After 63 years of driving, my 2006 C6 Corvette Base Convertible is my favorite car ever. Past sport cars include 3 versions of Mazda Miata, 14 Porsches (including 914/6, 1973 RS Carrera, 1967 911S soft window Targa, 1979 Turbo Carrera, and IMSA 914/6 track car). I dislike the Corvette weight, width in the garage, and lumbering response to the wheel, but the flatness in a turn and the throttle response are amazing. I find it absolutely beautiful to look at, and the auto transmission (6 Spd w/paddle shifters) is the first automatic I have enjoyed in a sport car. This is my first Corvette after all those Porsches, and I am amazed at the refinement and attention to detail in this car. Leather seats are fairly nice, but they are a little overshadowed by excess interior plastic. The black exterior blends with the black interior and leather, and softens the interior starkness somewhat, but the width of the door sill is an unusual inconvenience.

i bought a 86 pontiac 2+2 . my credit union was not still in my state, so needed a co op credit union . they did not do that amount of money with out signed documents from my home credit union .mgm worked with me to get my payment worked through. it took a couple of weeks . when car got here there was a oversight with a maintenance issue .we talked back and forth we reached a agreement and they helped to fix the problem.in my case everything worked out

I bought my 2007 Convertible Z51 3LT in October of 2024. It had 118,000 and now has just over 125,000 miles. This car was someone’s toy as it has a cold air Vararam intake and long tube headers, and has been very well cared for as well. It still looks and drives like new, not bad for an 18 year old car. My only knock on the car is the interior is a lot of plastic and kind of blah. The Center stack is right out of the GM parts bin, nothing special. Raising and lowering the top is as simple as releasing the center handle and pushing a button for up or down. Only the 3 LT does that little trick, the rest are manual. Performance wise, stock it was 5 HP shy of a C5 Z06, mine is making 505 at the wheels very similar to a C6 Z06. When you stomp that loud pedal you better be focused and right with Jesus. I kinda got in trouble when I bought it, my wife as not as excited as I was until we had our first date in the car, she forgave me and I bought her a convertible Mustang a month later.

Fortunately, the last car I bought for $17,300 was totaled (minor fender bender but airbags went off) and valued at $19,200 by insurance, meaning I had a good chunk towards a different car. I emailed Jasin about this 2016 X5 50i since it caught my eye with all of the packages and features it has and I got a reply within 25 minutes of doing so. The process was made very simple and to the point which I appreciate. When I get to Skokie he had everything already signed on his end so all I had to do was sign my parts, and after the test drive and some small talk about the car, I bought it and was in and out of the dealership within 45 minutes. I purchased my 2000 C5 dark bowling green in 2014 it only had 23,000 miles on it, today it has close to 200,000 miles I drive it the only upgrades that I've done is I put different Wheels that mimic the stock ones they're just one inch wider front and back, an air intake from K&N and a Cat-Back system from Flowmasters. I can't go anywhere where at least two people come up and comment on my car and no one can believe it's 23 years old I do keep it in good shape it is the original paint. Like any other vehicle you have little issues water pumps I change the air conditioning a leak in the rear end had to get a new alternator all the normal stuff for cars that are 23 years old no major failures. The performance on this car is fantastic it's fast a Corners well. And if I can keep my foot out of it it gets pretty good gas mileage for the most part. I will say if you plan to get one of these C5 Corvettes you have to be willing to work on the car if you want it to run the way it's designed has a ton of sensors all kinds of grounds there's a lot to it, but the joy and the fun that you get out of it is well worth it.

Much more ruggedly built the Fox body Mustangs, Though a little smaller in appearance, but a whole lot of fun for the money especially if you can find 8 cylinder with low mileage.

Excellent summer car. Very sharp appearance inside and out. GREAT Bose stereo. Stick shift is smooth. Only drawback is no Bluetooth so it is difficult to drive, shift and talk on the phone simultaneously.

My 1990 mustang gt 5.0 5 spd has over 200.000 miles . Still gets 20-23 miles to a gallon combined . A/C still works. Had 1 clutch change never had the valve covers changed.

I absolutely love my Solstice GXP. It's got all the pep you could ever want,it handles & corners like it's on rails! I laugh everytime I see & easily pass Miata's,what a joke they are. I see people complaining about no storage space with these cars! Yes a little more space would be nice but that's what my truck is for. I go every 2 weeks & get groceries & supplies & I spend between $250-$400 and i can get it all in the car. And there are big items in there like 2 cases of pop,a big pail of Cat litter (the 35 lb. pail) and lots of other items. 12 rolls of paper towels, I do use the passenger & floor too but I can get it all in there. I also see people complain about cup holders,and somewhere to put change. The guy in Delaware. There are pockets on the front of both seats,rear of them too. Also the cup holder on the passenger side of console by their left knee,as well as the 2 behind your right elbow. If it bothers you that much buy the aftermarket cup holder for these cars! I'm 6 ft tall & don't have any sight problems he complained about,my Solstice has a power seat button that raises & lowers the drivers seat (only) not forward & back. The button is between your knees more on the left side. I had my car for almost 3 yrs before I discovered this. LOL I took the seat out to install some wiring for the interior lighting I put in,that's when I saw it. The only thing I can complain about is the location of the power window buttons. When I rest my right arm I accidentally hit the buttons and the windows go down. But that's not a big deal. Besides this winter when I put the car away I'm going to relocate them to the center console behind the shifter,because I can! The stereo system is quite impressive for a factory unit. I've had several thousand dollar Alpine,Nakamichi,ADS,Eclipse,Denon systems in my cars thru the years & this is comparable. Could use another subwoofer,to really get the bass i want. But it rocks! My brother always says I can't believe that's a factory system!!!. I love my Solstice. Everywhere I go i get asked what kind of car it is,how fast it is,and they love the color,Mean Yellow! I get alot of looks,especially when I get out of it because this spring i installed the Lamborghini door kit. So people really freak out when they see that. I think for giggles I'm going to buy either Lamborghini or Ferrari emblems to put on it. LOL I did tgat on a Dodge Neon i had years ago, i put Chevy emblems on it. When i traded it in the salespeople laughed hard when they saw it. I bought it in August of 2018 with 13,000 miles,I've got 36,000 on it now & haven't had a single problem. None!!!!

Mine is a forest green / tan top convertible with a manual tranny and LT4 engine. With 41 K on the clock and a boat load of oil change tickets in the console, I think it's got a lot of life left. Paid $20 K and have no regrets.

Owned my Camaro for 10+ years and it’s only ever needed routine maintenance. It’s incredibly quick and handles highway speeds with ease. It gets great fuel efficiency for a muscle car, especially on the highway. Always sounds amazing and is overall a very fun car to drive!
