I have a 2020 1500 RST with the 5.3 engine and 8 speed transmission. My truck now has 67,000 miles. The acceleration is outstanding and smooth from gears 3-8. Probably could use more torque for gears 1-2, but not weak by any means. I have had no mechanical problems outside of the clunking rear suspension which was fixed by retorqueing the rear leaf spring suspension bolts. Other than that minor issue, it has been very reliable. I have heard these transmissions have had issues, but nothing that has caused issues for me. It has the 60-70 MPH shutter that is common to these transmissions, but I have learned how to drive to avoid the shutter, as I did with my 2011 1500. Overall pretty satisfied at this point. Comfort and amenities could be better for the front seats for the price, but I bought it knowing that. FYI my front brakes at this point are still 50%, and I have invested very little outside of a few fluid exchanges and routine maintenance. Excellent fuel mileage: 20 mpg with 50% highway vs city driving.

The fact that they only sell these small Trucks clearly makes them better at buying them which results in a better Truck to buy, they have been there like 20 years so they will always be there when you need them, My family has bought 2 Rangers and a Colorado over the past few years and they stand behind what they sell! Bought used. Did some research on it found out problems with AFM. I installed a tuner and did AFM delete and got rid of the top speed limiter, also set other perimeters to high performance, cold air intake, got rid of vacuum pump for braking and went to intake vacuum for booster did tranny thermostat bypass. also changed intake from 5.3 to 6.2 and changed throttle body. Installed catch can for oil blow by. Installed a throttle control booster, change oil every 3000 miles has 125056 miles got rid of all3 cats and has headers and dual straight pipes. sounds great. hptuners got check engine light off. I have street raced this against Camaros mustangs ect and tear them up. tranny has no issues nor do valves. Have buried the Speedo several times max speed was 152mph going by speedo on tuner display. In a truck ride was smooth handles great. I dog the xxxx out of it and it just takes it. I invite others to race. tag says RUN YOU.

I was given this truck in a will. Not only did it sir for 2 years straight, but it still cranked and ran like it was brand new. I would recommend buying this truck.

In 2010 We bought a 2008 silverado. LT 5.3 engine. Two wheel drive. I still drive it everyday. Regular oil changes. This truck had 26k on it. Today it has 156k. Battries. Breaks, plugs and wires. Thats it. -50 below outside, starts right up! Awesome! Proud owner.

Overall I love This. Chevy truck. Aside from the minor issues that Chevy should have taken care of long ago Such as Intermittent transmission failureThat cost me $3100 at 60000 miles. And the power train output that could have been much more which I enhance using a super chip program that Actually woke this engine up the 5.3 by the way. And they should have long eliminated the active fuel management. But after all these issues I love the Chevy truck come on Jim get it together stop producing better track 2 better trucks less recalls don't make me jump Ship !

I found this dealer to be extremely fair when I purchased a 2009 Toyota Rav 4, the price i paid was below market value and they threw in 4 brand new tires after I had purchased the vehicle. This car is probably my favorite car I?ve ever owned. It has so much instant torque it?s pulls at the skin on your face. Every day as I drive to work I?m just more and more happy with it. It?s sporty enough to have fun and throw into a corner, but economically I have spend a total of $15 on electricity for it in the 9 months since I bought it. Yes, the rated range of 82 miles won?t get you far, but I don?t go that far everyday, and seeing as I drive in the city to work and back home, I often times will see my range at 100-110 miles, and I barely have to try to reach that. The complaints I have all have to do with Chevrolet, it?s information/entertainment screen is god awful, and makes me dream of better U.I. Design, and the headlights are a bit big-eyed. But aside from that, I am happy with my purchase, and as long as the range could be managed for you, I?m sure it can work for you too. Also, keep it out of super cold climates, because that heater just sucks the batter away.

It's a shame more people were not familiar with this car before Chevrolet stopped producing them. I drive on EV mode almost all the time, except when going on long trips. There is no range anxiety with the Volt. My car is averaging 181,000 MPG lifetime.

This is my fourth Malibu, first one was a 2004 Maxx, second one was a 2017 Malibu LS, third one was a 2022 LS and now I have a 2024 RS, all four have been good cars with excellent fuel economy and space inside, maybe not as refined as some Japanese models but great cars regardless, give one a try....

I love the Bolt in general. I just bought my 4th one. It is by far the best value in EV's with the best range. The Premier is a really cool trim...I just bought the 2022 EUV Premier again the other night...it has birds eye view camera...panoramic roof...blind spot detector..lane assist...nav....the thermal battery management system keeps that battery healthy. Range is consistent around 250 miles based on driving habits. The Bolt in any trim/body style is by far the best value in the EV market.

