Im 66 years old, know little to nothing about newer vehicles and how buying one works. When i say i messaged every dealership from Boerne to Austin, I did. I got so many texts from salesman and when I would discuss my needs and what I wanted, they always turned it around like they new what I needed more. Then I got a message from Bill Wyman in the Used car sales at Red Mccombs Superior Hyundai. i started sending him pictures of cars on his lot, things I saw on the website, he checked out everyone and gave me info on each one. I was trying to buy within a budget I had created for myself. The very next day he found a SUV on the lot that checked all my boxes. It fell into my budget, it was comfortable, and beautiful, couldnt find a reason to say NO! Bill Wyman was so patient with this old lady. He did a great job. I would never recommend anyone other than him for a car. He was kind and even called the next day to make sure I got everything setup and to see if I needed anything. This is my first crossover. I've been a truck and SUV person for about 20 years. When my truck was stolen and totaled, I bought this car used with 84k miles on it. The first week I had it the water pump went out, I kid you not. Not good so far, huh? The good thing is the car told me " car overheating, idle engine." My mechanic says newer vehicles are made to warn you before overheating causes damage to the engine. Thank God. I like the car, I'm actually starting to love the car. Trunk space is minimal, seats arent the most comfortable, I miss having a center storage space, and a passenger armrest would have been nice. The radio is kind of small to be tinkering with while driving, and I wish Android auto was wireless with built-in wifi (newer models have this) but the steering wheel controls help me overlook this minor inconvenience. This car is the only car I looked at with all the options I wanted for this year and price: remote start, extra CLEAR backup camera, push start, power driver seat AND park assist which alot of cars are phasing out these days in favor of things manufacturers believe consumers find more desirable. The blind spot indicators and cross traffic warning is nice as well and the ac blows freezing cold. You really get lots of bang for your buck. Oh and I was surprised by how well it handles bumps in the road, my last vehicle made me seasick going over those big speed bumps, not this car, it's extra smooth. I can't buy large hauls at rummage sales or thrift stores anymore because there's not enough space to haul them home, but there's plenty of room for me and the grandkids. I really wasn't financially prepared to buy a car right now and couldn't afford to buy brand new. But TBH, I find this model year of this car prettier than the new ones and overall am really pleased with my purchase. I'm getting older and this will probably be the last car I'll ever own or drive and I'm glad it was this one. Thank you Chevrolet.

I recently got a 2020 Equinox and there's a reason you see them everywhere. It's a great car that gets (somewhat) decent gas mileage. There's just a few issues I have with it. I've had to ride in the backseat of my Equinox a few times, whether I went out with friends and got slightly drunk or accidentally let my wallet go through the laundry. The point is… every time I have ever ridden in the backseat of the car, I always hit my head on the part where the roof meets the door. I'm 5' 10", which is an average male height, and yet, literally every single time I've ever been in the back seat of my car or in the back seat of an Uber ride that also drove a new-ish Chevy Equinox or similar car, I've hit my head on the headliner when the car turns. I also frequently use this car to transport my younger siblings who don't have a license or are in the process of getting one, and some of them have the same complaint. There's also not a lot of leg room in the back of the car, and again, I am about average male height. Two of my siblings are also around the same height as me. Also, this car is only five years old and the ABS light is already on. Now, this is not a huge deal, but my mom had an older GMC Acadia that she drove for about a decade before any warning lights appeared on her dashboard. Her car's ABS sensor never failed. Anyway, all in all, the newer Chevy Equinox is a really good car and I can see why it's the #1 choice for soccer moms.

It took a little too much time and effort to get in contact with your service department through the telephone it took 5 calls to get through.

I have owned 3 Chevy equinox and I like the way it looks and handles. It is a great family vehicle and very comfortable and safe. All 3 of my Equinox were the Premier class well worth the extra money and more features.

I needed a car with an automatic transmission because my knee was getting worse. I had a 2011 Cruze with a manual transmission and liked it but I traded it in for a 2019 Cruze. Going on six years now and I don't want another vehicle. Reliable? Very. I don't drive like a maniac and I keep up with maintenance. My usb port went kaput but I replaced it myself. My phone would not connect to the infotainment system. I fixed that by removing the fuse to the radio while it was on then turning off the car and then plugging it back in. It rebooted the system. I garage my Cruze and watch where I park it, so no dents anywhere. I intend to keep this car for as long as possible.

I was really impressed with the service I received. As soon as i drove up, there was someone to greet me and they immediately did some testing. I was assigned ONE specific person to work with and that person was available to answer questions via text or phone. They even paid for an Uber to take me home!

I had a travel experience in January 2023, while vacationing in Florida, to save money I ordered a subcompact and was up graded to a Chevy Malibu. The LT has the smaller 1.5 L 4 Cylinder which was great on gas, performance was good, not great like my Chevy Avalanche. Missed my flight back to JFK NYC, My fault. Jet Blue got me to LaGuardia AP. Rental Company at JFK was About to Close. The same Company had a branch in LaGuardia they rented me a Malibu at no extra cost. It snowed and the front wheel drive just held the road. That's why I purchased a 2020 Malibu Premier it had everything but the Safety & entertainment. I loved everything else.

