I purchased a vehicle there a few days ago and my experience was FANTASTIC! Our negotiations were straightforward, he facilitated getting the car to a shop for a pre-purchase inspection I’d setup and also contacted a company for me to get a temporary wrap for the car to be protected on my drive home back to NC (shout out to Alex and the guys over at ONEighty who fit me in on short notice. Thank you!). Once I got in town at Staten Island, Alfredo’s team was super accommodating and welcoming as well. I have had weekend cars for some years now. Started with BMW M3 (E46 competition package), moved to Porsche 911 turbo (997.1 with 6-sp), then 2015 Nissan GTR (I truly enjoyed that car) and I am on the 2018 MB AMG GTR now. I drive them only during late Spring, Summer and store them from October to April. I keep them for 2-4 summers, then move on. MB AMG GTR is the next level. It is starting to encroach into exotic car territory. Lots of attention. It is a race focused machine and by far the most uncomfortable sport car I have owned so far. But that is a good thing. Engine is at the moment one of the best in the business. Sounds awesome. It is a tricky car to drive fast so one has to be a bit more careful when compared to Nissan GTR/Porsche 911 turbo or even Porsche 911 GT3. I had a rear light failure within the first 4k miles. Fixed under warranty. Entertainment system is a bit old. In general I would say this car is worth the money.

I bought a 2010 as it is the last year of the normal aspirated 6.2 engine that is widely considers the best AMG engine to date. First the negatives, a couple of gadgets don't work. The rear screen, parking sensors and seat massage is intermittent. Everything else is as new. Blindingly fast for a two ton plus coupe. Flat body control even on comfort. Silent...unless you turn up the volume with your right foot. All controls are very intuitive. Interior very shackle with no wear on it after ten years and 120,000 miles! I went with a 63 over the V12 65 due to concerns over repair/maint costs for roughly a 0.1 sec to 60mph. Also I've had an SL65 and although it was awesome, it did have some common sensor issues. So in summary, great car at a great price (when purchased used) I'd highly recommend!
