Dodge avenger is a good, I have used this car for 8 years now. The speed drops after 110 km/h a few times. I have changed plugs and feul pump but still. What is the problem, any help ? (Frank)

Mine is great on gas! I use mine for work, traveling + family and have experienced no issues besides having to fix front brake calipers. Runs + drives super smoothly. Interior is beautiful, everything works as it should. I only have a 114k miles on mine which is super nice.

Our Dart has been great. One thing it will needs a QT of oil every 1000 miles. We had low profile tires. Lots of problems. But I knew that when I bought the car. had to replace rims. Gas Mileage is 24 miles Combined. Spare tire was an option. I check that box. Need spare tire. Only real problem was air condition. Needed a hose it was under warranty.

I bought this Dart used. It was a one-owner car with 26,970 miles. The fit and finish are excellent. Amazing standard features for a car of the original MSRP. The car's looks are still current 9 years after production ceased. It normally gets around 25-30 MPG. My only complaint is the Hyundai 6-speed automatic as I wish that it had an American-made 9-speed automatic instead. I had been driving various Plymouth and Dodge Neons for 31 years prior to the purchase of this Dart.

Bought this Dakota Quad 4x4 new. It has the 4.7 V8. The absolute Best Truck I’ve ever owned. It’s still lookin and running like new with 250.000 miles on it. Never had any problems with it. It’s sitting in the drive way right now.

I have owned my 2005 Dodge Dakota 4.7 Laramie since 2012 as of writing this is in the middle of August 2025. I have had no issues with my truck. The truck runs perfect I’ve towed heavy loads many times over 500 miles. This is the best vehicle I’ve ever had. I had a 1986 Toyota pick up with a 22 R engine that blew the head gaskets twice back in 1992. I’ve had a 2016 Toyota Highlander that one was OK but the interior started cracking. I have a 2020 Kia Telluride had to replace the transmission. I’ve had a 1985 GMC blazer had to replace the engine in 1992 with less then 100,00 miles on it. Right now my truck sits on 18 inch rims 31 inch tires no suspension lift. The 2005 dakota has KO 3 all terrain 31 inch tires and has a bunch of overland equipment on it with a Ikamper tent In the interior it has no cracks or blemishes. I can tell you that this is probably the best truck I will own for the rest of my life I don’t plan to ever get rid of it like I said this is a solid truck. I love it. The truck also has over 170,000 miles on it. No transmission issues no engine issues no issues at all. i’ve also taken it out trailing in a mountains, terrain where you see Toyota Trd pros jjeeps, and everything and I get a lot of compliments on it.

This my 2nd Dodge Dakota, I would recommend another one to anyone who wants manual truck. My 1st was 1997 Dodge Dakota, I actually prefer the 97 style to the 2006 model, this year would make my truck 26 yrs old. Still on the road, just has a few maintenance issues, still planning on keeping my 97, gonna put it in the shop for some TLC. I guess what I am trying to say is that the Dodge corporation made one xxxx of a truck, I believe that if the 2006 last as long as my 97, then this will be my last truck. Nothing better than shifting gears with the windows rolled down, going 60 mph.

I purchased my 2005 Dodge Neon SXT with 140,000 miles on it, and now it has just over 178,000 and still going strong. I replaced the engine mounts,btires, and fluids, and it hasn't given me any other problems. I did have to bypass the heater core, but have plans on replacing it, but I'm in no rush, because I live in Southern Georgia where the weather isn't so cold. It's a peppy little car, and is excellent on gas. Mine is still in excellent condition inside and out.

My parents have had a 2004 SE for 18 years. When taken proper car of, it will last. We have used it a few times to travel between Mexico City and Austin several times and have had little issues. Since Ive been able to drive, (3 or so years) I have pushed it a bit, but still no problems. Major repairs consist of changing out the clutch due to heavy use (that may be my bad) and new coils. It has the occasional whining serpentine belt, but has never broken down on us and keeps looking great. Despite the SE being front-wheel drive and a little over 100 hp, its super fun to drive because it's relatively light. I'm around 6 feet tall and have no trouble driving the car. You could probably be up to 6'5 and be comfortable. Air conditioning hasn't been the best experience in my opinion (Texas heat is something else) but we have never had to have any major repairs on it (white exterior also helps). The back seats are roomy enough, but there is no ac in the back, but because it's a smaller car, the ac works well enough. It has decent MPG and sits around 22 - 25 MPG. The ride could be better, though. Because it's a sports-ish car, it tends to not do great on bumps, and it is not very soundproof, so it's not a silent cruiser (although not a bad thing if you like to hear the engine). I have a cloth interior that makes sure that you don't stick to the seats, but the black interior color makes it hot in the summer. It's also not the most attractive design in the inside, but It's nothing to complain about. It's definitely a much more beautiful car on the outside (especially if you take care of it) and stands out as they are not very common. Overall: A great, fun, and reliable car. I'd especially recommend it as a first car, as it is safe (due to the FWD) and looks great. I'm not planning on buying another car for the foreseeable future.

