I purchased a 1995 SL500 on eBay for $7000 + about $600 shipping. Car had just under 80,000 miles. Has been my good-weather daily driver since. Biggest problem is that the European environmentalist whakos used a biodegradable insulation on the wiring. New engine harness was just over $700 and about three hours to replace. The M119 engine, when running properly, is a smooth and powerful monster that makes the car really fun to drive. Wash and wax and it looks like a million bucks. I get a lot of comments - as a teacher folks like to ask how I can afford a car like that. When I tell them what it cost I get the strangest, amazed looks. It has been as reliable as any car I've owned once the wiring was fixed. It is comfortable, fast, fairly agile for two tons of metal, and really cool. It does help to be a little bit mechanically inclined, as shops think you can afford expensive repairs when you bring it. (Estimate for the wiring harness from above: $2800....$700 parts and 3 hours? Glad I could do it myself) The car does have 12 hydraulic cylinders that work the soft-top. Mine were replaced by the previous owner - something to ask as the seals in the originals weren't as good as the neoprene replacements. Cylinders are easy to rebuild, parts are cheap, but the labor to remove several of them makes the job a real pain. For the driver, this car will run up into the three digits very quickly. Look down and see 120 mph but feels like 60 mph. Smooth and very stable at speed, nothing like my old '70 Challenger that was really scary past 3 digits. It is a great machine and I can't imagine ever not driving one. I now have a couple - added a 40k mile 1999 to my stable a while back.

Popped in without an appointment as I was near by to see if they could just change out my wiper blades. Robert Fellows said he would do it for me and within 10 minutes I was back on the road. Always great service and friendly staff

Have owned since new. One of the best cars I've owned. Love driving it. Wherever I go people inquire and appreciate ✨️ the Viper. I have taken great care of it. Upgraded everything I could .About 550+horsepower factory rebuilt engine. Had a bad head gasket. Warranty states must be rebuilt. Transmission drop about a coin the size a a fifty cent piece a week. Again Warranty stated exchange with new Transmission. I did not pay 1 cent to have this done, just time to repair. Great car Steve M. Phoenix Az. 6-9-2024. I worked with Regis on a 2000 Corvette and can say it was the easiest buying experience. I’d asked to have the front fender alignment looked at and he had it fixed along with a missing trim piece. I have driven our 2006 GranSport for 3 years and about 10,000 miles. It's a fun car we use on weekends, track days and Maserati/Ferrari Club events. I really enjoy driving it! In general, I would say the maintenance and repair costs are similar to other 12 year old European high performance cars: during the past 3 years (10,000 miles) I have spent $1,000 for an alternator replacement, $1,200 for rear ball joint dust boots and rear toe rod adjuster replacements, $1,000 for 4 tires. There are occasional odd mechanical repairs that an experienced gear head can repair themselves (check out Maserati Life forum for tons of DIY fixes!) and occasional electrical bugs that are weird but can be fixed with patience. In summary, if you want a normal, quiet, boring car, look elsewhere... if you want a rare, fast, unique and aggressive car, this is it! P.S. the motor is built by Ferrari. It is strong and sounds spectacular. Search You Tube for other reviews.

We drove out to London Motors on a Saturday thinking it was closed. The jeep we wanted to see wasn't on the lot so we sent a message to the dealership through Cars.com. Tommy got back to us within minutes despite being closed and set us up with an appointment to see the jeep. We weren't expecting to see or test drive it that day, but that is exactly what happened. Simply the best car if ever owned. Thank God I was fortunate enough to have owned a few nice cars in my lifetime which were a CBA GT-R, 997.1 GT3RS, Ferrari 360, Ferrari 430, F80 M3, S2000, 911 Turbo S and a few more to mention. By far the 2014 GT-R checks all the boxes on my list I terms of power, looks, rarity, space, technology and build quality. I know some people may not agree with me on this and may say that the car is “lacking soul” but obviously they haven’t own a GTR before. I’m not looking for debate but just giving my honest opinion.

Fantastic sports car, love the motor, torque and sound is spectacular! Fit and finish is all German, attention to detail with Audi's understated elegance. Steering feel is not BMW, turnin and lightness in the wheel are it's only short comings. Steering feel does improve as you come up to speed and the power assist rolls off. Tech is a bit old school, however a minor issue. Shift gate is good, slightly long throws to engage gears. Suspension is good, however slightly bouncy when sport mode is engaged. Magnetic System is greatly improved with MSS Kits spring kit and upgraded rear sway bar set to soft , which improves ride, squat and turnin. Brakes are Brembo, need I say more?

Quick response to my inquiry. However, I specified that I wanted a car with an automatic shift and no convertibles, but they continued to send me information on cars with a manual shift and convertibles.

Second owner of 1970 GTO Judge. Manual steering and manual brakes make for a handful, but straightline is definitely a gas! Everyone watches and talks about how they wished they would have kept the great one from their past. Inefficient, uncomfortable and a task to drive but will not trade for anything.

Outstanding quality and extremely comfortable and quite Grand Touring car. So far no reliability issues, and just normal scheduled maintenance, fluid changes at the recommended intervals, and brake pads and tires so far at 62k mlles.
