salesmen?). The paperwork was simple and the facility was car themed, nice touch! The reviews about the people being very friendly and genuine is true, all around impressed and happy with the whole transaction. I have had my SUV for about three months now and I still couldn't be happier. Well worth the trip and feel confident working with them again. Highly recommend!

I have owned the car for about 15 months. It is a good car. There is an issue with burning a little oil. This is a known issue. I almost traded it in when I realized the oil consumption issue, but I stuck with it. I add almost a quote every two gas fill ups. I purchased it with 62,000 miles. I am a salesman and I put nearly 30,000 miles on it in the past 15 mos. Mostly highway. I had to repack the bearings in the rear wheels. This set me back about $1,200. Not good. Other than that, the car has been fine. I plan on driving it another year.

I am on my 2nd Trail Blazer. 1st was a 2006, now. Loaded 2009 with a cream pearl air factory paint. Also had a 2002 sister Envoy loaded. My only contest fuel and brake lines corroded and had to be replaced. But it came from the north east coast. I wish I could get the same thing newer in the XL long wheelbase and V8. I’d buy one if it existed.

The salesman was very nice and helpful on the information of the different cars that I was interested in. It took very little time to pick the car I wanted, and I got through all the paperwork quickly and had the sale completed in less than 2 hours.

I owned a 2007 Cobalt LT for 6 years as a daily driver. It was by far one of the best and most reliable cars i've had. never once had a problem with the drive train. The biggest issue I had was having to replace ball joints frequently. parts are very cheap and readily available just about anywhere. It always got 30 mpg on the highway and kept up with traffic well.

Before I came to Roseville Toyota, I knew exactly which car I wanted: a 2022 Prius Prime LE in Blue Magnetism, and I was not willing to compromise on the color. I bought a 2007 Chevy Cobalt LT with 89000 miles roughly every light you can think of on the dashboard was lit up to the guy just want to get rid of it so he sells me for 500 bucks I bought it cause my niece also had the same make and the same year but her car only had 79,000 mi but she didn't think it was I don't know fast enough or what the color maybe cuz hers was yellow so I bought it off her for $1,000 cause she had the money for the car that she wanted and she really didn't care about how much she could get maximum for her car so she said $1,000 I said so plus you know all the closing fees and all that so what I did was did an engine swap I did I'd say about 40% of the engine swap and my niece's husband did the other 60% and swap and it worked out perfectly the 2.2 ecotec engine that's it Chevy made was a very easy swap and they easy to work on and everything like that anyhow I drove that car from 79000 MI at the age of 20 to roughly 256,000 MI I never had a serious engine transmission breakdown I had to get a new exhaust because I hit a rock and it punctured a hole in my old exhaust so I had to buy a new one but I changed the oil on it every 3,000 miles with synthetic high mileage Pennzoil every 3k miles cuz that's what the handbook said I should ever see something on I should change the engine oil in my car I definitely spent more money in engine oil and filters cuz I do my own oil changes on all my vehicles held I think a little less than 5 quarts every time I just had to buy a 5 quart borrow a pennzo and oil filter change a couple of times and find out that this oil phone is better than anything and all that so it wasn't always the same but I never had an ending problem transmission problem or anything the car ran perfect for the time I had it until the time I saw it to buy a 2012 Toyota Camry I bought it was the most reliable midsize car and it was in my price range I basically paid $1,500 for the Cobalt couldn't tell you how much for the exhaust repair the brakes calipers the bigger meeting you in the car but I got $2,500 for the car from a guy I was asking for $3,000 because it never had a problem I told him everything about it he said no problem how about 2500 I said you got à deal. We took the car to the thing to change ownership and all that other crap you know that cost a couple hundred dollars to do and that same day I went and picked up the Toyota Camry roughly 3 hours after I sold the Cobalt at 10:00 in the morning and I have not had any major issues with the Camry so far it has 179,000 MI no lights are on shifts good drives good can't complain just like I couldn't complain about the couple I still talk to the guy every now and again he still owns the car it has 393,000 MI I asked if he had any major issues except for you know normal stuff like changing the oil brake pads calipers stuff like that and he said nope he said it's been smooth never had a problem it's just right now I'm not driving it because I don't have a license cuz I ain't got a DUI in it but parade Chief and a compact car sure had a nice 393,000 MI no major breakdowns just your everyday upkeep I think I did pretty good for $1500 and I think he did pretty good for $2,500 I paid $7,500 for the camry and I just must be looking except I've had no music phones at either and I use it everyday for work and for if I need to go to the store or something like that but that's my story and that's why I give it a 5 out of five I've heard so many horror stories about to come off I think it's mainly because people don't keep the car correctly by you know changing the oil change in brake pads caliper struts all that stuff when they go to bed the reason my niece is cars agencies that was good she never changed the oil in it she drove it like 28,000 miles without ever changing oil in it and it seized up her engine that is but I had a good deal in the end.

Purchased a 2015 with 23,000 miles for under $9000. The car is brand new. The battery warranty is 8 years and 100,000 miles. Super cheap to run. But nobody talks about what a hoot it is to drive. It's probably not politically correct but this little car is a blast to drive. The stiffer suspension and quick steering make it feel like a gocart, only this gocart has 327 ftlbs of torque. Everyone that's taken a ride wants one. The only let down are the tires.

Got 2008 uplander 8 years ago with 95,000 miles. Does struggle to change between 15 to 20 mph. I just have to pull out at a light slowly. It is at 171,500 miles. AC isn't blowing to back seats. But otherwise I really have no problems.

