I've owned my Mustang LX 5.0l L Coupe since new and have recently put a turbo into it and it now makes almost 600 RWHP and as a road course race vehicle, it's been amazing for the money that I paid for it! I absolutely love this car and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a fast car with little braking and terrible steering as well, if you want to compete well, you'll be having to work aggressively to make it to that point of winning races, but if you want to just create, then you don't need to do much!;

My 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP currently is a reliable little sports car with lots of kick in terms of performance, especially considering it’s amazing turbo charger. 260 hp isn’t to bad either. Styling is ever eye catching with its 18 inch tires. It sits low outwardly as well as inwardly as a sports car should. Maintaining its regular maintenance and fluids will provide consistent quality performance. It's fast when you need it to be. The ride is comfortable, and steering is excellent for where you pint it, it will go there with no push back or fuss. Gas relies on premium which is acceptable for quality performance, but there is the base model which takes regular gas if your wallet seeks relief. Its colors are limited, but I suggest a car wrap for uniqueness individuality. Overall, the Solstice is a fun responsive sports car that you can find within your budget and after purchasing it, you can get reasonable affordable auto insurance coverage, especially if your are a Boomer with no tickets or accidents. These cars are approaching rare for you don’t see many on the roads and highways these days. Drop the top on a relatively good weather day and all eyes will be on you!!! MVB

The straps that hold seat belts on top of seat have both failed. I bought the car after it was confiscated from a drug dealer in the Greater Cincinnati Ohio area. So it had some rough treatment. The driver side seat back has wear in the first panel. I think it was from Cops using it for under cover. Their guns and other equipment destroys drivers seats on patrol cars. But the car is a frigging rocket.

While getting groceries out of my car, My trunk came down on my head (C-300, 2017). Sometimes trunk opens after I lock the car. This is dangerous. What is the problem?

I was really apprehensive about buying a car sight unseen and from a stranger with the fraud schemes that happen all the time but I talked myself into it. The customer service was fantastic, the car is immaculate and everything they said it would be!! Thanks guys for restoring my faith in humanity. I bought 07 in 2013 for $9K. I’m 6’2” and don’t have any problems getting and out except with a hat on and cowboy boots. It’s an automatic transmission. I had racing stripes painted on it because they all look the same. I’ve often thought I’d wished I’d bought the GXP with the std shift with turbo but I think my left leg would hit the steering wheel shifting. Mine has 110K miles on it. I’ve enjoyed every minute of it, it sticks to the road at any speed and holds curves so well that no other car can. The cons are they the interior is all hard plastics, so for a long trip you’ll feel every crevice and wish for a softer interior. The cup holder for the driver on the transmission mound when alone is crap and will jam and not close, don’t use it, it will fail. Mechanically the automatic transmission has a sealed transmission and should have had a recall, because within 50K miles it shifts real hard on the downshift. Have a trusted mechanic check the transmission fluid level, even though there isn’t a stick the mechanic can add fluid. I spent over a grand paying for an ECM replaced that controls the transmission and later found out it was only low fluid. You’ll get all kinds of advice and most will be wrong. I’m having a new top put in it, the only thing that shows it’s wear. Overall, it’s been a very dependable car, like all cars needs regular maintenance but so so much fun to drive.

Just sold mine after owning it for eight plus years. While I loved the looks of the SLK and I did enjoy owning and driving it, I was never that crazy about the spartan interior. For a Mercedes that cost $40K new, I thought it was rather plain Jane. I also wasn't happy with things like the door panels delaminating, the dash finish scaling off and probably most of all, the dang roof...I expected better from a Mercedes Benz. The roof went kaput three times while I owned the car and I got sick of the bother and the cost to deal with it. I would have also hoped it would hold its value better. I sold it rather cheap despite having put thousands into it. It's a cool little hardtop convertible but if you buy one, beware...be prepared to sink some $ into it.

2024 Stingray Z51 Convertible. Great buying experience and no issues in 7 months and 5K miles. Great features and and runs great with better than expected fuel mileage. Just a couple Cons - Run flat summer tires are somewhat noisy and not offered with adaptive cruise.

This was my 5th BMW but my first 6 Series and clearly the most fun car I have ever owned. I bought my 2007 650 Convertible pre-owned (1 previous owner) with 19K miles in 2010. Here I am over 13 years later and at 225K miles (yes, you are reading that right)... and still in love. I have taken very good care of it and did do an engine replacement a few years ago at 180K miles with a preowned engine because of the smoke exhaust, but was well worth it because I was not nearly ready to let this car go. At the time I believed that was either going to end up being the worst decision I have ever made...or the best. Feeling good about that $8K right now because the car is truly a joy to drive and rides like new. One caution: the run flat tires are VERY fragile and VERY expensive (over $500 per tire). If you are buying this car from a dealer I highly recommend purchasing the BMW wheel and tire warranty program or plan on replacing those tires with a quality non-run flat tire. Magnificent styling with great lines and a quality ride. Have fun!

I just purchased my second red 2007 5 speed GXP in February with only 14,000 miles on it because I loved the 1st one I owned from 2016 to 2018, but had to sell due to my wife's health problems. I'm 79 years old and this is my 11th convertible and the fastest car I have ever owned. 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. I love this car because it makes me feel like a teenager again whenever I get behind the wheel and go cruising. I took her to two any year car shows this summer and won trophies at both of them. I have more fun driving this car than my red 1972 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible and will keep it in it's perfect condition to pass onto my children when I turn 95. Values are starting to creep higher on these Solstices so try and pick one up in the winter months when demand is not as high as in the spring and summer. I have never seen as many positive reviews on any car on this site as I have on the Pontiac Solstice. As of 2007 the GXP turbo charged version of the Solstice put out more horsepower per cubic inch of displacement than any other car GM had ever sold to the general public up until that time.