The Malibu is a fine car. The 1.5T engine is adequate but not much more than that. It also is unrefined and groans and grumbles. You can get around town relatively well and merge onto the highway but may want to leave space for passing trucks on two lane roads. The trunk is massive and is great for trips. Fuel economy is also stellar. We typically get 500 miles on a tank on road trips. The interior is quiet for the price of the vehicle. The materials on the other hand are sub par. Cheap plastics and cloth. To be fair it is a car that had a sticker of 28k. We have put just under 7,000 miles on the car and have had no reliability concerns. The sound system however is one of the worst I have heard. The sound really only comes out of the tweeters and the system is criminally underpowered. The rear leg room is fantastic and the overall ride and handling are good. The handling is the main redeeming quality of the way the car drives. I haven't pushed it hard but under quicker than normal steering on back roads it does compose itself with not too much body roll. The steering is tight and responsive. Overall I think this is a good car for someone not concerned about all of the newest bells and whistles and wants a sedan they can get a great deal on at the dealership. I have confidence that this will not have any major issues until around 130k miles.

On April 30th, 2021 I had an appointment at Prime Toyota for a humming sound I heard when I turn the steering wheel. At 6 am. I parked my car and left the keys in the dropoff box. Came back and pickup the car not checking the entire car. As soon as I got home with the car I noticed the right passenger side had dents and scratches. I called Prime and the call went to voice mail. My mistake one i never check the car before leaving the dealership and second when I call back I was very frustrated and didn't leave a message. I called the next morning and spoke with Lacey DaRose who told me to bring the car in. I drove all the way to Prime Toyota West Roxbury. Lacey went and spoke with the Fixed Ops Director Malinda Burgos who spoke to me like was stupid telling me she's not arguing. She then told me she would fix the car and gave me a rental within a week, I told her to put it in writing and she wrote on one of her business cards and gave it to me.Here's my intake on all this, You never inconvenience a customer. She should have taken the car the same day to have it fixed and gave me a car . She told me to give her a week to call and let me know when a rental will be available . A week for me is a liftime especially the incident happen right there at the dealership. I gave her 3 business days. I called on the third business day and left her a messages she never called back. I was very upset the forth day and drove up to Prime Toyota, and met Alwin customer relations at the new Parkway Toyota and he made my day. I told him what had happened and he took care of the problem right away. He took my car and have it sent to the body shop and gave me a rental. Also Jason DaSilver both gentlemen were awesome and I honestly had no intention of going back to this dealership until I met these professional men. I just want to say thank you to Alwin from customer Relations and Jason Dasilver for such great customer service and your my only reason for going back to this dealership. Your both truly remarkable.Thanks so much!

Like all the other reviews I've read, a great car, fun to drive, comfy, quiet, peppy, good range. (All these based on price class, of course you can spend twice as much to get comfier, quieter, peppier, batter range.) A couple of points: hold out for the Premier trim level-- the view astern with the conventional rear view mirror is marginal at best, for safety on the highway and ease of parking you'll want the rear view camera display in the mirror and the other camera that help parking which come with the Premier level. A little scare with the charger that came with it- glitched out on me, and unplugging it and plugging it in again didn't fix. Took it to the dealership and it worked fine. Looking on the web later, it turns out that if the charger gets hung, you have to leave it unplugged for a few minutes for it to reset, which is probably what the trip to the dealership did. Only happened once, fine since then. Nitpicky- the charger is supposed to be mounted upright, cord down, for rain protection, but the 240 volt cord is too short to do that unless the 240 volt outlet is mounted upside down so the outlet itself catches rain. If you plan to mount your charger outside, plan on doing under some kind of overhang to protect from rain. Wheels can spin out with the great acceleration and two wheel drive, especially in rain. I've gotten used to the AWD of my Subaru Forester, so a bit of a shift. But Bolt is a xxxx sight quieter and a bit more comfortable than the forester. Bet the Forester get the front spot in our driveway in snowy weather.

Great quad cab truck rides smooth extra quiet cab powerful diesel engine Duramax something Toyota does not offer. the truck is spacious designed well and seems well built.

Easy to schedule and a good tracking system for prior repairs and recommendations. My one complaint was the unannounced (unless I missed it) surcharge on using credit cards. I get emails and texts regularly. One of them should have noted the 3.5 % fee on all credit cards. I was not the only customer there who was taken by surprise when trying to pay a bill. I was able to max out a debit card and toss in some cash to cover the repairs but costs like that need to be made ahead of time, not sprung on people at the register.

I am extremely pleased with my Chevy Malibu RS. It has cloth seats, interior black. Outside is gray. I am very comfortable with driving and it manages the road well. when we had rain (finally) the roads were slick but I could feel the steady control of the anti skid. It is a car you and trust and feel safe in, much more so than the smaller cars. You can comfortably seat 5 and you don't have to ride with your knees up to your chin.

Great car for commuting and local use. Fast charging isn't quick but still practical for occasional long trips. After 1.5 years, not one problem. Fun to drive and quiet smooth operation. My first Chevy and I am impressed. Note that in very cold weather, EV range drops about 25%. This is true with most all EV's. This isn't an issue for daily use. For long trips, you will need to charge a little more often. In warm weather I get between 260 and 300 mile range.
