The Lamborghini Gallardo is my favorite car of all time. I bought it in 2005 brand new. The 493 horse power V-10 engine is outstanding with lightning fast acceleration. What I was most impressed by is the car's stellar handaling. It is even better then the Gallardo's big brother the Murcielago.

I wanted a car that would be fun to commute in but still be able to blast down remote, curvey country roads when I got the urge. This car fit the bill perfectly. It has ridiculous amounts of power for a 3 liter (I routinely hit 100 mph+ on the highway on-ramp on my way to work) but is still quite economical. An all-around great car.

On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. A good car to get in and out of work for a short distance. However, it is a pity that fast charging is not possible.

2003 350Z with 6SPD manual own it for over 20 years, this car is the poor men Ferrari rolling along at 60 in 3rd gear and punch it, it takes off like a rocket ( no need for turbo). I have had over 300 cars in the last 25 years, hands down this one is the best for over all REAL car experience for the money, don't need to spend $50K for lousy Mopar. plus it holds its value. its also the only car that wi get you 24 MPG city and 30 MPG Hwy if you keep your heavy foot off the gas, no sports car can do that . also it is the best front to rear weight ration, 49% front and 51% rear. Its a sunday driver so the mileage on it is less than 25K now after all these years. other then oil and battery once awhile, no other issues.

What a treat to drive the GT! The car’s distinctive styling is actually eclipsed by its performance. The acceleration is extremely responsive, it corners as flat as a board and it’s growl is intoxicating. Through the years I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to own several world-class vehicles but this one is, by far, my favorite and the most fun to drive. Unfortunately, after a back injury at age 68, it’s time for me to grow up and start acting my age so my loss is your gain. You won’t be disappointed; this little beauty is a gem and if you appreciate great engineering like I do, it’s worth every penny.
