The Mercedes CLK 430 Cab is one enjoyable experience that I wish other could experience. The car with the V8 has enough power and features to be enjoyable throughout the year. Maintenance is easy for a DIY, and if you limit your visits to the dealership the cost of upkeep is reasonable.

This was my first Audi and it has been a reliable, well built car in the 11 years I have owned it. It has an eye catching design and with the 3.2 liter engine, it is very fast and holds the road well. Also, Audi designed a "rumble" to the exhaust system which adds to the experience. I also like driving it in "sport" mode which means the engine goes to higher rpm's before shifting.

Recently purchased 2008 C70 T-5 with only 51K miles from 1st Choice Auto in Fairfax VA. Excellent condition, very tight engine and on-road performance. Turbo acceleration is great. Excellent Carfax. No accident and interior is a 9.5/10. Top rises and closes perfectly and car is built like a brick with ROPS (roll-over protection). I've only had it for a few days but I am very impressed with its overall quality, comfort and performance. Saab stopped making cars in 2012 because they could not compete with their Audi and Mercedes target market. Having owned both of those German brands, I think Saab approaches them in quality. Khalid is good, but Tyson Mercedes is greedy. Khalid wore a sharp tailored suit which is unheard of in the dealerships where I am from. He was very professional, pointing out flaws in the paint he offered to fix before I could point out the ones I saw. He respected my time which was less than ideal for making a purchase today. We made a handshake on a good deal, but it's been over 6 hours and I still haven't seen my "deal" in writing with an out the door quote. As far as Tyson Mercedes, the vehicle which was just "front end aligned" last week had one tire about 5-6 pounds low, and this was not noticed with the yellow light on the dash when it was pulled around for me earlier in the day. The test drive was not safe to conduct other than around the corner and back at slow speed, so I have no idea how it really handles. The biggest issue I have is the dealership assessing a "non-negotiable" sky-high processing fee which is nearly $1000, probably among the highest in Virginia. It doesn't cost $1000 for the 15 minutes of work it takes to process the sale and send the documents to DMV, etc. If they want this kind of fee, they should be selling vehicles $1000 below market value, and not even bothering marking them up $3000 over market value! Be prepared to negotiate $3000-4000 down just to get to the market price on a used vehicle! After you get to market price, make them take off some of the $1000 processing fee from the sale price or walk off the lot and go buy the same thing from another dealer who only charges $500 or less in processing fees. If it's taxable, it's negotiable! Do your research and use online tools to know the market value before you visit any dealership!

Paint job have held up well. Interior is still like near with exception of a little hole beginning to appear on driver seat. Nice clean sporty car

Generally people start out by saying they are expensive to maintain, just don't go to the dealership. In every City there is someone who specializes in BMW older models. 2500 miles is oil change time, not 5000 miles like dealership will tell you. I strongly believe the reason they tell you that is something will go wrong and you will be right back in there to fix a $3000 repair that normally would cost you $75 elsewhere, As this happened to me. At 100,000 miles, whether it needs it or not, REPLACE "VISA VALVE". This part sits on the side of the motor right at the oil stick. There's a light rattle sometimes when I start the car, then goes away. When it got bad enough, check engine light came on, it stopped in its tracks. It took my son one minute to take off 3 screws and replace. The part was $59.00 on Amazon! Dealership wanted $500 for the part and $300 to put it on. Car is good as new.

I purchased the car at the end of 2022 and the car so far has been great. I’m trying to reserve mileage because the car already has high mileage but already put around 2000 miles on it and the car runs like a charm with no problems.

This car is fun to drive! I had always wanted a convertible so for my 65th birthday I got one. Coming back from the DMV on the interstate, running about 75 miles an hour with the Bose stereo turned up loud I commented to my husband that I felt like I was 18 years old all over again. Tight legroom in back seat but designed more as a 2 seater. Dash looks like the cockpit of a plane. Real solid and heavy car compared to todays cars. Comfortable size and comfortable ride.

Bought used have never regretted it.l...low maintenance...no big problems..only the wheel sensor needs replacing and 02 sensor..not bad for 200 000 plus miles..just keep your oil changed and you'll get great service..runs like a dream..

Just sold mine after owning it for eight plus years. While I loved the looks of the SLK and I did enjoy owning and driving it, I was never that crazy about the spartan interior. For a Mercedes that cost $40K new, I thought it was rather plain Jane. I also wasn't happy with things like the door panels delaminating, the dash finish scaling off and probably most of all, the dang roof...I expected better from a Mercedes Benz. The roof went kaput three times while I owned the car and I got sick of the bother and the cost to deal with it. I would have also hoped it would hold its value better. I sold it rather cheap despite having put thousands into it. It's a cool little hardtop convertible but if you buy one, beware...be prepared to sink some $ into it.