Just bought 2009 Dodge grand Caravan SXT 205,000 miles runs perfect handled. Great lots of room hideaway seats. I’m getting about 20 miles a gallon after I used a canon filter system installed and Lucas gas treatment every tank of gas got a really good deal on it paid $1500. Very little rust and my grandkids love it. Thank you.

I would like to thank Mr. Bellomo for everything he expediently did for me in the transition of my leased Jeep to my new leased Charger. Having been devastated at the loss of my first Charger in 2016, I tried something new (my Jeep), but just was not in love with it. Being reclusive in nature, I do not enjoy spending long hours having to make purchases of any sort. Mr. Bellomo seemed to understand my reasoning for wanting to get back into something I loved. My car was a desideratum in feeling like "myself" again. Not only did he accomplish this with amazing accuracy, he, also, took the time to speak with my father who lives 24 hours away to reassure him that I would be taken care of. I, literally, had everything done, no surprises or let downs, in two days without ever having to spend hours at the dealership. I cannot thank him enough for giving me back something I dearly loved and have fallen in love all over again. It is not often that people in the customer service industry are understanding, empathetic and sympathetic enough to tailor a person's needs accordingly. I bought my 07 dodge nitro slt with 82k miles on it 9 months ago for 9k plus tax. Currently have 90k miles on it and overall it’s been an alright car for me. I’ve had to do a bit of work on it but im a mechanic so it’s not that expensive for me i’ve had to replace the oil sending unit, bad spark plugs that were causing a misfire when my engine was cold, the muffler and tail pipe rotted out, the trailing arms rotted out, my left signal had a bad ground so watch out for electrical issues they get pretty expensive if you’re not a mechanic and live in a inspection state like i do. I’m not counting oil changes/brakes because that’s basic maintainence with any vehicle. But outside of that it’s been a decent car for the price i love the 4 wheel drive and the higher up in the air factor i never get stuck in the snow and you know how bad it snows in buffalo. Outside of that the engine and transmission are pretty solid on these cars if you don’t drive them hard they can be a pretty solid daily driver and the frames are pretty well made mine hardly has even surface rust on it if you don’t mind the bad gas milage and bumpy ride it’s a nice little suv for the price.

Love the stow n go seating! Absolutely the most versatile seating arrangement I've ever seen. There is TONS of room in the back with both rows of seats down. The versatility of putting down just the back or side seats to have room to haul stuff and still have safe seating for a kid or two has been fantastic. I put 235,000 miles on the van and it has been a reliable ride for nearly all of those miles.

Now, I did just purchase this car, just a couple of months ago, and even though it's an older car, it only had 55,000 miles when I bought it, and I purchased a 5-star warranty as well. First, I'm probably being a bit bias, b/c I'm a Dodge fan, due the Nitro I had previously. But so far, the other reviews I've read are pretty much spot-on. Mine has the 2.4L 4-cylinder. It's not as good on the gas mileage as other 4 cylinders, from the Reviews I had already read, b/c the Journey is heavy, but for me, it's also less to fill up than the 3.6L, 6 cylinder Nitro I owned previously. I also wouldn't take it on any sharp turns either. As other reviews had said, the engine does make some noise, but it's not that big of a deal to me. However, unlike the other reviews I had read, I have plenty of space as a driver, it's not as compacted as I thought it would be, but the cargo space has plenty of room, just like I've read. The infotainment system is really good too, just like the reviews I'd read had stated. I have SIRIUS, don't know how, I'm not paying for it, but if it's a feature with this car, fantastic, BB King's Bluesville station is on constant play, as other stations are too. It doesn't have the vehicle backing system nor an AUX connector that most cars now have, but it's a 2015, and the Journey wasn't Dodge's most elite model either. However, so far, I'm growing into this car, and glad I purchased it. I'll probably get the Hornet next. Ha.
