Auto Paddock is a breath of fresh air in the car-shopping space. It's casual, relaxed and personal -- very much like dealing with a private-party -- but it has the inventory, information and facilities of a dealership, all without any pressure or sales xx. Some big plusses of Auto Paddock: * very cool, knowledgeable, straightforward owners * nice inventory with many rarer-spec, enthusiast cars * reasonable prices better than the competition for similar models * low-stress vibe Since they're local to me, I visited them 3 times as I was considering a 911 they had for sale. Initially, the car wasn't ready because they had just gotten it in. The tires were too worn to do a proper test-drive but Sheldon (one of the owners) was completely accommodating and let me check it out on the lot. He also went over the things they found during intake of the car and outlined the maintenance they planned to perform to bring it up to spec. When it was ready, Sheldon let me test-drive the car on two different occasions because he wanted to have the PDK recalibrated (shifting was a little wonky on the first drive). He never displayed any pushiness or expectations, even letting me test-drive alone which allowed me to get a good feel for the car. It was almost like being with a fellow enthusiast at Cars and Coffee that was planning to sell their car and we were just hanging out trying to determine if this was the right fit. I really loved the car and was very close to buying it. But during the time it was receiving PDK recalibration, another 911 came along of a similar spec but rarer color combo with lower mileage. So I ultimately bought that one instead. But because of the excellent experience I had with Sheldon, I was torn and it was difficult to pass on their 911. I would highly recommend Auto Paddock. Sheldon and Tony (F & I person) were excellent to deal with. And although I didn't end up buying their 911, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them in the future, perhaps on a trade or maybe if they get in an F80 M3 that I like. Go check them out because they're awesome and have really differentiated themselves in the car-buying space.

My 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP currently is a reliable little sports car with lots of kick in terms of performance, especially considering it’s amazing turbo charger. 260 hp isn’t to bad either. Styling is ever eye catching with its 18 inch tires. It sits low outwardly as well as inwardly as a sports car should. Maintaining its regular maintenance and fluids will provide consistent quality performance. It's fast when you need it to be. The ride is comfortable, and steering is excellent for where you pint it, it will go there with no push back or fuss. Gas relies on premium which is acceptable for quality performance, but there is the base model which takes regular gas if your wallet seeks relief. Its colors are limited, but I suggest a car wrap for uniqueness individuality. Overall, the Solstice is a fun responsive sports car that you can find within your budget and after purchasing it, you can get reasonable affordable auto insurance coverage, especially if your are a Boomer with no tickets or accidents. These cars are approaching rare for you don’t see many on the roads and highways these days. Drop the top on a relatively good weather day and all eyes will be on you!!! MVB

The employees have been there for years. Marco, Miguel and Addie are always personable and helpful. Speaks well for the owner, right? He sets the atmosphere. After a negligent driver rear-ended my other car, I bought a 2022 Mustang GT Premium with the insurance money. I had a 1979 Mustang Cobra years ago and loved it. This is a great car, too. Fast, comfortable and beautiful. I haven't driven it in snow yet and have some trepidation about that but otherwise I'm glad I bought it. There are only three things I don't like: the car payment (who does?), the gas mileage, although I can get 30 mpg if I drive 58 mph, and there seems to be some high school kid at every stoplight who wants to race. This is definitely a car worth buying if you're an empty-nester, going through your mid-life crisis or single and don't have to haul much in your trunk.

Okay, not flexible on price. I would say sales guy was a little rude. Maybe he was sitting on something.

There is somewhat of a blind spot. I am having great difficulty making right turns or parking this car when I can’t see all the lines on the space. I’m a short statuted person so raising the seat more doesn’t seem to be an option.

IMO one of the most beautiful cars in and out. Has a stiff ride with great power. Many many control options from stereo to performance. Only drawback is not a lot of interior storage.

not the cheapest to maintain with a hydraulic top and suspension however it's a pleasure to drive and it makes you feel special which to me is worth the money I spend on it

Look around first so you understand that their prices can't be haggled but it is worth it. I couldn't find a single car within $1K of their price. And the quality of the car was outstanding. Easy. Great kid's corner keeps them occupied too. No pressure sales is a beautiful thing.

I purchased a 2020 BMW i3 from Horacio at Select Motors. It was a better car with a better price than anywhere else. I searched the whole country. Horacio is a no nonsense, straight to the point, high integrity person. He sets a fair price (to you and to him) and doesn't haggle. If you know what you want and he has it I highly recommend working with him. At one point I was trying to figure out how to go see the car in person (never did, bought it sight unseen based on the pictures and description) and he suggested I buy a local car. Imagine that! Someone not trying to sell a car. Our car is as good as we hoped it would be. If anything it's better. I would buy another car from him without hesitation. Drive this car if you are a driving enthusiast. Drive this car if you are a performance purist. The S was built for a single purpose: The sheer joy of spirited, performance driving. One can only drive it to understand truly all that's been written about this machine. It's all true. Two things I know for certain about the S: The car has limits that I am simply not good enough to reach. Secondly, I've parted with a whole lot of cars, but this one stays with me forever. I initially thought "my number" was $30K - I'd sell for $30K. Not anymore. I wouldn't part with my 2001 Indy/Spa Yellow S with 21,672 miles for any amount of money, ever. I love to drive and am pretty good at it and this is a driver's car if there ever was one to hold that title. Again, drive an S and you'll know. BUT, before you drive one, make sure you know how you will pay for it...as you will want to buy one. This is a race car when in the hands of someone who knows how to push a car like this. It is NOT for the novice driver. Take your mind off what you are doing and what you are driving and things can go sideways in a flash, yet this is exactly what makes this such a phenomenal performance machine. And know this: at 6,000 RPM, the car becomes a wide open thrill. Just be ready and if you are, the pure enjoyment is simply unmatched. All Hail the S...
