The Ferrari 360 F1 is one of the most stunning, fun, head turning cars on the road today. If you haven't driven/owned a Ferrari before a 360 is a great place to start. With today's economy you can't beat some of the prices you'll find. Also, unlike other Ferrari's, the 360 doesn't have to the engine removed for belts and other services, cutting servicing cost in half. As for power and handling. Power: can't ask for more (it's almost scary when you rip it). Handling: grips the road and turns on a dime.. If buying one: Make sure you are provided all the service records, check the car fax, and make sure the car is completely up to date with all the services. Most people sell Ferrari's right before a major service has to be done (so definetly take servicing cost into the price of the car). Also, I recommend staying away from the 99 model and possibly even the 00 model since those were the first two years the car was on the market (took a couple years to get all the kinks out). Generally people start out by saying they are expensive to maintain, just don't go to the dealership. In every City there is someone who specializes in BMW older models. 2500 miles is oil change time, not 5000 miles like dealership will tell you. I strongly believe the reason they tell you that is something will go wrong and you will be right back in there to fix a $3000 repair that normally would cost you $75 elsewhere, As this happened to me. At 100,000 miles, whether it needs it or not, REPLACE "VISA VALVE". This part sits on the side of the motor right at the oil stick. There's a light rattle sometimes when I start the car, then goes away. When it got bad enough, check engine light came on, it stopped in its tracks. It took my son one minute to take off 3 screws and replace. The part was $59.00 on Amazon! Dealership wanted $500 for the part and $300 to put it on. Car is good as new.
