Bought it 6 months ago, put on 7500 miles, now has 159,000. Not one problem, AC gets a bit cranky when above 100 degrees. Only cost two oil changes. Itza keeper. Now looking for a convertible version. Dont be afraid of high miles on these fun cars.

I bought my 2008 Cruiser in 2011 used with 30k miles on it. It's been 13 years and I STILL have it. It now has 170k miles and it didn't start having issues until maybe 2 or 3 years ago. First thing that cut out was the AC but I consider that a luxury and can't afford to get it fixed so I've been driving without it for a while. Maybe 5 years ago the suspension had to be replaced and the camshaft sensor had to be replaced like 3 times over the course of a year. About 3 years ago the radiator blew and needed to be replaced. And just last year ('23) the control arm needed to be replaced, and it started giving me issues overheating. Just this month (August '24) it needed a coolant flush, new thermostat, new radiator fan, and fuel pump. But with all the old car repairs, every time something is fixed, it keeps going and the repairs hold up. This little car has lasted longer than I ever thought it would and I'm going to keep it going as long as I can. Other than engine issues as the car has aged, the rest of it is decent. Good leg room, surprising amount of space. It's gotten me through 3 moves and I've packed so many moving boxes in there I didn't need to rent a moving van. I'm 35 now and still driving around my first car (mainly because I'm poor but whatever). I have so many good memories with this cat and I'm so glad it's lasted so long.

Been driving my 05 since 2009 and it’s still going. It has 240k and ticking. Bought it in 09 with like 60k miles to get a GTO cheaper lol. It’s my daily driver as the GTO rarely driven. I’d get another but will admit the maintenance is kinda high overall. But what do you expect from an almost 30 year old car and 14 years of ownership with long commute to work

Mine was a fantastic car, downside no power poor gas mileage, but l didnt need it to do either, l only had to do regular maintenance oil changes brakes and rear shocks, its a xxxxx if you have to do nearly anything in engine compartment. 180,000 miles and a pump in transmission went, l donated it

I bought a used 2005 chrysler pt cruiser a few years ago. My wife found in in Trenton , NJ. It was a one owner with just over 30,000 miles on it. We only drove it a few blocks, tried the convertible top and was sold on it. I had a small accident a few years ago but it was fixed fantastic like new. I love my car everything works like new and always getting some compliants Inferno Red Black Top Will never sell it!

This car has everything I was looking for in a car and it runs great. Its got leg room and it gets good gas mileage.

I really thought they worked with me well. I liked the first car I looked at but really didn’t get the answer if I could get a better price on it. But of course they showed me another one that I liked better but it was more money and it was definitely out of my range so I couldn’t even dream about that one. But they were nice through everything.

My daughter's 2018 Toyota Rav4 developed a leaky head gasket at about 84,000 miles.... and the check oil warning light never came on! Result: Engine is shot! I mention this because some people complain that the PT Cruiser had a problem with head gaskets. Guess what... ALL cars these days, including mighty Toyotas... can develop a leaky head gasket. If you can find a clean PT, with all maintenance records, AND the timing belt/water pump, etc replacement has been done, you can feel good about buying it.

This is my 2nd great experience at Roseville Auto Sales. My first great experience was about 3 years ago. Todd also helped me last time, and I'd been in communication with Matt via email. However, I had just purchased a nice 2000 Ford Focus from there that had been on their lot for awhile, but I did the research beforehand so knew the history of the car etc, so knew what I was getting into. They're always laid back there, and you ask for keys for whatever car(s) you want to test drive, and you can take your time inspecting under hood, starting them, then test driving them. Once you make up your mind on a purchase, all the paperwork takes less than 30 minutes and you're out the door. Thank you Todd and Matt for a very pleasant experience, I'll be back again in a couple years. They did mention they've been open 29 years roughly and have sold over 29,000 cars, which I believe, they stay pretty busy and overall have a very good selection of cars, a lot have high miles but some have moderate miles and are very reasonable. This car is extremely comfortable and also has the lightweight engine ratio for it to be not sluggish. Pretty much all the years look the same so if your car is in new condition it can look new.

