Solid for a convertible. Goes surprisingly well in the snow and with the seats down can haul stuff. I have this as my only car and it is actually very practical. Plus, it’s just a joy to drive.

Powerful BMW engine so it's super fun to drive. It's super peppy and fast and I've never had any problems with anything (other than tires, thanks to CO's vicious potholes). Also very stylish and the ragtop is fun. Everyone loves this car! It's also nice to be able to just do a sunroof if I don't want to do the whole convertible option.

The difference between Skyline and larger dealerships is like night and day. After getting the run around with Madison Dealers I was lucky to find Skyline and Martin. I arrived and drove 2 cars, picked 1,a 2008 Acura TSX went into the shop and paperwork for taxes, registrations etc. was done at no cost. I gave Martin a check and drove home. Now 4 months later I have had zero issues with the Acura TSX and am extremely happy to have found Skyline. I recommend Skyline to anyone who wants a good, reasonably priced car, while dealing with an honest man.

I have been driving BMW since my first 320i in "79" I sold my 2004 645ci 6 speed with 123K miles for top dollar, & purchased this beauty. I love the way this car handles with the M & executive packages. The six cylinder with the single turbo has plenty of pep. The first day I put the temporary plates on it I had two different people approach me to inquire about the car. With only 25K miles on the odometer this Florida car rides like a brand new one. No more shifting which is delightful for my two new hips.....

On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. Cars, much like many other components of modern life, are showrooms for all the latest technology the modern consumer needs. In many ways this is great but at a certain point they lose their car-iness and become tools for abstracting the driver away from the driving itself. I would guess car manufacturers are responding to what the customers are asking for. But I fell in love with cars long ago not because their a tool or a means to an end. I like cars that are meant to be driven and that create a relationship between you and its interfaces. The E36 M3 is a performance car from an era where this relationship still mattered and this is part of why it lured me in in the first place. No WiFi, no Bluetooth, no color touch screen, no digital instrument cluster, no rear-view camera - mine doesn't even have a CD player. But BMW's iconic straight six engine mated to a five speed manual transmission is glorious to drive spiritedly and this is the reason I bought it. There isn't an abundance of assists getting in between you and the driving experience and correspondingly there are less electronic bits to go wrong. The E36 era of M3 is going on 20 years old - even for its youngest model - so a budget for maintenance is something to consider if this car is on your list of possibilities. There used to be chatter of a "$10k rule" on the enthusiast forums, meaning that regardless of whether you buy a $5k E36 M3 or a $8k E36 M3 you'll have to spend the difference between that and $10k to get it into reliable shape. Based on my experience that sounds about right. Problem areas are well documented on the enthusiast forums as are their solutions which make this platform alluring if you're interested in tackling DIY-level maintenance tasks yourself. The E36 M3 isn't for everyone but if you're after an unfiltered driving experience at a somewhat reasonable price it's a strong candidate. Going into it with proper expectations, ownership can be a gratifying experience.

The service was very good and everyone did their best to accommodate the process. For my job, I failed to get a written estimate and the verbal that I recalled was $880. When the work was finished the bill was $1000. I will return, but the next time, have an itemized estimate in writing. Dave Richmond

I've only had my 2020 Camaro SS 6 spd manual for about a month and I love it. I purchased it with very low mileage. I'm convinced the SS was made for me and that with all I have been through lately it was a well deserved way to end 2022.

I till own my white 2014 Jaguar conv. with V8 from new. The F Type is the most reliable Jaguar car as I only service at Jaguar-Land Rover in Ft Lauderdale Florida. With only 34,000 powerful miles still going strong

I've been a BMW fan for many years, and this 428i has not disappointed. It drives and handles just as it should, and the 4-cylinder turbocharged engine is excellent. The seatbelt 'presenters' do not work well, and the door pull handles melt in the Florida heat; other than those two little annoyances, this is an exceptional automobile.

