Doesn't look great on the exterior honestly, but it definitely can when you get the higher trims. However, the interior is spacious and has comfortable seating, simple controls and amazing sound quality for your music. I got one with the column shifter and double bench seat, which is really nice when you need to squeeze all your buddies in the car. The Camaro derived V6 is punchy, full of life and lets the car rip to your hearts desire. Still, I average about 34 mpg when I drive, so it's quite fuel efficient, especially for a large American car! Also has a massive trunk to fit more stuff in. I simply wish there was more aftermarket support for modifications.

I’ve had 3 of this generation Equinox since they came out in 2018, and I got rid of the other ones just because I wanted something else. This time I got a Premier 2.0T AWD. It only had 33,000 miles on it and I’ve only had it a few weeks but so far so good. The 2.0T should’ve been the only motor this car came with!

This review is for a 2.0 turbo AWD Equinox Premier that I bought new six years ago and put 95,000 miles on. Sadly, this 252 HP engine was discontinued shortly after I bought it. Only maintenance in its life were infrequent car washes, twelve oil changes, twelve tire rotations, four new tires at 66,000 miles, rear brakes at 72,000 miles, air and cabin filters replaced twice. I’m still on my original battery and original front brakes. It should be noted that I only use 5W-30 Mobil 1 oil and I change the oil myself religiously as the car tells me to, and rotate tires the same week. For disposal, I pour the oil back into the same container that it was purchased in, so I can say without a doubt that the car has never burned (or leaked) a single shot glass of oil in its entire life. I have never reset the odometer since the car left the factory, so I can say that it has averaged 26.2 miles per gallon over its life, terrific given the power that it has, though I will say that almost all of its miles are highway. That also explains why my mileage on my tires and brakes are so good. And I should add a comment on the auto stop/start that so many in here don’t seem to like. I love it.

I've been driving this car for nearly two years, have added 38k miles on it so far, and am now pushing 95K everything's been great, I haven't had any reliability issues, and everything is running smoothly. However, the gas mileage is nowhere near their claims, granted to don't drive conservatively but I'm getting anywhere from 19-22 mpg. Great car overall, especially for the price.

2018 2.0T AWD with 172k miles on it and it is going STRONG. Bought it used with 31k miles. Zero major issues but I've maintained it religiously, oil and transmission oil changed regularly. Spark plugs and coils had to be switched out at 130k miles but that's expected. Transmission is running strong and still sounds as great as the day I bought it.

I want to start up by saying, I am not a "car person". I do know, is a 5'2 female, this car feels like it was made for me. It gets amazing gas mileage, and you can park in a sidewalk square if needed. Yes, it does not have a lot of bells and whistles to it at all, but it does have the Android auto / Apple Auto feature which I love, at the same time as having roll up Windows. It is perfect for in town and highway driving. I drove it all the way to Georgia from Illinois with no problem. And my 6'5 son fits comfortably in the passenger seat as well, as well as plenty of room in the backseat and trunk for groceries or luggage.

I have visited the service department twice in the past 3 weeks. I have found them efficient and friendly. I like their new waiting room.

The engine runs smoothly, transmission shifts without issues, and maintenance costs are reasonable. I currently have 158,000 miles on my Traverse . I bought it six years ago . It has been through my two kids and their permit driving . To driving my kids to school everyday for five years . We love twenty miles from town . I have always kept the maintenance up on it . I plan on driving my traverse till it is done . Chevrolet really did their homework when they made the Traverse . It has satisfied my every need in a car . I love the power , the quite on the road . The gas mileage for the power you get out of it . The comport for traveling . The ease of handling. I really love the Traverse .

I’ve had my 2019 trax 52k miles for almost 3 years, absolutely love the car no problems so far(knock on wood) only small minor inconvenience a ground wire got a little dusty and was cleaned. I have done the pcv fix as Chevy did not make it good for these engines in the long run. Not a lot of power for my liking so I modified some components. Not very friendly for tall people im 6’3 and have my seat set almost all the way back.

We purchased our 2017 hatchback new in the summer of 2017. Our only expenses at 134,000 plus miles has been gas, regular oil and filter changes, tire pressure sensor and tires. A VERY reliable car with average mileage 34 mpg, max highway was 55 plus! And normal highway at 70 mpg of 43 mpg. No interior, exterior or mechanical issues or viewable wear. I wish Chevy still produced them for sale in U.S.A. as we would gladly buy another. No other new vehicle this size, mileage, amenities at this price.

