I love the design of this car and the complete look of it. The interior is not the best but it’s definitely sports car feel. The car handles so well it’s hard not to speed. I recommend to anyone that doesn’t need the space and is looking for something to have fun in and enjoy.

This is my third Smart electric. I leased a 2013 and a 2016 electric (if I bought either, I would have had to continue leasing the battery, which didn't make sense for me). I leased a 2019 electric and, since they've stopped selling the Smart in the US, I've decided to buy this one (which comes with the battery - yay!). I love the Smart for its utter cuteness and tininess. It has like a zero degree turning radius, and I'm able to zip in and out of anywhere. It's perfect for my needs, as I tend to do mostly local driving, and I occasionally take it on the freeway if the drive isn't too long. With regenerative braking, I usually get at least 80 miles with each full charge. The only issues I've had with this car are (1) when I first picked it up, it died on me within the first week, and it took the dealer 28 days to reboot and fix everything, and (2) the cup holders aren't adjustable, so my big water bottle doesn't fit (my other Smarts had adjustable holders, so why did they change this?). After driving Smarts for 9 years, I can't really drive other cars -- they all seem so huge and cumbersome. But for longer drives, I do borrow my husband's EV, which has a longer range. I did consider at some point getting a Fiat electric and test-drove one, but it just wasn't as cute as the Smart. Its adorableness makes me happy every time I come out of a building and see it waiting for me. Even after driving it for 3 years, its cuteness still sometimes takes me by surprise!

On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. 2003 350Z with 6SPD manual own it for over 20 years, this car is the poor men Ferrari rolling along at 60 in 3rd gear and punch it, it takes off like a rocket ( no need for turbo). I have had over 300 cars in the last 25 years, hands down this one is the best for over all REAL car experience for the money, don't need to spend $50K for lousy Mopar. plus it holds its value. its also the only car that wi get you 24 MPG city and 30 MPG Hwy if you keep your heavy foot off the gas, no sports car can do that . also it is the best front to rear weight ration, 49% front and 51% rear. Its a sunday driver so the mileage on it is less than 25K now after all these years. other then oil and battery once awhile, no other issues.

Second F Type (accident last one-also V8-current SVR 575HP vs 495 last). Best value of any sports car, except Miata. Look at power, compare to cars costing 50%-100% higher. Wonderful exhaust, although not as growly as first ( monel vs titanium).

After my 2007 Ford Mustang GT was totalled I started looking at some of my childhood dream cars. I always liked the Mitsubishi 3000GT Twin-Turbo and it was in my price range. They are rare and I wanted a nice example. I found a one owner Panama Green 1996 3000GT VR-4, all maintenance records and owned by an old surgeon. They say don't meet your heros but the VR-4 is modern day fast - it made my '07 Mustang GT feel slow and beat a friends 1991 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo with bald tires and a bad launch. In stock form it'll do 0-60 in 4.8-5.0s and the 1/4m in 13.3-13.6@101-105mph. I was sold on it the moment the twin turbos kicked in, the swell of power is enormous, not to mention the g force when launched from a stop. I put a K&N filter in mine, ran consistent 13.3-13.5@102-104mph bone stock besides that. Very impressive considering some of today's hot hatches run similar numbers in the 2020s. Due to the Active Aero system that my 1996 VR-4 had (1997-1999 models don't have it) it felt like 100mph was 60mph. I got it up to 145mph and it still had some pull. It is alive on long sweepers, put it through tight corners and it will comply with nose heavy characteristics. More fun in a straight line. Comfort wise the seats were amazing and held you in place. It's definitely a GT car and is meant to go long distances in comfort in all weather conditions and it does that perfectly. The back seats are harsh for anyone tall but no complaints from shorter people. Reliability: These cars take care of you if you take care of them. I had minimal issues but I made sure to find a specialist who only worked on Mitsubishi and specialized in 3000GTs. Had an idiot valet driver break reverse, luckily it was an easy $200 fix. I had the 60k maintenance service done and had my mechanic fix anything wrong with it. I've owned many cars and the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is one I keep coming back to. Beautiful, fast and rare.

Before I bought the LC I was driving a Porsche 911. The first time I saw the LC I fell in love. One of the most beautiful cars on the road. I test drove it and and while it "ain't" a Porsche, it is wonderful on the road. The more I drove it the more I am sure I made the right decision.

This car is not for everyone (literally, just 740 were imported to the US). But if you want an affordable, exotic, high-performance car this is it. On bad roads and under full power it can be a handful, and you WILL get speeding tickets, but in 50 years of driving performance cars, this is the best thing I have owned. Like any performance car, it demands meticulous maintenance and repairs are more frequent and much more costly than my wife's Toyota, but it is the bomb.

The Honda Prelude is one of Hondas best "budget" sport style cars ever made. The 4th generation is the model that really propelled the prelude forward. With its strong 2.3 liter engine and five speed manual gear box it is an extremely quick and fun car. The 93 prelude handles very well and the steering seems to get tighter the faster you go. I have owned my prelude for 13 years and the car has never let me down. As with most Hondas, a little service and regular maintenance and they will run forever. The styling was ahead of its time. Just look at what the other car makers were making in 1993. Great car, can't go wrong with it.

I've been owning 370Z for 8 years. My Z is a Base version with MT. When I bought it, I was choosing between 370Z, BMW Z4, Chevrolet Corvette and Ford Mustang. I wanted some cheap, simple and reliable "old school" sports car with manual gearbox. I finally chose Z, and I've never had a single regret. Of course, it's not the fastest car, not the most comfortable one, and it's not luxurious at all, but it's unbeatable by the quality/performance/reliability/price ratio. The VQ37 is a bullet-proof engine with endless lifespan. My Z has never been in service for all 8 years and 40k miles (I do all periodic maintenance myself in my garage). I bought it brand new for $28k, and I don't know any other sports car with the same level of power and handling for this money. What else... Cheap parts (as for any other Nissan), HUGE amount of affordable after-market performance upgrades, simple design and great reliability. The only complain I have about 370Z is that the base version seats are not very comfortable, and after 2-3 hours of driving your back may start asking for stopping and taking some rest.

2016 BMW 228i xdrive convertible. The best part: reliability. We are approaching 94k miles and we've had no issues with this car. It feels solid, which is remarkable for a convertible. Everything works just as it should with just routine maintenance. I have only three complaints: the sport seats are my number one complaint. The seat has great lumbar support and is supportive, but the side bolsters on the seat cushion are rock hard and hurt my hips. I have to use a pad to raise myself up a little to ease the pain. The 2nd complaint, and this is worth noting, in comfort mode the throttle can be slow to react. This is so bad it got me rear ended once because the car simply did nothing for several seconds when I pressed the pedal down. Sport mode cures this. Lastly, it requires premium gas. Ford and others get similar horsepower results with regular gas, so I think BMW should be able to also.