I bought a used 2001Pt cruiser and love the car it’s roomy runs ok and looks nice it’s a keeper for me maybe one day a collectors vehicle good on gas too

Rides nice and is easy to get around in. Plenty of room in the back for stuff. I have been to the recycling place, junkin and shopping and had plenty of room. I also was able to fit a queen size adjustable bed from the store with ease.

I bought 2011 Honda Pilot EX in 2016 from East Coast Auto Source. It had bullet holes in the body and some shot out windows. I repaired the bullet holes, and had the other repairs completed. Car ran well and it needed some other work. Nine years later, we have 211,000 more miles on the Pilot. It was a good price and East Coast Auto Source was upfront and honest about the repairs and had the car shipped to my mechanic. I would bought another car in 2024 from them and I am happy with the deal.

Back seats come out, making plenty of room for dogs, equipment, golf clubs, whatever. Mileage not as good as I would like, but not bad either, avg around 21 mpg.

This is my 3rd pt cruiser and my 1st pt gt and for a little 4cly with turbo she moves really well it does great around town and so far has been great on long trips am very happy with it

This was the best car. Fun to drive! Handled well! Tight turning radius. Very comfortable, seated 4 adults with every seat as comfortable as the drivers seat, plenty of head and leg room for everyone. The cargo area and fold down seats could handle so much - including a twin mattress on one trip and 9 large plants from the nursery on another trip. Power outlets in the back and an adjustable tray in the back made it great for traveling and camping. I worked in a bldg. with 4 real estate companies - it looked like a PT Cruiser dealer parking lot - at least half of the agents drove PT cruisers - for the very comfort features I mentioned above. When my Mom needed a wheelchair - the seat height was perfect for transferring her in and out of the car. I know Chrysler didn't want to spend money on a redesign so they discontinued with this 2010 model. . All they needed to do was trick it out with some LED head and taillights, and put a TURBO in every model (without turbo, the power was pretty weak). BRING IT BACK I have had 2005 and 2010, if I had known 2010 would be the last year, I would have bought another one to store away until my 1st 2010 model was ready to retire. Chrysler - you didn't advertise or promote this car at all in the last few model years you made it - big mistake - it is great for senior citizens and college seniors and everyone in between. For real estate agents it was their second choice (after a Mercedes)... so really their FIRST choice car unless they were selling multi million $ mansions. Both of my PTs went everywhere. Long road trips, the beach, camping (drove across fields, no problem) and all over the city, easy to park, tight turning radius. Seriously Chrylser - who made this dumb decision? Trick it out a bit and bring it back!

I bought my first (sadly dream car) after selling my c3500 for a 2004 pt cruiser last year. Now at first it was the cheapest quickest car I could buy in a flash due to growing family. However the little Chrysler that could grew on me. I bought it with just over 150k km and quickly got just under 200k km. Now I know many will judge; but this little car went almost 50k km without any work or any oil changes or maintainance. I should mentioned this cars from way up north Canada so she sees ALOT of road salt snow and mud. Also I should mention this car is my and my sons “hunting buggy” we have over sized off-road tires and 30% of the time it’s running mud and gravel roads/off-roading. Only recently have I had to change my power steering hose and have a wheel bearing, hub, alignment and a new set of tires thrown on it. That’s incredible for those of you that don’t know. Now she does have her quirks like the interior lights due to rke module and the power locks (same issue) but unlike most vehicles, just pull one fuse and problem fixed; you just don’t have power locks (boo-hoo) It’s also loud on the interior when you pull the seat from the back and haul cargo. But good luck turning your civic into a pickup truck with more issues. Long story short this has now been the second longest lasting and most reliable vehicle I’ve owned aside from aforementioned truck that I had 10k$ Custom builds into. Now she’s been running myself wife and three kids (yes this car fits three car seats and weekends worth of camping gear) for a little over a year without any issues other then I’ve caused.