I, and my wife bought a 2018 Chevy Cruze LS Sedan in February 2018 brand new right off the back of the delivery truck. I purchased the 2020 Traverse Premier Redline Edition brand new with only 50 miles and have no qualms about it. I did knock it down to four stars on performance due to its hesitation at yield signs when I accelerate after slowing down. If not at the perfect timing when in the yield, the vehicle will jerk or hesitate to go when I push the accelerator. Once the engine gets beyond that hesitation point, there is a decent amount of power in the acceleration. The hesitation is not a dealbreaker for me, however. Just annoying and can be dangerous if you are in a situation where you have minimal reaction time. Car and Driver said it best: "When parking or maneuvering at low speed, the Traverse feels every bit its size. Pick up the pace, however, and the big Chevy feels smaller than it is—poised, if not overtly athletic." If you're looking for a third-row seating option with second-row captain's chairs but are not the minivan type, much like myself, the Traverse is a great option. Rear cargo space is small, but if you think about it, you will lack impressive cargo space in a mid-size SUV if it has third-row seating. There's always the roof rack/cargo carrier option for storage. It's not bad, especially if a clutter-free interior on long road trips with the family is your forte. On the plus side, the lack of cargo space allows adults and teenagers to sit comfortably in the third row, and second-row passengers have an impressive amount of legroom. Other great interior options are the heated and cooled first and second-row seats. Backseat passengers can control their climate, from changing the temperature and fan speed to turning the entire system on or off, without changing the Driver's and front seat passenger's preferred climate. The Bose system is impressive. The clear audio quality, with the subwoofer under the front console, makes it sound like you're in a concert. If blasting the new age of music isn't your thing, that's cool. Classical music sounds just as impressive in this ride. Overall, I am pleased with this ride. I love getting in it every day. I receive a lot of compliments and looks. The sleek and sporty design of the Redline Edition with the black-on-white color is a head-turner! If you take care of your vehicles, they will last. The Traverse is no different. Never stretch out an oil change due date, and never turn down factory-recommended services. Avoid the quick lube places at all costs. No offense to them, many of them do great, but they work within parameters outside the scope of routine vehicle maintenance, such as tire rotations, factory-recommended inspections, and factory-recommended maintenance, depending on your vehicle mileage.

Paint on hood looks like it is separating from clearcoat. Takes a very long time to get hot air from heater. Had to replace steering gear.

It's a shame more people were not familiar with this car before Chevrolet stopped producing them. I drive on EV mode almost all the time, except when going on long trips. There is no range anxiety with the Volt. My car is averaging 181,000 MPG lifetime.

I was once about the second time I started again to restart the first time I came back to begin again from the third of four or five of them.

I drive around town most days and love the idea of not using as much gas. I drive older volvo's that I love for many reasons but they are aging and certainly not good on gas. I like the idea of full EV cars but the cost is very high and range for me (I take a lot of 200-300 mile road trips) makes it more complicated along with the expense of charging stations or installing upgraded home chargers. I bought a used Volt with 50k miles and it honestly is a pretty awesome car. I can drive around town almost purely on electric, just plug in at night to a standard outlet. And barring me going on a road trip a tank of gas a month maybe less. (8 gallons to fill up!!!!) I love the heated seats and wheel. The interior layout is great and its a very quiet car. It's quick around town and holds its own on the freeway. Are the seats volvo comfortable? NO, but they aren't bad at all in the leather premier trim. Is the back seat huge not really but if you are less than 6' it should be fine. The bose sound system is GREAT. All the safety features are nice. Back up camera, front and rear sensors, lane keep, adaptive cruise, etc.... It took a week or so to get used to how to drive it in EV and maximize my range. I can now get around 55-60 miles in town. I would say to read the manual for sure, the climate controls are situated to save electricity so there is no A/C on or off button and I had to read up on how it works. I got the hang of it once I took the time to understand what did what. The Chevy Volt forum is a wealth of knowledge as well, and that really made it easy to learn how the car works. Apart from slight learning curve it is an excellent car you can easily run in EV only if it suits your situation. Long trips are no problem I can get 42 mpg on the freeway usually and no down time to charge at stations along the way. This is a great car to bridge the gap between full gas and full electric and given the price to purchase it almost makes sense not to own one. I LOVE IT.

When the Volt first came out I would give it 5 stars for everything, now new cars coming out so I took some off but still mostly 5 stars. It is still a great value. No car is perfect but this has allowed me to avoid a lot of maintenance and repairs of regular gas cars.

Review: Living With 3 Chevy Bolt EVs for past 6 years Owning three Chevy Bolt EVs has been one of the smartest financial and practical decisions we’ve made. Each year, we’re saving $6,000–$7,000 combined on fuel and maintenance compared to when we drove gasoline cars. We get about 250-300 miles of range depending on heat and AC use. We bought them used around $20k each, had batteries replaced in 2020 so 100,000 mile warranty, can't beat it! Charging at Home Is Simple, either use 110v and charge overnight or upgrade 220v dryer plug We picked up a Level 2 home charger for about $150 on Amazon. Installing and running it is as simple as hooking up clothes dryer. The charger just uses a standard 240V outlet, and the energy demand is nothing unusual for a typical household. Pulls same amount of power as microwave or toaster oven. Real Cost to Charge Let’s run the math: Electric rate: $0.10 per kWh Efficiency: ~4.5 miles per kWh Monthly driving: 2,000 miles each car That works out to: 2,000 miles at 4.5miles/kW at 10cents/kW= $44/month So for just $44 a month, each Bolt drives 2,000 miles. Compare that to a gas car at 30 MPG and $3.50/gallon: 2,000 miles at 30MPG= 66.7gals times $3.50 = $233/month That’s nearly $190/month in savings per car, just on fuel. Multiply that by 3 cars and a full year, and the numbers quickly add up. Maintenance Savings Beyond the fuel savings, the Bolt EVs don’t need oil changes, transmission services, or exhaust system repairs. Brake wear is minimal thanks to regenerative braking. For us, the maintenance costs dropped to little more than tire rotations (free at Discount Tire), washer fluid and cabin air filters. Final Thoughts Switching to the Chevy Bolt has been a financial win and a stress reliever. Charging at home is as easy as running a kitchen appliance, and the cost per mile is dramatically lower. With three Bolts in the household, the yearly savings of $6,000–$7,000 speak for themselves, that over $40,000 in savings!
