The mid-engine layout and a 3.2l Porsche flat six makes it super fun to drive. Over the 18 years of ownership my Boxter S also proved to be a extremely reliable. Can't beet this combination.

For what it's worth, I am in my 50s and have bought about 20 cars over my lifetime. I live in NY have bought cars online/remotely from FL, CA, UT, PA, OH and MA. I'm a particular fan of 1997-2001 Lexus ES 300s so I was very interested when a 2001 Lexus ES 300 showed up on Wheels Unlimited's website. The car listed at Wheels Unlimited had only 54k miles but the price was a bit higher than I wanted to pay (having purchased more than 8 of these cars over the past 15 years, I knew what a good price was and, like every customer, I was hoping to get a better deal than what was listed on the website). Like everyone else, I tried to find customer feedback wherever I could... google, yelp, cars.com, facebook, cargurus, you name it... The fact that the overwhelming customer feedback was so good was both encouraging but also caused concern that the results might have been "scrubbed" or manipulated. The only negative comments I saw were from customers who said that the dealership was asking too much and unwilling to come down on price (no idea how much reduction they were asking, just that they were displeased with the unwillingness of the dealership to accommodate). Almost all of the responses gave high praise to John Steffens and the dealership for reasonableness and ultimate satisfaction in the transaction. Cars were listed responsibly and accurately and the prices were consistent therewith. The asking price for the 2001 Lexus ES 300 that I was interested in was significantly higher than any of the figures I could find from Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds, NADA or any other online valuation tool. From an online perspective, pictures of the car looked immaculate and the overall condition was impeccable but I have had bad deals before. I called John and asked about the car and he told me it was excellent. I believed what he said because everything about him is very professional and honest, but was still a bit apprehensive because the car was more expensive than any of the others I purchased previously. Bottom-line is that although I was apprehensive in buying an older car without seeing it first-hand, I trusted John's description and the way he worked with me to accommodate my flight into Chicago and bus ride to Valparaiso. I've never been more delighted! The car was even better than John described - truly immaculate! John is an excellent salesman and I actually trust him completely. Not only would I do this deal 1000 times out of 1000, I would actually consider commissioning him to purchase other cars for me because he truly cares about the cars he sells and the folks to whom he sells them. The fact that he did not come down on price as much as I would have liked is not a negative, it's just quite reasonable because the cars are so good. I think that they spend time selecting only a few cars that they can represent with good conscience as opposed to flooding the lot and selling a poor product from time to time. The fact that they prescreen their offerings so conscientiously makes me want to buy from them again and again - unfortunately for me, 1997-2001 Lexus ES 300s like the one I got don't come around too often. To whatever extent such customer feedback can help you in your decision, know that I sincerely loved buying this car from John/Wheels Unlimited and am stating that I believe you can trust him/them as well. I was in and out in less than an Hour. Everyone was very pleasant, the paperwork was explained in detail. They allowed me to leave my other vehicle there until someone took me to pick it up. From the time I entered ti the time I left I felt very comfortable.

Under the rear seat it leaked water from the outside when driving in rainy conditions. I upgraded the stereo system and it was better for listening to music on the interstate and hi ways with the top down. I’m hoping to find another car soon.

These cars are very very reliable, the engine gives the driver of power over and stability over most other cars, the car is very quiet considering the 300 eye popping, seat of the pants performance, the E class makes you feel like a spell person, and you would be if you bought one today.

This car was super comfortable feels more like a sedan then a small car mileage was decent this is one of our favorite cars. Never had any mechanical issues.

I bought my 2004 325i in 2005 with about 20,000 km on it. It has been very reliable and has all the features I could want in a car. It's still running perfectly with about 275,000 km on it now. I do maintenance as recommended by the BMW club which includes some preventive maintenance. Repair costs have been about the same as other cars. If you are looking for a good used car, the 2003 to 2005 BMW 325i should be on your list.

Gone are the days of driving to the dealership to have your oil changed. I love that Webb Ford came to get my vehicle, showed me where they were en route, sent me texts where they were in the process, and returned my vehicle quickly. Absolutely worth it to me in my busy schedule. Awesome place.

I bought this car as the baseis of a new hobby build. It had the performance options I wanted and was an automatic. Two items the dealer failed to disclose were worn tires and two curb checked wheels.

So I owned my 2007 Miata for one year and two months until someone hit it when it was parked, and it got totaled. I bought it for $7000 and it had 213000 miles on it. The first year I spent around $1500 on repairs, maybe this number is so high because I wanted to take care of it well and others don't care to repair something immediately when it needs to be repaired. I also did all repairs with my dad so labor costs were not an issue. I talked to many friends who have cars like mustangs, enclaves and maximas and they pretty much all spent under 1,000 on repairs in the first year (they spent an average of like 400-500). Their cars ranged in years and miles. I assume the high milage on this car made the more frequent repairs needed. Anyway I loved this car gas milage was good and there was a few leaks like the rear brake light needed new gaskets under it. Great car but I feel like I was cheated a bit.

The “experts” say it is heavy. It is, but some right foot snaps away that illusion. They squabble about “dead steering” and brakes that are a bit numb. But If you toss it into a turn or need to stop it , be assured it will perform with aplomb, without the fussy twitching of a boy-racer. All cars, even ones with $100,000+ price tags, are compromises between performance and comfort, nimbleness and stability. This car is not aimed at a testosterone-fueled owner clawing up the ladder, but rather a confident owner that needs to prove nothing other than to show up. And for me, that makes this car the perfect compromise. It never fails to bring a smile. Few machines provide this level of comfort, performance, and design quality. And if a machine can bring joy along with performance, hasn’t really done its job In a spectacular way?
