Like this car dealership a lot
Great customer service. Manuel and David worked with us so we can get a car that's within our budget. They did all the paper works for the car, and we just had to wait for it. When we got home after we bought it, I noticed that there was a little crack in the front glass. My dad called David, and he told us to bring back the car so they can see it. David called someone to fix the crack. After an hour, the crack was fixed. These guys are still willing to help their customers even though the car was already sold. Because of this, I'm more than positive that I will be back buying another car from them in the future. I will also tell my friends to check out this place if they need to buy a car.
I'm 6'8".
I'm 6'8". Its hard to find cars I fit in period. That being said. I have a taste for small rockets. And the (GQ) fiat 500 sport I have fits the bill. Basically an abarth motor. But not the handling or cool badges/interior. None the less. My big butt fits in it. Got to crank the seat way back. But it's just me in there most of the time. Its a fun little car that rips corners and stupid fun turbo pulls in 2nd and 3rd gear. Watch that esc light flash. Good fun. And the price for a used one ain't bad. Digging the 500

car buying and service
We came to Fremont toyota on a Sunday to have our car serviced. Our appointment was really early so I came to pick up my husband after dropping our car to service department. We don't know but for some reason we kinda' looked around used car department to browse their Camrys. I've been wanting to trade our other car which is a Corolla since last year. I have a 15 month old baby but since we have a good working 4runner, I was just really hoping for a full sized car coz' i feel it's not too big as an SUV but not too compact as my current car. James Kang approached us at the parking lot and offered help. In my mind, omg they will really try to sell us something. And right there and then I told my husband "we've been though this before, we still have our car, we won't be super impulsive and pressured." That day was not really a day to buy, although i've been wanting the car, but it was not an urgent thing. James came back and talked to us. He had a very nice and light aura- No hassle, No pressure. and that was the first time I felt that way with a dealer. From test driving the car, til contract signing- we didnt feel rushed and obligated. I guess to make long story short, yes i traded my car- but the process was so smooth. And even though we got a 2014 Camry, slightly used, I think we got what we wanted and we are happy. James took care of everything even we had to come back to fix slight dents i found, he was very prompt and honest. He is highly recommended, if you wanna have a good car buying experience.

My first pleasant experience with a car dealership. I have always dreaded buying cars and avoid car salesmen like a plague. No high pressure tactics. Danny is more like an advocate. He will tell you why a particular cars is a good car and persuade you with data. He said a good car will sell itself and I think he is right.

I bought my Crossfire used (second owner) and am extremely happy with her. I first saw her online and knew immediately that THIS WAS MY CAR. I went to the dealership that advertised her, text drove, and without hesitation, purchased. She does leak a little tranny fluid and I have to put the top down manually but I don't mind a bit. She's gorgeous. And fast. And I love her to pieces!

Very Nice Car
The car is comfortable. Great gas mileage. Good visibility. The car has proven to be a great purchase. It's really tough to find a good deal on a used car. Even tougher to find a honest dealer. (is that an oxymoron?)

Excellent
Excellent from beginning to end! I flew up from LAX in order to buy the car. The ONLY thing is it did not come with an owner's manual and one month later I still have not received registration. Other than that, excellent!
I bought my 2007 Escape inOctober of 2014.
I bought my 2007 Escape inOctober of 2014. It was a V6 when I got it it had 85,000 miles and I paid $9,000 for it. I drove it for 10& years until June 10, 2025 when someone ran a stop sign and totalled it. It had 275,000 miles and was still a great car and drove wonderful with lots of power. It was a great vehicle!

I had an outstanding experience at Uptown Ford in Oakland
I had an outstanding experience at Uptown Ford in Oakland while buying a car for my dad. Mason and Marcus both went above and beyond to make me feel like a part of the Ford family. Uptown Ford stands out as the only dealership where I felt I could make an informed decision without any pressure. With an extensive selection of vehicles, the entire process, from browsing to purchasing, was seamless. I highly recommend Uptown Ford to anyone looking for a top-notch car-buying experience. If you visit, be sure to ask for Marcus or Mason—they'll take excellent care of you.
Great... with a few notes.
Our vehicle now has 150,000 miles. Its performing great. Pretty good gas mileage and has had minimal service other than routine. It does have a rattle when first starting car. We had that fixed ($800) but now it's back. Dang. The one exterior design problem we face is the latch for the rear hatch. The location is poor. EVERYONE tries to open the hatch just under the window where there is a cut out and has pulled off trim and messed with the back up camera. I've noticed that has been fixed on newer models. It does not seem to do really well in the snow due to the weight distribution. Even with new tires. But its been super dependable and has been our people and dog moving car for 10 years and has really held up well.

My Sales Consultant, Finance Manager, and their entire team were very transparent with the buying process, had the vehicle I really liked, and worked very diligently to get me into a great vehicle in WONDERFUL condition. The purchase process was very detailed and swift.
The last of the great accords.
The last of the great accords. Purchased 2007 accord ex 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine in 2011 with 46,000 miles. I currently have 160,000 miles on the car. Up to recently it was just basic maintenance, oil brakes and tires etc. I had no mechanical repairs until the car was 16+ years and 150k miles, then it was just starter, control arms and 1 lower ball joint. The check engine light came on recently for the 1st time ever at 159,000. It was an oxygen sensor which I was able to replace myself. Before this car I had a VW jetta where the check engine was never off. Great car it runs and drives the same as when I first got it. Hope to drive for another 100k miles.