I ordered some maintenance supplies and a new spare tire. I went to pickup supplies and was told the spare just needed to be mounted. Person on phone said 30-45 minutes. Unfortunately, my appt took longer because other people just showed up randomly and there was only one service advisor working. He did the best he could, but I should've had priority with an appointment and they needed more than one guy.

I have now had this car for over five years, as the second owner, and have over 275,000 miles. It's not as comfortable as Suburban, and doesn't handle as nicely as a mini van, but most of the issues to this point have been cosmetic or fairly normal for the vehicle category (suspension, etc). I have the most basic package; The interior is showing wear, and the driver information center's light sensor has been acting up for a while, but it still gets us where we need to go.

I bought an LT model new in 2013 and have driven it daily ever since. I have not had a single problem of any sort.....no repairs, service, etc. other than oil changes at the proper intervals. The interior has held up beautifully, and the exterior paint has coped quite well with being parked outside in the hot desert sun. The gas mileage is around 16 to 17 MPG, which is rather low, but it is a large vehicle. Acceleration is excellent, but there is a lag before the transmission downshifts for passing. Overall, it is one of the nicest, quietest vehicles I have ever owned.

We bought 2017 Chevrolet Equinox 4 cylinder. Pre owned with about 59k miles. It’s over 110k and we’ve had the oxygen sensor and catalytic converter replaced. Also 1 tire sensor. We’ve put the 2nd set of tires on the car yesterday. Always Michelin as recommended and brake shoes. I just have to say I still love my car. It’s paid for and I’ll drive her as long as I can.

Love the room and the power. Hate the bouncy, bumpy ride. With no drink holders.seatbelts for the very back seat would tighten scary tight around a small child.

I bought a 2016 Cruze Limited brand new in December 2015 and just this week parted ways with it at 100k miles. This was a great little car that I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again! The interior is comfortable and roomy and for the price, it has all the tech that you really need. Like most cars, it started needing more than the regular maintenance when it started getting close to 100k miles, but it’s still a reliable car and a great value. If you’re truly looking for a car to get you from A to B with a little extra in the way of amenities and you don’t have a complex about impressing people you don’t know with things you can’t afford, this car is a wonderful option.

This is the second Chevrolet Sonic that I have owned. I only bought the newer 2019 vehicle because I just loved my 2016 model as well. I would like to find a 2020 in the future, as this was the last year of its manufacturing. I love all the features and how this wonderful vehicle operates and handles the road. It is reliable and good on gas, as well.

Before my grandpa passed away in September 2023, he had it in his will to give me his 2012 Impala. I got his car as a Christmas present that year. Since then, I've enjoyed driving the old Impala. A car with 300 hp AND 30 mpg on the highway? Yes! Thanks, Grandpa, for your love of American cars! Thanks, Chevrolet, for making such a great car! I love how roomy my car is, how great the audio system is, and how relevant the Driver Information Center (DIC) is! I highly recommend this car to anyone.

We bought this car when we lived on Vancouver Island. Great car in traffic and getting in and out of parking spots. We loved every moment we have owned it!

I bought my leased Malibu back in 2021 and haven't had a problem with it since then. A few things to know. I used to drive to another state for work every day. Now I only drive about an average of 6-7 miles daily. This, car for what I intended, has been good to me. I work in a chevy service department and see it all. If you're the type that is looking for your car to share some characteristics of vehicles like BMW, don't bother buying this. The CVT has a bulletin from GM that says trans may feel like it's slipping, you may feel hesitations in trans, and a list of other hard to swallow symptoms, but it's ok. The CVT is functioning normally and improve fuel economy these symtoms may appear but it is not a problem. I have had many people overreact and bring the vehicle to me after someone they paid to replace their transmission messed up. It worked fine for a bit but now the car is compromised. I almost overreacted too, but once you get used to the car you realize you're fine. If you believe there's an issue someone out there will take your money to "fix" your problem. My thoughts, it's a good car. I stay on top of my oil changes and recommended maintenance. My only regret is I need all wheel drive where I'm moving and may need to replace it.

First of all, I am a stick guy. I bought a 5 speed 2021 Spark, I prefer shifting and have been for over 50 years. I get 40+mpg most of the time. I am 68, and our family has full sized pickup, full size SUV and other vehicles. So not my only car, but the most fuel efficient. It is the one I want to take especially when driving alone. I pull trailers with other vehicles, but am very pleased this small car is so efficient and even with a small 4 cyl and reviews of underpowered, when you know how to use the manual transmission, it can have plenty of passing power. I am an engineer and understand, a simple fuel efficient car is not going to accelerate like a muscle car, and don’t expect it to!
