Toyota decided to get serious with their electric compact suv over their earlier version. Lowered the price making it competitive with all others in this class. Also making it now competitive is the increase in driving range, the XLE AWD model gets a significant boost with a 288 mile range. In addition the horsepower on the XLE AWD increased to 338 providing 0-60 in the middle 4 second range… that’s head snapping power. Also, major improvements were addressed to the charging system… now able to charge significantly faster and it comes using the NACS (North American Charging Standard) outlet connection for faster charging ( (originally called the Tesla charging connection). I personally enjoy driving the bZ around town but also on major roads. It runs quietly as an electric should but also isolates road noise. The instrument panel is different but coming from driving my plug in hybrid Prius Prime I’m used to different. I trust Toyota overall quality over all other manufacturers whether the vehicle is a traditional combustible gas engine or now electric.

I had an oil change for my Honda Accord. Only took about an hour. Logan Clark did a great job of getting me in and out quickly.

I recently purchased a used car from DeVoe Cadillac that I saw listed on the internet and had it shipped to me. I worked with Dwight (salesperson) and Brandon (finance) and this was easily the best experience I have ever had buying a car (and I have bought a few). They always answered my calls or, if unavailable, called me right back and addressed any questions/concerns I had immediately. More importantly, because I was buying this car sight unseen (except for the pictures on the internet), I put great trust that they were shooting me straight on the car, price and financing options. They 100% delivered on this trust. I love my new (to me) car and am very comfortable the agreed price was fair to both sides. It’s really a pretty great car. For the price, the car is quite luxurious and well-made. I had a glitch or two when I first got it, but they were quickly resolved and have had no further problems over my first year of ownership. The car is smooth, quiet, very powerful and quick. I’ve been getting close to 3 miles per kilowatt hour over the long haul using the regenerative braking system. There is a little adjustment to drive an EV over a gas engine car, but the advantages are easily stated such as the smooth power and low maintenance required. The lower range is an issue for long trips, but if you’re not in a real hurry, the stops to charge can be quite pleasant. That said, my wife and I usually use her hybrid Lexus when we go road tripping as it is just more comfortable as it is what we are used to. Kudos to Cadillac for a job well done.
