I have now had this car for over five years, as the second owner, and have over 275,000 miles. It's not as comfortable as Suburban, and doesn't handle as nicely as a mini van, but most of the issues to this point have been cosmetic or fairly normal for the vehicle category (suspension, etc). I have the most basic package; The interior is showing wear, and the driver information center's light sensor has been acting up for a while, but it still gets us where we need to go.

I bought mine used. And the prior owner took care of this car. I love this car. I can fold down the rear seats. Yea, my fishing rods go there. GM always the topdog in there line of work.

2007 Silverado 1500 engine 5.3 runs great 150k miles exterior rocker panels have rotted out cab corners also! Have had oil change every 3000 miles burn's no oil ride's great yet.

Aaron Miller, salesman, kept his word when I wasn't “determined” to buy a car. He handled my Mom’s new lease and I mentioned I would love to buy a used car but was on a very limited income. He asked how much I could pay each month and that he would keep an eye out and be in contact. It wasn’t but a few days later he called and told me about a 2008 Ford Edge Limited with 105,000 miles and in my range. He helped me with purchasing this vehicle. I am very happy! I really wasn't expecting him to call based on my personal limits!! DAVID, the finance person, was so kind and handled all the paperwork with great detail. He made the process so easy! I have a 2020 1500 RST with the 5.3 engine and 8 speed transmission. My truck now has 67,000 miles. The acceleration is outstanding and smooth from gears 3-8. Probably could use more torque for gears 1-2, but not weak by any means. I have had no mechanical problems outside of the clunking rear suspension which was fixed by retorqueing the rear leaf spring suspension bolts. Other than that minor issue, it has been very reliable. I have heard these transmissions have had issues, but nothing that has caused issues for me. It has the 60-70 MPH shutter that is common to these transmissions, but I have learned how to drive to avoid the shutter, as I did with my 2011 1500. Overall pretty satisfied at this point. Comfort and amenities could be better for the front seats for the price, but I bought it knowing that. FYI my front brakes at this point are still 50%, and I have invested very little outside of a few fluid exchanges and routine maintenance. Excellent fuel mileage: 20 mpg with 50% highway vs city driving.

My oil change was a very pleasant experience. The Service Rep, Will, is very polite and knowledgeable and makes you feel like a valuable customer to Expressway. He is a great asset to the company.

This truck meets all my needs I just love it my wife picked it out for me. It is very clean on the inside well taking care of. The truck really drives well.

I do wish the front seat would recline but that chan be changed .lock system a bit noisy but works goodhavent had lo g so well see how it dies this summer

I had a base 2018 LT for just over 4 years. I bought it used off a lease buy back. I loved the truck, and if I didn’t end up needing a bigger back seat, for car seats, I’d probably still have it. I thought the ride was bouncy, almost too bouncy. I had no issues mechanically. The antenna was stuck and I marred it up trying to replace it. And the sunglasses holder started falling. The tpms sensors failed. But no big issues. That’s why I give it 4 of 5.

I inquired about about a used car for my son, the salesman was very helpful and the car was a fair deal. A good experience.

It truly is an American dream car... fast, reliable, easy to maintain, quick response, surprisingly good gas mileage better than my Nissan XTerra, and most of all very affordable sports car in the market. Most maintenance can be done by an average DIYer and there's a glut of after market parts available everywhere. I have a convertible triple black and it gets admired every time I'm on the road. This is my first Corvette and with my age, probably not my last.

I ordered my 85 in December of 1984 and I still have it - I love my 85! This is the 4th one I have owned.

I owe Tapp Motors (Jr and Sr) a wholehearted apology for what I wrote last night. Seems like we all had challenging days yesterday and our lines of communications were BROKEN. You know, I’ve always given advice about email like this: Write what you want, but NEVER, EVER send an emotional email... I broke my own rule. Also, if you have a problem and misunderstanding then pick up the phone, walk over and have a friendly conversation to clear the air. So, that’s what I did earlier today after not sleeping much last night. I called both gents and explained my feelings and why I abruptly left the lot yesterday. They were very gracious and we all apologized for poor communication. I felt better, they felt better and everyone is smiling and laughing... Life is GOOD! After such a misunderstanding and we’re able to “shake hands” and part friends says A LOT about the Character of the Tapp Family. It’s not often a rather bad communication can be settled and without hard feelings. It’s ALL about the more often and not practiced “Golden Rule”.... Sadly we’re often too busy to stop and smell the roses and more importantly LISTEN. God gave us two ears to one mouth. Gentlemen and The Family of Tapp Motors.... I got my '84 Corvette from the original owner, a deceased family member. The car only has 21k miles, but it hadn't been driven in several years before I took ownership. Having owned a C3 Corvette, I already had an appreciation for Corvettes in general. I initially didn't want the '84 because I had read many negative comments about the Crossfire fuel injection system. However, it was a good deal, and I wanted a new project. Today, I am happy to say that I love this car. Like any car that is 40 years old, you will need to replace/rebuild some things, like gaskets, vacuum hoses, throttle bodies, and whatnot. Overall, it was great to do some wrenching again, and with a few upgrades, this car runs very well and is reliable. I also realized that those who talk about the '84 year negatively never own one and just repeat the nonsense they've heard about the car.
