I recently purchased a QX60 for my partner and I brought my G37 in for trade-in. This car has 122000 miles on it and has barely even sniffled. The body needs some panels replaced because it’s been driven by me, my parter and 3 teenagers. The INFINITI dealer offered me $2500 for it in trade. I procrastinated closing the deal. I was reluctant to tell my partner that I just couldn’t part with it for that amount of money. Ultimately I came clean to her. Surprisingly, she agreed, completely. We are going to get the cosmetic things done and keep it around. For a “sedan” it has all the “sports car” in it that a 61 year old needs. I’ve been shopping for cars lately and I can honestly use the old saying, “they don’t make ‘em like this anymore”!

I was looking for a very specific car; year, model, color, trim and found about 10 available in the country and none in my state. After a couple bad experiences I found the car at Goldies. I could not have been happier with the experience. I worked with Adam and John who were responsive, even given the time zone difference (often replying to questions well before or after local hours), helpful and best of all for an inexperienced long-distance shopper, familiar with that process and made it easy and anxiety-free for me. They even coordinated shipping, which also went smooth. Best of all, they continued to be supportive after I had received the vehicle in terms of title and registration support where it would have been very easy to just move onto the next sale. I hunted the entire country for my SE S5 Prestige Cabriolet Convertible. I had purchased one in Miami, but it was so popular that the dealer re-sold it for an even higher price and issued a refund. The overall design of the car is stunning & the features are everything a Handicapped driver could ever wish for. With the exception of braking; All the controls are right on the steering wheel. During my search, I found 2 for sale in the entire country. 1 was up North in Michigan (snow, ice, & road salt territory) and the other was in Houston Texas. I had it shipped to a local business just off the interstate, where I got my 1st ride in my last car As I do with every vehicle, I made my 10 year old car look like a 3 year old with a change to the newer RS rims, black drilled & slotted rotors and all black chrome emblems. I have made it a sleeper by toning down the flashy appearance but it still draws compliments everywhere I go. The features like the blind spot detection, automatic stabilization, 7 speed dual S-tronic transmission allows incredibly fast shifting or automatic if desired, while alerting you to other cars that are close, or if there is a change in the road conditions. The rear view camera with park assist makes it easy to back up with instant alerts if something enters the area behind. The top can be lowered and raise with the key fob or windows can be opened or closed without even getting in the car. with the top down, there is still plenty of trunk space, and the noise level has been designed to be minimal interference to conversation or music. Handling is a dream and it can be driven with one finger at 100 mph which is unbelievably easy to do without trying. There are 2 things that lowered the reliability rating that, in my opinion, should have been corrected. The harmonic balancer & main dive pulley are 2 pieces, bonded together with rubber. When it comes apart, it shreds the accessory belt and appears to be a clutch pulley to the (even seasoned) mechanic. It still provides plenty of torque to avoid throwing any error code, but it will shred belts until it is replaced, That belt is behind the belt for the turbocharger and the is no clearance between the radiator and the tensioner adjustments to change the belt, unless you put the front end of the car in service mode. The other setback is in the turbocharger iself. The inter-cooler elements themself can crack and leak coolant into he rear cylinders causing a low coolant condition with no evidence of a leak anywhere (mimics a bad head gasket). it would be nice if these 2 crippling conditions were made a little more well known to improve dependability and save a ton of money getting unneeded replacement parts. Overall however; this is the only car that came stock, with all the features I ever wanted and then a couple more. The governor comes on at 165 mph while the speedometer goes to 200 and it is clear that there is more power available. If you were to get racing tires, the computer will remove that limit. I've driven 1000 cars & owned 50 or more & this one is tippy top dog. It is a ton of fun and though plain, remains very attractive and catches everyone's eyes.

Owned a corvette, a viper, the 911 and the boxster. I’d say the boxster s was a bit more fun to drive, and like both porsches equally for different reasons. Test drove BMWs on multiple occasions, never liked any of them. Test drove a couple of ferraris, a bit too small and expensive. Same for the NSX. Bought it 2 years old and got a great price. The targa 4s that I currently have, has some nice 911 features, including the large retractable roof, and the pop up rear window, for easy access to the back seat.

I just purchased a base 2009 3LT Corvette. The car is stylish and a blast to drive. It is rock solid in the turns and rides exceptionally well. The acceleration and handling are, without a doubt, beyond great for a base model car. I'm 6'5 and fit very comfortably behind the wheel. It will be hard to find an American made sports car this good at such a very affordable price?

I had my 2004 for 10 years. Great car and performance. At 6'2" the C5 provides me with comfort which its predecessors do not. Only issues have been the ignition switch a common problem which I changed out fairly easily, and the climate control lighting which I fixed by resoldering the board.

The E92 BMW M3 competition introduced in 2011 is a magical sweet spot in sports cars and the M lineup in particular. THREE circles overlap. ONE. The S65 engine is bespoke, only introduced in the 2008-2013 model. The normally aspirated 4.0L V8 weighs less than the inline 6 it replaces from the E46 and revs to 8300 rpm with 100 more hp. Literally the international engine of the year during every year of its production. Importantly it has no turbos. 8 separate throttle bodies, and a lightweight fly wheel. It will teach you what throttle response really means and overlaps with.. TWO. In the ZCP competition variant of the E92 this mates with a Getrag dual clutch. A manual lover, this made me switch religion. Odd/even transmissions and millisecond shifts with no gap in power pair perfectly with the race revving v8. And THREE.. sublime MDM traction control. All newer M models with turbo engines and comparatively sluggish throttle response include this. This is the final overlap. Instant throttle plus instant transmission plus instant handling equals the car dancing in and out of its performance envelope like a trained show dog. Buy one and good luck. I have several Ms. Not selling this one. Oh.. Minuses: Eats expensive tires like popcorn, sell your clutch foot to pay for brake platters. Head gaskets ooze around the 100k range. Worth it.

I purchased my BMW Z-3 (6-liter engine) when it was brand new, 1998. It is the BEST car I have ever owned. (I've had Mercedes Benz, Thunderbirds, Corvettes in the past.) This baby is now 25 years old, and has 71,000 miles on it. I bought the hardtop for it, and keep it on the car all the time now. (Too much trouble to take off and put it on the rack in the garage.) Very few repairs were needed in the past, and I've had the oil changed, etc. every year, purchased new tires like the original Michelins, and kept this car garaged. I also purchased a BMW luggage rack, and a BMW hard suitcase that snaps onto the rack, because the trunk is small. I am a small woman ("ole lady now") and this car has been perfect for everything from long road trips, to maneuvering around town into tight parking spaces. It is classic black, and I STILL get compliments on it every single day!!! No, it is not for sale.

I needed to make a car purchase decision quickly because my previous car was destroyed in an accident. I wasn't thinking of a Mercedes but I could not find the right car in the other brands I was considering. I located a low-mileage CLS450 and was shown the car by Remington Logue. I liked the car and found Remington to be very easy to work with. Also, Zach Hill did a great job explaining the workings of the car to my wife and me. I don't usually buy extended warranties and pre-paid maintenance programs but, in this case, it fit my circumstances to do so. If my future service experiences measure up to my purchase, I will feel that this is one of my best car-buying experiences.

Awesome power, incredible braking, unbelievable handling and a fantastic exhaust note!!!! This car is absolutely amazing! The interior is gorgeous and the seats are incredibly comfortable. The Burmeister sound system is terrific. I never want to get out of the car. If you can’t ever seem to get enough power, it’s worth the money to get the SL63’s engine over the SL55. The extra 100+ horsepower gives you an experience you won’t believe.
