Used convertibles for sale near Lantana, TX under $9,000

We drove over 100 miles to get to Carricks becaus they were on of a few dealers which had the one year, make and model that I was seeking. The car was just as advertised, clean and ready to drive. Thanks James Taylor for great service.

Just traded mine in on a newer BMW. I believe the dealer sold it within 3 days. Never had trouble with it and for the price they sold it, I believe it?s an EXCELLENT bang for the buck. A very fun car to drive with lots of power. Handling was unbelievably good. I never took it to the racetrack but I believe its handling was good enough that it could beat cars with more horsepower. If you have under $20k to spend on a car but want something to throw you back into your seat, I don?t think you could go wrong with a 135. Especially a drop top.

Went in just to browse and see what they had. Didn’t buy anything this time, but the salesman was friendly and easy to talk to. No pushy sales stuff, which I really appreciate. Might swing back when I’m ready for a car.

Fiat didn't market the 500 correctly. I had a 500 Sport manual that I bought new. It is amazingly fun to drive, incredibly fuel efficient (37+ mpg at a minimum) and a ton of room when you fold the seats down. I went from a Porsche 911 turbo as my daily driver to the cinquecento (500 in Italian). The Fiat was more fun to drive basically because you could floor it everywhere and when I'd look at the speedometer I'd be going 52 mph! In the Porsche I'd be going 130. I drove it multiple times over a thousand miles in a day. Seats were comfortable, sat radio, and Beats sound system rocked. I sold it and bought an i3. Never had a problem with the Fiat. Inexpensive to maintain and the Fiat dealer was great for service. Fun to drive, utilitarian, and great gas mileage. I wish I still had it. If I had a giant garage, I would have kept it.

I contacted them on a Friday night about an F150 that I really liked. Not even 12 hours later, I was leaving the parking lot with it! I could not have asked for a better experience. The 5 hour drive was well worth it.

I love the look both outside and inside! For me it has more than enough speed. I can easily go 80 to overtake a vehicle on the freeway, which is plenty enough for me. I'm not on a race track. I'm surprised at how features it has on the inside. I'm thinking of replacing the shocks for a more comfortable ride, but other than that, I'm very satisfied!

Almost glad I broke down so I could meet some of the most friendliest people on the planet, if everybody gave service like that, they would be a lot more smiles around. Thank you very much for your kind polite service. The only shame is they don’t have 10 stars to give you.

When on the lookout for a 1986-1987 xj6, I came across 2004 xk8 convertible, black on black 55k miles, rust-proofed, from Florida. Selling for $10k, the price was competitive w/the older xj6, but newer. (That’s good & bad.) I bought for $9k! + $1,100 enclosed shipping (@2700 mi.) The looks hints at Maserati, BMW, other Brit autos. The GOOD: Engine Performance, Speed, smooth, tight, true pin point, handling, has the looks, comfortable ride, LOVES going 90 mph on highway, no gasket or other leaks. The BAD: ‘O2 sensors’, other sensors (engine coolant sensor, engine sensor) Seems there’s always a bad sensor turning up, cd player in trunk not working, parts usually expense - ONE 10” alum. tube to a/c $235 new. Conv. Roof & rear windows not operating (cleaning contacts under the roof operation button under J-Gate fixed that. Soda, dirt, dust gets in from the shift slots.) Two mechanics couldn't figure it out. An Auto/boat Upholstery shop cured the riddle.), a/c quit at 60k mi., repaid will run @ total $900 four parts, 4 hrs. labor, Freon. Waiting for parts to arrive, I took a quick 1.5 hr. jaunt to the Poconos to see a couple bands, Fri. & Sat. No a/c in June, I lowered the windows, all was well, arrive at hotel, go to put up windows, I was dismayed rear windows were still down… and STILL down tight now. This is the 2nd time in 3 yrs. this occurred. I don’t drive the car that much, no winters. So, reoccurring bad O2 /sensors, rear windows again, a/c problems is said to be normal. The xk8 uses a LOT of battery. It has a large battery. Ez for one to die, $160 new. I love the car, but if another repair comes SOON, I may have to let her go. (I NEVER had these episodes, problems with the ‘86 xj6.)

Great experience overall, and Mike (owner) was very nice. Saw the car on cars.com, called, came in, liked the vehicle and ended up buying it. Wasn't pushed into anything, felt pretty good about the deal I was getting. The car wasn't perfect, but it was in great condition and above everything else I've seen for the price. Would definitely recommend, but do your market research.

This car has been a ton of fun to own. I searched far and wide to find a 128i couple in dark gray, with navigation. Patience paid off and I found the one I currently own several months later, and it has been an absolute showstopper. I am constantly getting compliments on this car, even though it is now seven years old. It is aging very gracefully and has not been hard to maintain. Highly recommend.

