I had a base 2018 LT for just over 4 years. I bought it used off a lease buy back. I loved the truck, and if I didn’t end up needing a bigger back seat, for car seats, I’d probably still have it. I thought the ride was bouncy, almost too bouncy. I had no issues mechanically. The antenna was stuck and I marred it up trying to replace it. And the sunglasses holder started falling. The tpms sensors failed. But no big issues. That’s why I give it 4 of 5.

Dealership worked with me to try to make a mistake right. Was told that a van I was planning to buy was AWD. Was planning to buy the van but discovered it was not AWD. They made a deal on another van on the lot that did have AWD.

I needed a car with an automatic transmission because my knee was getting worse. I had a 2011 Cruze with a manual transmission and liked it but I traded it in for a 2019 Cruze. Going on six years now and I don't want another vehicle. Reliable? Very. I don't drive like a maniac and I keep up with maintenance. My usb port went kaput but I replaced it myself. My phone would not connect to the infotainment system. I fixed that by removing the fuse to the radio while it was on then turning off the car and then plugging it back in. It rebooted the system. I garage my Cruze and watch where I park it, so no dents anywhere. I intend to keep this car for as long as possible.

Nicolas, our service advisor, kept us up to date during the entire repair process and even sent us a video when the car was being inspected. He was great! We had to have new valve lifters and a new motor mount so the work on our car was pretty extensive. The work seems to have been done well, time will tell. A little more than 2 years ago I bought a used 2017 Chevy Trax LT AWD, with a 1.4L engine. In addition, this vehicle was in a wreck which got hit on the rear end of the vehicle. However, the vehicle was fixed before purchasing it and I bought it with a fair price, with 49k original miles. Now the Trax has 97k miles and has had his fair amount of issues. Additionally, at 60k miles the turbo was leaking antifreeze and had to replace it with the valve that was attached to it. Also, I had some minor issues on the AC controller which h I had to have those replaced, and sooner or later I'm going to have to replace the blower motor since it's making a weird sound when it's on. This vehicle has treated me good since I've been keeping up with the regular oil changes (I usually buy Mobile 1 oil and filter, advance full synthetic) and I usually change also the air filter every 15k-30k miles. Also I've done 2 tune ups with new spark plugs and coils. To be honest if yiu do the regular maintenance you won't have any issues especially the engine and transmission. Furthermore, in a couple of days I'll be replacing the break pads, and also just FYI the 1.4L engine has a timing chain, so if you do the regular oil changes it will last forever. Soon I'll be replacing the gaskets and water pump since it's about to turn 100k mikes. All in all, I give it a 4.0-4.5 overall rating, space if very bad you can't fit regular size adults in the rear seats!

I want to start up by saying, I am not a "car person". I do know, is a 5'2 female, this car feels like it was made for me. It gets amazing gas mileage, and you can park in a sidewalk square if needed. Yes, it does not have a lot of bells and whistles to it at all, but it does have the Android auto / Apple Auto feature which I love, at the same time as having roll up Windows. It is perfect for in town and highway driving. I drove it all the way to Georgia from Illinois with no problem. And my 6'5 son fits comfortably in the passenger seat as well, as well as plenty of room in the backseat and trunk for groceries or luggage.

I bought a 2016 Cruze Limited brand new in December 2015 and just this week parted ways with it at 100k miles. This was a great little car that I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again! The interior is comfortable and roomy and for the price, it has all the tech that you really need. Like most cars, it started needing more than the regular maintenance when it started getting close to 100k miles, but it’s still a reliable car and a great value. If you’re truly looking for a car to get you from A to B with a little extra in the way of amenities and you don’t have a complex about impressing people you don’t know with things you can’t afford, this car is a wonderful option.

I’ve had my 2019 trax 52k miles for almost 3 years, absolutely love the car no problems so far(knock on wood) only small minor inconvenience a ground wire got a little dusty and was cleaned. I have done the pcv fix as Chevy did not make it good for these engines in the long run. Not a lot of power for my liking so I modified some components. Not very friendly for tall people im 6’3 and have my seat set almost all the way back.

I've had one major issue with this car and it's concerning an air conditioning drain hose. I've had to have it drained and unclogged twice in 5 years. It has spilled water all over my floorboards and shorted out my radio and to me that is a design flaw in the car. I've never had any other car do that to me

We bought 2017 Chevrolet Equinox 4 cylinder. Pre owned with about 59k miles. It’s over 110k and we’ve had the oxygen sensor and catalytic converter replaced. Also 1 tire sensor. We’ve put the 2nd set of tires on the car yesterday. Always Michelin as recommended and brake shoes. I just have to say I still love my car. It’s paid for and I’ll drive her as long as I can.

I had a travel experience in January 2023, while vacationing in Florida, to save money I ordered a subcompact and was up graded to a Chevy Malibu. The LT has the smaller 1.5 L 4 Cylinder which was great on gas, performance was good, not great like my Chevy Avalanche. Missed my flight back to JFK NYC, My fault. Jet Blue got me to LaGuardia AP. Rental Company at JFK was About to Close. The same Company had a branch in LaGuardia they rented me a Malibu at no extra cost. It snowed and the front wheel drive just held the road. That's why I purchased a 2020 Malibu Premier it had everything but the Safety & entertainment. I loved everything else.

We purchased our 2017 hatchback new in the summer of 2017. Our only expenses at 134,000 plus miles has been gas, regular oil and filter changes, tire pressure sensor and tires. A VERY reliable car with average mileage 34 mpg, max highway was 55 plus! And normal highway at 70 mpg of 43 mpg. No interior, exterior or mechanical issues or viewable wear. I wish Chevy still produced them for sale in U.S.A. as we would gladly buy another. No other new vehicle this size, mileage, amenities at this price.

First of all, I am a stick guy. I bought a 5 speed 2021 Spark, I prefer shifting and have been for over 50 years. I get 40+mpg most of the time. I am 68, and our family has full sized pickup, full size SUV and other vehicles. So not my only car, but the most fuel efficient. It is the one I want to take especially when driving alone. I pull trailers with other vehicles, but am very pleased this small car is so efficient and even with a small 4 cyl and reviews of underpowered, when you know how to use the manual transmission, it can have plenty of passing power. I am an engineer and understand, a simple fuel efficient car is not going to accelerate like a muscle car, and don’t expect it to!

My 2019 Trax LT hasn't had any problems. (knock wood) The stereo system is great, if the headrest would tilt back it'd be a 5 star on comfort. As is, long trips are comfortable. The turbo hesitates if I haven't kicked it in before it's needed. Blow the cobwebs out so to speak. Overall, I love my lil' blue Trax LT.

Had car 8 yrs only trouble I had was upper o2 snsir went out. Still runs like a kitten.Great sound system, easy steering wheel control. Drive it from Louisiana to North Carolina once a year great gas mileage.