An awesome vehicle!
I’ve had 4 different minivans over the last 2 decades, 2 Mazda MPV’s, 1 Dodge Caravan and the 2009 Chrysler T&C that I bought used in 2013. The T&C wins hands down…I absolutely love it, comfortable, super sound system, Bluetooth compatibility with my cell phone, great on gas and holds a ton of stuff. Have taken it from Canada through the US and, knock on wood, I have had 0 issues with it and hope it lasts as long as I do being a senior! Wish Chrysler had not discontinued it!

Central Valley Purchaser.
Danny, the owner of the dealership was really polite never pressured to purchase the Pilot we when to take a look at. We drove from the central valley to the bay area and came back home with a semi-new Honda Pilot. I was presented with CARFAX with all the things done to the vehicle I purchased. Purchasing a car with EKE Mortorsports made it easy great experience and great people.
Owned since new
The only thing that it has needed is a new belt and tension pulley covered under warranty and a 99.00 brake job. It is a little bit underpowered but seems to haul a good sized load easily. This is a great used vehicle and perfect condition to date. I would sell this to my mother for reliability, period.

Nice Folks, Good Selection
Shopping for a used van, saw 1 for sale at EKE on the web, came by for a look and a test drive. Good van, a little bigger than I had wanted, and the sales folks couldn't have been nicer. Would have been very comfortable buying from them, if I had decided to do so. I
Rav4EV
We were replacing the Nissan Leaf as the 36 month lease is up. I needed a car to replace this vehicle. What was important was the ability to transport our large dog Frankie a Great Pyrenees. He weighs in at 125 lbs. I did not want him on the seats. I did not want him standing on top of the folded down seats as there was no protection if we had to stop quickly. The ideal situation was a rear area that was large enough to accommodate him. I limited the search to Hybrids, Hydrogen fuel, Plug-ins, and All Electrics. The vast majority of all Electric vehicles have battery sizes under 24kwh. The only exceptions are the Tesla S, and the Toyota Rav4EV. I initially looked at the Rav4EV and because the car lacked a fast charge capability decided against it. However, it had the right size and capacity. I then began to consider all the others. The plain hybrid was dropped because it did not qualify for the Diamond Lane Sticker, though I liked the Toyota Prius V. The problem there is I am already driving the equivalent and really wanted something different. I have and have had Prius hybrids now for over 9 years. So I have experience with them. The next group to drop out was the hydrogen fuel vehicles. While on average they can drive 300 miles you are pretty much corralled into a specific geography. There just is not the infrastructure required. Also very slow from zero to 60 miles per hour. I did like the new Hyundai Tucson Hydrogen Fuel vehicle. However upon review found the back of the vehicle not large enough for Frankie. I then looked at Plug-ins. Kind of the best of both all Electric and Hybrid vehicles. The problem here is no one makes a SUV type of Plug-in except Mitsubishi (Outlander PHEV). However it is not available in this Country probably for another 1 1/2 years. So that left me again looking at Electrics. I again reviewed the Rav4EV. I did some searching and found that with reasonable driving speeds, you could drive from Orange County to Santa Barbara (120 miles) That sounded really good. The size was perfect. The performance was there. The nice thing is you are getting the Tesla drive train at a Toyota price. So after careful consideration I took the leap. Thus far I am delighted. Someone is already working on a fast charger hookup for the car. That is what is so exciting about this industry. The people buying these cars are innovative and experimental. I expect that in the near future you will be able to purchase the kit necessary to allow the Rav4EV to charge with a fast charger. Then distance is less of an issue. The car could benefit from Leather interior. Thought a lot of the people buying the vehicle don't like the idea. Great visibility, utilitarian, and a pleasure to drive. I would probably have a bit of a better sound system, though this one is ok. The car is very quiet as you would expect with an all Electric. I would have added all windows up and down express instead of just the driver window. The rear view camera is not as good as the Nissan Leaf. The Nissan Leaf has pretty good electronics. But also remember it was designed from the get go as an all Electric. The leaf was a joy to drive. Just too short of a driving range. The Rav4EV has front window shades that have pull out visors to use when you fold it against the side windows. This is a favorite of my wife. The mirrors fold and have turn signals built in. I added a module that auto folds the mirrors when you lock the car and unfolds when you start the electric motor. Otherwise it was a push button. The verbal navigation system seems to work. That has been an area that really needs help for many years. I am using a 40 amp charger that is portable. The car will charge completely in ~6 hours from completely dead. It is a Toyota after all so that has its own benefits. Keep in mind I also have an 2001 Acura NSX-T that I supercharged and put on coil overs, headers, exhaust, and big brakes. I have tracked my car as well. So I do appreciate driving and driving fast.