You don't find quick service like at McAndrews. So glad that DeMeon was my sales person! He answered all my questions and made sure all documentation was ready to go when I arrived. I have an old Corvette that I was driving too much so I bought a 2001 Audi TT Quattro 6-speed all original. So cool , I feel like I own a Porsche .turbo is loud. The car is futuristic looking inside and out. I will never sell it. My son will have to. It belongs in a museum, the silver one, the original Audi TT coupe

My 2001 SLK 320 is a great car, it's fast,dependable , gets good gas mileage, looks and looks great. I get a lot of compliments daily, for being over 20 years old that's saying a lot.

All in all it has been a great car and I have owned it since 11K, now almost 200K. Winter stored so no rust, I have driven it like a sports car and it has never let me down. 3 issues over 18 years. #1 was drivers side window motor (EZ replacement) #2. I've blown both front speakers, #3. One bearing let go in the rear end. It still has all the original bulbs even and only the second set of brakes, original clutch, exhaust still looks new underneath (about 8 sets of tires though). It is a pewter, 6 speed LS1 SS model Convertible and a rare sight. I've never seen one like it.

So I owned my 2007 Miata for one year and two months until someone hit it when it was parked, and it got totaled. I bought it for $7000 and it had 213000 miles on it. The first year I spent around $1500 on repairs, maybe this number is so high because I wanted to take care of it well and others don't care to repair something immediately when it needs to be repaired. I also did all repairs with my dad so labor costs were not an issue. I talked to many friends who have cars like mustangs, enclaves and maximas and they pretty much all spent under 1,000 on repairs in the first year (they spent an average of like 400-500). Their cars ranged in years and miles. I assume the high milage on this car made the more frequent repairs needed. Anyway I loved this car gas milage was good and there was a few leaks like the rear brake light needed new gaskets under it. Great car but I feel like I was cheated a bit.

Easy and Smooth transaction. Car was in pristine condition. There wasn’t much haggling on the price, their adds are pretty decent compared to the other dealerships I went to.

The car has the same engine as the Nissan 370z and is actually faster in a straight line even though it was 2 extra seats. Has an amazing exhaust sound and you can get a bit of wheel spin out of the car with it's 330 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Overall it's a luxurious, fun, and quick car with aftermarket potential if you're into that.

I had been looking for months for a 2088 Lincoln Navigator. Auto Place had the one i was looking for. Chocolate White, fully loaded and under 100k miles. After riding motorcycles for 56 years, at 66, I bought a 2010 Miata MX5 GT with soft top and 6 speed auto/manual. Weighing 175 lbs. puts the car with equal weight on all 4 wheels. This is the most fun car I’ve owned. My grandson will get it when I kick the bucket. I’ll be hanging on to it as long as I can.

I was seeking a car, saw one on-line. He showed it to me. I told him I was looking for a car with a bigger engine to drive cross country. He suggested a Lexus with low mileage. It looked great. I came back with the wife for a test drive. Loved the pick-up, acceleration of the car, and very smooth ride. I took it to my mechanic,  who bought four cars from DFW Auto Mill - that's an excellent testimony. The mechanic approved of the car. Needless to say, I paid for the car then and there. I had the mechanic service the car to start out on a clean slate, new car battery, synthetic oil, new tires, fresh wiper blades. I've been to Arizona and back, no issues. Highly recommended. It's always pleasure to work with professionals 

This car is fast, fun to drive, has a hard top convertible roof and doesn't cost an arm and a leg to change the oil! It is solid well built will last forever. It is a fun car to own.

I originally spoke to Ricky, who was quick, knowledgeable and accommodating. I could tell when dealing with him that he was genuine and honest, and I had no problems placing my faith in what he was telling me about their stock. When I showed interest in a vehicle, he suggested I take it for a spin which I did. When I got back he was busy with another customer and Angel took over for him in assisting me with my questions. Angel was very knowledgeable about the vehicles as welll, encouraging me to take other test drives. I think 2011 through 2014 is the same body style my car is a 2013 I absolutely love it it's never let me down I have $405,000 miles on it it has the four-cylinder which this editor found short of horsepower but I have plenty of horsepower I think to get up and go is superb with my 4 cylinder 2.4 and 6-speed automatic transmission I have topped the car out and it will go as fast as speedometer says and I enjoy the gas mileage of between 31 and 42 miles a gallon, the only thing I will say is this body style does not throw enough Heat on the passenger side so if you have kids or passengers this is not the care for you my car is a work car I drive back for it to work or anywhere else but I do not drive passengers in it in the winter I would recommend a 12-volt heater for the passenger side in the winter because of the design

Paint job have held up well. Interior is still like near with exception of a little hole beginning to appear on driver seat. Nice clean sporty car

My first car was a 67 mustang fastback. I loved this car and I was 18 and in the military. I'm now 70 and found a 2010 mustang bright red. I was in love all over again! Now driving this car I feel nostalgia all over again!!

Alex at Rite Auto was great showed us the Cadillac Escalade and made the process easy.

The straps that hold seat belts on top of seat have both failed. I bought the car after it was confiscated from a drug dealer in the Greater Cincinnati Ohio area. So it had some rough treatment. The driver side seat back has wear in the first panel. I think it was from Cops using it for under cover. Their guns and other equipment destroys drivers seats on patrol cars. But the car is a frigging rocket.