I was initially looking for a used Golf, but the more I looked at the Beetle the more I liked it. When I found the one I ended up buying, it was love at first drive. This little car packs a punch with the 2.0T, and will throw you back in your seat. It’s an absolute blast to drive. Handles well around town and on the interstate, where it could easily get one in trouble since it wants to GO. The same engine as is found in the GTI, so this should be unsurprising. Easily gets 30+mpg on the highway when cruising along, typically around 20-25 city. These cars handle city driving just fine, but they are meant for the freeway in my opinion. I find the interior to be quite luxurious. Heated leather seats (not available in the Golf) with plenty of storage compartments. Not many frills, just a sleek and mostly practical dash. The trunk is big enough for grocery runs, and the rear seats fold forward for larger loads. It’s not going to haul large appliances or furniture, although it could possibly carry some bigger stuff on a roof rack. The Fender audio system is impressive, wouldn’t change a thing about it except it could benefit from an updated head unit with CarPlay. This hasn’t been an issue for me. I think the car is a real looker, it turns heads and has drawn the occasional compliment. My used model had some imperfections, but it’s still a great looking car that I want to look after and keep for as long as I can. It feels well built, the doors close with the satisfying weighty thud of a premium vehicle. Overall, I am very happy with my 2013 beetle. It’s not only fun, but it seems to be reliable with a couple caveats that some owners might not be aware of. The 2.0T engine is designed for premium fuel, using regular will eventually damage it. The 2.5 can run regular, but I believe the 1.8T will also want premium. The reason for this is lower octane fuel will cause detonation in these high compression engines. If you don’t know what detonation is, just know it’s bad. The oil needs changed more regularly than the manufacturer recommended 10k miles. 5k to be safe, 7k at a stretch. This is especially true for higher mileage vehicles. Speaking of stretch, there is a known issue with some 2.0T engines where the timing chain stretches over time and many miles, so if buying used that’s something I’d have a mechanic check out. This is an expensive maintenance item, but IF it’s needed, getting it done along with the tensioner and a new water pump for good measure will ensure that the new to you Beetle is reliable for many years and miles to come. The other issue is carbon build up. Getting it cleaned out is not as spendy as the timing chain but it’s also not a cheap fix. I believe this can largely be avoided by using top tier fuel (it contains detergents that help with this) as well as regular oil changes and some regular spirited driving. Would not recommend this car to someone who mainly does town or city driving, the 2.5 engine might be better suited for that. According to my research, the 2.5 is quite bulletproof BUT it’s not good for any engine to be driven at low RPM all the time.

The SVR F Type is one of the best all-around sports cars I've ever owned, and I have owned quite a few very nice sports cars. This car can do everything, drag race, track days, pleasure cruises, haul $400 worth of groceries with ease, and function as an extremely fun daily-driver with ease. It can even handle light snow and ice on the road with ease given it's British weather heritage and the exceptional AWD system it has. The only thing it cant do is haul more than two people. It is VERY fast from a dig with an excellent all-wheel drive system that squats and goes like a scalded cat. My car has been modified with some performance parts including custom-built 200-cell sport cats on resonated stainless steel downpipes, a smaller crank pulley to increase boost, and an ECU and TCU tune to take advantage of that additional power. It sits now with just under 600 wheel horsepower at the tires and is nearly unbeatable in a stoplight to stoplight race against 95% of the cars you will see on the road normally, including the all-electric Tesla models below the Plaid which is very impressive. Even before it was modified it was truly a fast car straight from the factory and stock. Power delivery is excellent but particularly once in the 3200 RPM range, where it feels like you have a pair of rocket boosters kicking in and it plants your butt in the seat hard. Fit with a set of B-Forged 3-piece wheels (21x11 rears and 21x9 fronts)and larger than stock Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (285/35ZR21 in the front and 325/25ZR21 in the rear) the handling is superb in this car. The 20" factory tires and wheels are great as well. It corners extremely well, rotating and accelerating out of corners like it is on rails. The electronic stability and traction control are NOT too invasive, and in Dynamic mode it will let you have all the fun you could want. The 575 crank horsepower rating on this car is definitely understated, as a factory car will dyno 500 to 520 HP AT THE TIRES despite an AWD system that takes about 18% percent of the engine's output to power. The standard larger brakes that come part of the SVR package are excellent and have all the stopping power you could want. The factory titanium exhaust is so much fun on this car and makes lots of ear-pleasing noise if you are a fan of exhaust notes, pops, and bangs. They can be swapped to a quite mode if you prefer or turned on to the louder mode whenever you choose. Swapping out the factory catalytics for the 200-cell sport cats with resonators made the exhaust note sheer perfection. As far the exterior goes, this is one of the most graceful and beautiful designs of all time IMO, as well as many others. It follows the classic proportions with a low sweeping hood and nose and powerful wide and compact rear with at four wheels located as close to the corners as possible. The interior is also beautiful, and despite not having a huge infotainment system, what it does have works well, looks good, and fits with the rest of the interior. The seats are comfortable but very supportive, and even at 6 foot 4 inches tall I fit in the car very comfortably. The top option stereo is a must and sounds great with the factory subwoofers and speakers. Reliability has been superb so far. A 2017 model that just turned 20k miles, the only repairs thus far have been a broken hood latch (which was mostly my fault) and a driver's rear shock which started leaking. Both of these repaired under warranty. All in all, this is a fantastic car and everyone that has ridden or driven mine has fallen in love with it. With only 1,871 SVR's built between 2017 and 2020 in the entire world, I have no doubt that resale value will hold steady and possibly appreciate in the near future as they get more and more exposure from enthusiasts. WARNING: Do not buy one if you do not like attention. I cant remember the last time I drove mine without at least one person asking about it.
