This car is like driving a go cart, for real. It’s got a lot of zip and handles really well. You certainly feel the bumps in the road. But I expect that in this little hot hatch. Plus it’s in pretty great shape for a 19 year old car. I look forward to bringing it as close to original as I can.

With 97,000 + miles i think my 2013 500c has proven to be a good and fun car. This car has required no major repairs only regular maintenance. (I do use synthetic oil). I have driven from northwest Georgia to Texas several times also to St Louis and a couple of runs skipping around Florida. It does just fine on a road trip and is easy on gas. I love this little car.

I have had convertibles since 1975. 68 Camaro, 76 Jeep CJ5, 92 Chrysler LeBaron GTS, 96 BMW 328iC, 06 Pontiac Solstice and now the 12 BMW 128i. Retired in 2017 and had to feed the desire for another convertible in 2019 and the 128i ticked all the boxes for my current desires. Fit and reliability. At 6'1" I don't fit into a MX5, so that's the 1st two check offs. RWD, so no Audi, A4 FWD in my price range. Six cylinder preferably straight 6 for perfect engine balance. Nissan 350/370 are ugly chops. Then the exotics(shut up Porsche boys) were too expensive for repairs. I learned "basic" repairs on the E36. I have done many easy maintenance jobs in my garage that allows me to have this Touring car. As a touring car having a back seat is great for a cooler, backpack, and doggy space. With the trunk space (2X) of MX5 this makes a great touring car for weeks on the road. 230hp for a car this small is great for ripping through the Rockies and the Twisted Sisters outside of Fredericksburg of Texas.

Still turning heads after nearly 20 years. People often ask if I would sell it even though it's not for sale. The automated convertible top is easy (I have had others that were not), and low profile wheels are stylish and finding parking ANYWHERE is a breeze. My Toyota convertible was a 2-seater and having a back seat is amazingly convenient for a girls night out or just cruising. This car loves the sunshine but it has also seen some snow with no issues. This car lives up to its reputation...fun ! I can't believe car collector's heve yet to jump on this..but they will !! I bought mine used in 2020 w/25k miles on it. I plan to keep it in the family long after I fly up ! Lol My two son's promised to keep it and protect it on our 3rd generation family compond. This is headed to be a collector's dream. For those considering the purchase of a '74 Vette, the most important consideration is if you are actually seeking a performance car, then this is a very poor choice for you. Even though this model year was the last before the introduction of catalytic converters, street performance is abysmal at best. The base engine (and most common available) gives you 195 HP and a zero to sixty time of around 8.9 seconds. To put that into contemporary standards, that 0-60 time is identical to a base 2025 Nissan Sentra. In other words, virtually any contemporary car is absolutely going to scorch you at stoplights. If you buy an older Vette, you either have to go back in time to get sports car speed, or forward in time to at least the mid to later eighties. That's the bad news. The good news is that if you want a car with stunning, sports car styling, and a car that's a reliable street cruiser, then this is a car that should go to the top of your list. These cars are bargains today- probably because the performance is so abysmal. The interior of the car is a tight fit, and this is true especially of the narrow foot area. For many, myself included, I find this to be a positive. It fits like a very comfortable glove. I currently own one of these, and it's my second. Despite the performance I love it as a comfortable street or highway cruiser. So if you can live with the performance issues seriously consider this car.

We sold our silver SLE in excellent conditions with just over 300K miles. I am certain it still has a long life ahead of it. It remains one of the most favorite cars we have owned. Over the years we took it on 5 cross country trips and it never missed a beat. Pros: *Absolutely reliable. *Huge trunk for a convertible, especially with the top down vs. other cars. * Looks have held up very well. * Decent highway mileage. * SLE has heated seats, cruise control, etc. Cons: None. Buying a used SLE today and then spending an extra ~$1000 to put in a very good audio/nav system with android auto/Carplay, review camera would make for a terrific car.

Very easy process. Omar was very helpful and patient. I did not feel pressured at all. Ended up buying a great car at a reasonable price. I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

I would only recommend this care for those who are willing to work on it and are okay with it breaking down. This care is nearly 40 years old (as of this review) and most of them with low miles sit and when driven the problems begin to bubble to the surface. So if you are unwilling to need to work on it but still want a corvette my suggestion is to get a c6 or newer.

Holy crap....2014 S5 auto very addicting and makes u smile the entire time ur driving. Very quick around town roads. The launch control is remarkable as I never have been beat from cars with more horsepower from a dig. My car ran to 60mph stock and with 105000 miles in 4.6 seconds and 1/4 was 13.1 at 105 mph this was tested my a speed tester box. Weekness is anything over 70 mph to the floor not as quick feeling. Also top end before speed limiter came on was 159. Car will do 175 if removed.

I started with the A5 cabriolet had many issue free miles (aside from recall issues which Audi was fantastic on correcting) . From day one my wife said I should have spent the extra and went for the S5 , so after 7 years and 80k miles I found the car of my dreams.in Dec of 2021 I purchased a 2011 S5 prestige with only 32k. This car is a whole different animal. The supercharged 6 is powerful and responsive and it makes even going to the store into a treat . Take the top down one the music up WOW is all I think of. Buying a low mile highly optioned S5 from Audi was the only way to go. The car is the best of all worlds as long as your not taking a group for a long trip( back seat is good but let’s be honest rear seat passengers weren’t Audis market with this one.
