I bought my 2016 Chevy Cruze LT in 2019 with 19,000 mi on it. I've now had it for 6 years and with minimal maintenance I now have $270,000 mi on the car. I'm 71 years old I have a lead foot and I love the cruze. Still driving that car today and now looking to buy another one. It's too bad Chevrolet did not continue to make the cruze.

We purchased our 2017 hatchback new in the summer of 2017. Our only expenses at 134,000 plus miles has been gas, regular oil and filter changes, tire pressure sensor and tires. A VERY reliable car with average mileage 34 mpg, max highway was 55 plus! And normal highway at 70 mpg of 43 mpg. No interior, exterior or mechanical issues or viewable wear. I wish Chevy still produced them for sale in U.S.A. as we would gladly buy another. No other new vehicle this size, mileage, amenities at this price.

We had the 2018 before this 2023 for 3years and it was amazing other than regular maintenance we put a battery in it that's it. Loved the car took us everywhere without fail very reliable. Has a mean punch with the 4-cylinder but it's the turbo Tranny makes it mean. It goes when you need to! Nice style looks classy and sporty. We got grey metallic paint it looks purple! We love this car too, a lot like our old one but new features for sure driving assistance features crash prevention, and new car deck bigger and better could use a lot more bass lol. But great sound without good bass. Malibu's are being discontinued so the wife and I will be looking at a impala next ride purchase as we fell hard for Chevy Period!

Out of all the cars that I have taken for a test drive. The 2025 Chevy Malibu is the best. It has style, it drives and handles well, and has some awesome features to go along with it. But more importantly it is a by name it is one of the most reliable vehicles you can buy and never go wrong.

This is my fourth Malibu, first one was a 2004 Maxx, second one was a 2017 Malibu LS, third one was a 2022 LS and now I have a 2024 RS, all four have been good cars with excellent fuel economy and space inside, maybe not as refined as some Japanese models but great cars regardless, give one a try....

2014 Malibu has been the perfect car. 355,000 miles and still going strong. Only minor repairs (wheel bearings, 1 O2 sensor and a valve timing solenoid), all preventative maintenance, and 33mpg lifetime average. Drivers seat is worn but all else is still in good condition.

I had a travel experience in January 2023, while vacationing in Florida, to save money I ordered a subcompact and was up graded to a Chevy Malibu. The LT has the smaller 1.5 L 4 Cylinder which was great on gas, performance was good, not great like my Chevy Avalanche. Missed my flight back to JFK NYC, My fault. Jet Blue got me to LaGuardia AP. Rental Company at JFK was About to Close. The same Company had a branch in LaGuardia they rented me a Malibu at no extra cost. It snowed and the front wheel drive just held the road. That's why I purchased a 2020 Malibu Premier it had everything but the Safety & entertainment. I loved everything else.

The Malibu is a fine car. The 1.5T engine is adequate but not much more than that. It also is unrefined and groans and grumbles. You can get around town relatively well and merge onto the highway but may want to leave space for passing trucks on two lane roads. The trunk is massive and is great for trips. Fuel economy is also stellar. We typically get 500 miles on a tank on road trips. The interior is quiet for the price of the vehicle. The materials on the other hand are sub par. Cheap plastics and cloth. To be fair it is a car that had a sticker of 28k. We have put just under 7,000 miles on the car and have had no reliability concerns. The sound system however is one of the worst I have heard. The sound really only comes out of the tweeters and the system is criminally underpowered. The rear leg room is fantastic and the overall ride and handling are good. The handling is the main redeeming quality of the way the car drives. I haven't pushed it hard but under quicker than normal steering on back roads it does compose itself with not too much body roll. The steering is tight and responsive. Overall I think this is a good car for someone not concerned about all of the newest bells and whistles and wants a sedan they can get a great deal on at the dealership. I have confidence that this will not have any major issues until around 130k miles.

Just recently purchased a Nissan Kicks at the Independence CarMax, we had previously purchased a Nissan Sentra {about 2 weeks prior) but we found it eventually getting into the vehicle difficult for the age as I am getting older (seventies in my case) the Kicks we have now is a wonderful vehicle. Rick Gross was our salesperson. He did a wonderful job explaining every aspect of our purchase. Gladstone was wonderful. I was running late. Got there 30 minutes before closing. They still processed the sale with all the paperwork and signatures. The car is in excellent condition. They have a mechanic on site so do their own CARFAX inspections. They went over that with me and assured me it was in excellent condition. They even showed me the ownership and service history. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! I owned a generation 2 Chevy Cruze hatchback for the past 8 years. Other than routine maintenance it never had a failure. Excellent fit and finish. Incredible gas mileage with a peppy turbo charged engine. The only negative is that GM no longer produces these highly reliable vehicles.

It's a good car. Bought it used. I bought it with 84000 miles, now has 111,000 miles. Main computer had to be replaced, and was done under warranty. I replaced the brakes myself at 104,000 miles, and they were the original OE GM brakes the car was born with. Seats lack support, but I bought a leather cushion that helps. The back seat is really tight, ok for small kids. My fuel economy in the city can get to 23 mpg if I don't use the AC. It gets worse city mileage in the winter too. Highway mileage, the car does well, 34-35 if I drive it right. I think for a reliable used car, it's ok. They are cheaper than the Japanese competition. Rides and handles well.
