Been reading some of the reviews about people who have trouble with their Pacifica. I bought a touring L plus 31/2 years ago and it’s been one of the best cars I’ve ever owned. Had one small problem with the sliding doors, showing me that I should wash sensor under car. Learned that all you have to do is pull a fuse under the hood and the signal on the dash goes away. Haven’t had that problem for over 30,000 miles. Runs great drives great and is comfortable. I don’t know what more I could ask. Most of the time 29 miles to the gallon on the highway or more. It is true that stop start won’t work if the batteries are bad or low I just replaced my batteries and now everything is fine again.

I bought my van new. It has 150k mikes and I have only had very minor issues with it. It has been a reliable source of transportation for me as I drive long distances several times a year. I particularly love the way the seats go into the floor. I have hauled so much stuff. I love my van.

We owned a 2019 Pacifica and traded it (with only 51,000 miles) for a 2023 Pacifica Pinnacle. We traded early because we didn't want a hybrid, yet. This one is Red and gasoline...beautiful. Having a wonderful time, enjoying all its luxuries.

Just recently purchased a Nissan Kicks at the Independence CarMax, we had previously purchased a Nissan Sentra {about 2 weeks prior) but we found it eventually getting into the vehicle difficult for the age as I am getting older (seventies in my case) the Kicks we have now is a wonderful vehicle. Rick Gross was our salesperson. He did a wonderful job explaining every aspect of our purchase. Matthew and Sharon handle the financial side of our purchase and also was clear on 30-day refund policy and purchase of our Kicks. I would highly recommend this CarMax in Independence; they took time to give us peace of mind on our new Nissan Kicks.

After driving my Pacifica Pinnacle for more than a year I must confess it is the best vehicle I have ever owned. The power and feel of this on the road is amazing and both interior and exterior has gotten so much compliments. Not to mention the fantastic gas savings running around town in EV.

This is my daily drive. Bought new in 2014 and have 93,000 miles. The car itself is gorgeous and looks sporty. For the time, this was luxury. Drives smooth, looks nice, interior has nice features, but in 2024 it is definitely 'dated' to say the least. No back up cameras, no drive assist or passing vehicle warnings, and no touch screen apps like the new vehicles have. But the heated seats work well, the AC is great, and it's fast and smooth. Don't get me wrong. I love my car. I've babied my car. The review of the vehicle is positive and I'd buy it again. But here are my complaints: 1. There is a huge delay between putting your foot down and getting those RPMs up. Response time is slow. This is definitely electronically intended. 2. For some reason, the window wipers fail. Been that way since day 1. Maybe this was a fault model. But it doesn't last long. Likely just a one off. 3. The battery and the serpentine belt are hidden behind the wheel well. It means you either have the tools and time at home, or you bring it into a shop. The design is ridiculous. 4. The spacers between the back windows deteriorate. I am not sure why its made of some different material than the rest of the exterior and window, but it's definitely a design flaw. Sadly, there arent many other vehicles, at least in 2024 that come close to the quality and design of the 2013 Chrysler 200 Limited with the same or similar price tag. Instead you're looking at vehicles 2-4x the price. I've enjoyed it a lot. I've received plenty of compliments over the years. Hopefully it will last me another 10 years. At 93,000 miles and now 12 years old, I've only had to replace the front rotors, the struts, and stabilizer bar.

My service advisor was excellent as was the quality of the work. GM's $200 charge for labor to replace a part I can buy for $20 is ridiculous. I would have been ok paying $200 to replace all four tire pressure sensors but not $200 EACH plus the super inflated part cost. I wish I could score the service separate from the pricing. Pricing would get one star.

The sliding doors stop locking and are very expensive to fix; otherwise, our Town and Country Touring van has provided a safecand very comfortable ride.

The first car/van I have purchased in 20 years. It is 3 years old with currently 50,000 miles. Have owned it now for 4 months. It is one of nicest and most equipped cars/vans that I have ever owned. Over the years I have owned 27 vehicles. The V6 engine has plenty of pick up. Also, very economical on gas. I am pleased with the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram dealership of Leesburg, Florida where I purchased it. Their sales and service department are outstanding. I recommend this van to anyone looking for a well equipped passenger van for the money.

This is my fifth Mopar van, three Town & Country models, two Dodge Grand Caravans. When it comes to vans, there are none made better than Chrysler's T&C and the Caravan. My first, a 99 Caravan, went 300,000 miles before having a transmission issue but the motor still ran flawlessly. My 2014 T&C gets a solid 27.8 mpg on the trips we have taken and no other issues have ever interrupted our travels. If I was a millionaire I would have an entire fleet of T&Cs, in every color available. I'd make sure all my friends had one and maybe my enemies too! Why they discontinued such a great model is just baffling!

I wanted to get a straight story on the economy on electric operation and gas miles per gallons. I measured my 2021 hybrid Pacifica. It takes 14kW-hrs of electrical energy to charge the battery. It will go about 30 miles with that charge. At $.25 a kilowatt hour it will cost $3.50 to charge the battery. Driving on just gas I get about 30 miles per gallon. Today that will cost about $5.

The Salesperson Made an Amazing Car Buying Experience We went to CarMax in Independence to look for a mid-sized SUV with relatively low mileage at a reasonable price, and we found what we were looking for. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple. The salesperson, Austin Hubbard, was a pleasure to work with. We were facing a very difficult personal situation that could have easily made the car buying experience extremely challenging and stressful. Austin was kind, patient and understanding throughout the entire process. From the moment he greeted us at the front door until the moment we drove away, Austin was there to provide help, guidance and even some words of encouragement. He more than once told us, “I have your back”, and his actions backed that up. I had a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (that I absolutely loved), but the lease was ending. Since that purchase, I have had two grandchildren, and though I could take them with me in the Ioniq, it was a tight squeeze (again, it was a GREAT car). I decided I needed something with more seating, which meant a three row SUV or a minivan. I was used to an all electric vehicle and wanted to get something that was at least hybrid. I honestly thought my days of a minivan were way behind me when my children got older so I was kind of dreading that option. The truth is I couldn't be happier. The mileage has been fantastic - I've been averaging about 50 mpg. Because the van is a plug-in hybrid, I drive a lot of local miles on all electric which helps immensely with the mileage. There is plenty of room for my kids (and their kids). Lots of places to plug in all of their devices. My wife's aunt told me that the back seats were incredibly comfortable as well. The only thing I wish it had were a few more amenities - but that is entirely my fault. I bought it used and picked up the first decently priced one I found. I should have waited a bit for one that was a bit more loaded, but again, that's on my, not the vehicle. The ride is incredibly smooth and the power is just fine for a minivan - obviously not what I was used to with the EV, but then I don't expect that. I'm enjoying driving in comfort and getting in and out is much more comfortable on my old back!