What a pleasant Surprise! I looked at several cars on this lot and was pleased to see how well they were set up. Clean and mechanically sound (I didn't see the usual oil leak stains, etc). The salesman took his time and helped me find a vehicle that fit my needs. In the office you can see these people love cars, and want to make the experience easy and straightforward. A nice family runs this lot. I am very happy with the car and the time spent there. Give them a try, you will like it.

I love how big and comfy my impala is, it has a bench seat up front and can seat 6. It has excellent power and is trustworthy on long road trips! The car has been very reliable and has only needed minor repairs. It is getting older though…every so often it will make a funny noise and when it gets tired it needs a little extra coaxing to start and stay running. I plan on keeping it until it quits on me.

Chevy Silverado 2004 with 4 MI four-wheel drive now at 684,000 mi my transmission what my motor still runs like brand new change my oil every 2500,000 my truck has seen the world doing dish Network and DirecTV it hasn't been a great truck I replaced my transmission and now I have $984,000 in my transmission went again after being rebuilt otherwise yeah I recommend the Chevy Silverado any day everywhere and never failed me never left me nowhere never been told until my transmission went out the main things that go wrong with it alternator breaks water pump that's been it but never left me on the side of the road thank you Shelby for making the best truck ever

from what I'm seeing other people report, the 1.4 turbo is the problem. I have the LS 1.8 and yes I have replaced the water pump but it was not driven hot so it did not damage the head gasket or block. it has 180,000 miles on it and runs like a new one. the comfort and handling makes up for the lack of power although it has enough. it's not a Camaro or a Corvette but it's a xxxx good Car.

Never made it to Hayes. Was in Sacramento and bought a car that day but before making it to Roseville. The car at Hayes is an LX and I really wanted an EX. The person I talked to there was very helpful.

Found our car at a local Toyota dealership. Great service. Was looking for Low mileage and a newer car. Great gas mileage also. Paid car off, but didn't get any deal for doing that was hoping to get free oil changes like my son did.

This is a fuel efficient and modest car. It achieves 98hp has a 9 gallon tank and an automatic transmission. The LS has crank windows and old fashioned key-lock doors. You can haul a reasonable load in the back seat and hatch or even three other people, though it might be somewhat cramped. It appears to be designed for urban commuters, but I've driven it some decent distances and in all seasons now and it seems to up the challenge of all weather and (paved) terrains. The onboard technology (radio, backup camera, and internet connectivity--with Apple Play and Android Auto) is surprisingly good. Its small size makes it fit easily into small spaces. It was discontinued in 2022, so there should be parts for awhile and prices are coming down. If you need a second car, give this one some consideration.

I bought my Equinox new off the lot in 2015 to be my winter driving car. I’ve had it for 10 years, and have driven it 60 miles round-trip in some of the worst winter weather in the lower 48 states. The Equinox held the road well on ice, in slush, and in deep snow on days that I was on the road before the snow plows. It has always been reliable and has never left me stranded. I’ve had no major issues in over 107,000 miles. I appreciate the cargo space which is much better than the newer models. I regularly recommend Equinoxes to my friends and family.

Left the Bay Area to find a good deal in Roseville and found a great one on a 2016 Honda Civic! From 12-5, I spent so much time talking to these sincerely nice guys, Murray, Ronnie, Miguel, the guy at the mid-range and affordable lot, and the finance guy. You can just tell there’s a business here that is run well where everyone respects each other and then treats the customer with kindness and respect. My father bought the first 4x4 our Chevy dealer ever sold, a ‘68 model delivered in the fall of 1967. He traded after that about every 4 years and my 2000 Silverado 1500 LS 4x4 5.3L is the last one he purchased before his passing. It had 45k miles on it when my mom passed away and I inherited it. It now has nearly 68k miles on in and I invested $12k in it to replace the inner and outer rockers, cab corners, rear cab mounts, replaced the box with a California takeoff, had the frame pressure washed and painted, the body repainted, and replaced the transfer case with a rebuilt NP 246 transfer case that had the “pump rub issue” corrected . The ‘68 model that had NO power steering or brakes, it had a manual shift transfer case, 3 speed manual transmission and its only options were an anemic 307 V8, lockout hubs, radio, custom cab, and wood pickup box floor. It drove and rode like a WW ll deuce and a half. It makes this 2000 Silverado look like a luxury limousine by comparison in ride quality, ease of handling, performance, driveability the convenience of the NP 246 electrically shifted transfer case (2 wheel HI, 4 wheel HI, 4wheel LO, and AWD), quiet cab sound level, and twice the fuel mileage with that coming along with twice the power. I put the money into this truck not only for sentimental reasons but also because I love the looks and styling of this truck and couldn’t find anything that I could replace it with for anything near the $12k that I put into it. The 4x4’s were TRUCKS back when dad first began looking in ‘66 and few dealers even stocked them except for a smattering in large cities. Those they had were 3/4 and 1 ton trucks that had a huge stack of springs and that you needed a small stepladder to get into. Dealers ordered them for “plow trucks” for snow plowing or for off road use by utility companies. Even hardly any farmers had 4x4’s back then in our area (north central Wisconsin). Power steering was rare and automatic transmission were even more rare if they were even available at all. The 4x4’s of today are largely bought by people who’ll never use the 4 wheel drive and seldom, if ever, haul anything. The last truck my dad bought has everything that I want and far more than I actually need. It still remotely resembles what I think of when I say “pickup truck”. It continually reminds me of my dad and especially of my mom who had to give up her ‘63 Buick LeSabre (w/automatic, PS, PB, and AC) for a brutish handling, manual everything pickup TRUCK which only had “4/60 air conditioning” and that she had to drive everyday to the school where she taught.
