I've had my 2019 Bolt Premier for a month now and it's really a clever little vehicle. Nimble and fun to drive with lots of room (can fit two mt bikes in the back). Coming from a VW GTI I expected the Bolt to be a substantial step down, but it's not. Granted the GTI is leagues ahead in both interior and exterior build quality, but the Bolt is no slouch in terms of what a fun-sized EV hatch should be. With a low center of gravity, loads of "O" torque and a decent suspension, the Bolt doesn't embarrass itself while performing it's appointed tasks around town. Sure, the steering could benefit from taking a communications class and the brakes are less than linier but the single pedal driving dynamic is outstanding (I could seriously go on for a while regarding how intuitive the one pedal regen system is on the Bolt, kudos to GM for their work on this feature). The rest of the gripes about the Bolt (plastic interior, uncomfortable front seats, low res screens, odd styling) I think miss the mark regarding the sum of it's parts. At the end of the day, does the Bolt deliver a satisfying experience and leave you with a smile? Absolutely!

Review: Living With 3 Chevy Bolt EVs for past 6 years Owning three Chevy Bolt EVs has been one of the smartest financial and practical decisions we’ve made. Each year, we’re saving $6,000–$7,000 combined on fuel and maintenance compared to when we drove gasoline cars. We get about 250-300 miles of range depending on heat and AC use. We bought them used around $20k each, had batteries replaced in 2020 so 100,000 mile warranty, can't beat it! Charging at Home Is Simple, either use 110v and charge overnight or upgrade 220v dryer plug We picked up a Level 2 home charger for about $150 on Amazon. Installing and running it is as simple as hooking up clothes dryer. The charger just uses a standard 240V outlet, and the energy demand is nothing unusual for a typical household. Pulls same amount of power as microwave or toaster oven. Real Cost to Charge Let’s run the math: Electric rate: $0.10 per kWh Efficiency: ~4.5 miles per kWh Monthly driving: 2,000 miles each car That works out to: 2,000 miles at 4.5miles/kW at 10cents/kW= $44/month So for just $44 a month, each Bolt drives 2,000 miles. Compare that to a gas car at 30 MPG and $3.50/gallon: 2,000 miles at 30MPG= 66.7gals times $3.50 = $233/month That’s nearly $190/month in savings per car, just on fuel. Multiply that by 3 cars and a full year, and the numbers quickly add up. Maintenance Savings Beyond the fuel savings, the Bolt EVs don’t need oil changes, transmission services, or exhaust system repairs. Brake wear is minimal thanks to regenerative braking. For us, the maintenance costs dropped to little more than tire rotations (free at Discount Tire), washer fluid and cabin air filters. Final Thoughts Switching to the Chevy Bolt has been a financial win and a stress reliever. Charging at home is as easy as running a kitchen appliance, and the cost per mile is dramatically lower. Despite the scary looking recalls my 2023 AWD Pro-s model has been 99.9% reliable. In comparison to my previous 2021 ID.4 pro-s which had several annoying system failures that necessitated immediate trips to the dealership. However the 2021 pro-s has the folding mirror option which I had expected to get in the 2023 pro-s but was very dissatisfied to learn it had been remover and put in the ‘+’ package. The mirror option should be offered as a standalone upgrade to all non ‘+’ 2023 and 2024 models as no $50k plus car should be without it.

The whole thing was a positive experience everyone that I dealt with was very helpful, specially because I drove up there from Florida, thank you to Marlon, Aubrey and Omar, great staff, I definitely recommend Donohooauto!!!

I love driving this car! It is fast and efficient. I love the one-pedal braking and seldom have to use the brake pedal. It also has a hand brake on the left side of the steering wheel that is a great accessory. The car looks small, but there is ample room for 4 adults. The storage in the back is limited, but plenty of space for our needs. We can also put two suitcases in that space. If it is just the two of us, we can drop the back seat and create more than enough space for all the luggage we would need on a long trip. The torque is outstanding and is great to have entering a freeway or passing another vehicle. The visibility around and behind the car is the best I think I've ever had in a car. No maintenance other than tire rotations and we have solar panels at our house, so I haven't paid for gasoline (or electricity) in over 3 years. The only negative is long distance driving and that will soon be solved when the Tesla Supercharging Station adapters will be available for GM cars in 2024. Did I say this was a great car? We love it.

I sat and watched all the YouTube Videos I could find on the Lyriq. I decided on the 2024 Lyriq Luxury 2 because of the select features that It came with or I could add to the vehicle. With a personal check to place an order, I went to my favorite Dealership " Plaza Cadilac in Leesburg, FL. When I arrived to place my order I could see several Lyriq's lined up. The one main Item that I wanted was the 19.2 on-board charging system rather than the 11.5 system. My salesman scoured their inventory and found one with the equipment I wanted but not the color. He found a 2024 Lyriq Luxury 3 with a 19.2 charging system and a whole lot more. One of the main items this time around was the all-glass roof with the power shade. They brought up an all-white vehicle with a beautiful real leather interior and all the bells & whistles that Cadillac is known for. The car is a stunning showpiece in gleaming white paint and just enough chrome to make it stand out without being gaudy. A Vehicle that folks stop and look at in the Church parking lot, The Post Office, or the Grocery Store. At night the vehicle lights up the way around it as it glides along. When you see it, you know it's a Cadillac lyric.

This car has been, without a doubt, the best vehicle I've ever owned. From its reliable performance to its comfortable interior, every aspect of this car has exceeded my expectations. The engine is powerful yet fuel-efficient, making long drives both enjoyable and economical. The handling is smooth, and the ride quality is superb, even on rough roads.

This car has delivered beyond our expectations. Recently took it on a 180 mile trip into the Rocky Mountains. We arrived with over 150 miles in reserve. It’s quiet and smooth. Highly recommend!

2023 VW ID.4 PRO S. 1 year this July of 24, 16000 miles. Before the latest software update of 3.1 or 3.5 we could the full state of charge was 300 Miles. After the update, the max SOC dropped to 253. But many software problems were fix. The 12V battery is stronger than the 2021 (they were updated later). Fast charge to 80% is 35 minutes or less. I charge at home in Arizona we have solar with SUNRUN. We installed a 50amp this provides us with using WALLBOX 11kw so for example, today Apr 8, 2024. to charge at home from 18% SOC to 80% took rounding up 3 hours. Not bad. March Electicy bill was $40. No expense for fuel and money saved.

We love this car! Comfortable, simple, quick. It even has a back massager on both seats! So far it has been all we could have wanted.

Owned for a year and love it. Beautiful style, quiet and comfortable. More luxury than sport. Feels creamy smooth driving and all controls. No issues yet.

I recently leased a 2024 Quattro premium plus 55. I have not had the severe issues others mention in reviews, but agree that the electronics and software are sometimes frustrating. It drives nicely for an SUV (I prefer driving small cars). I don’t like the behavior of the brakes. You have to really step on them for the final 5 mph to complete stop — they are not linear. I know VW knows how to do brakes in an EV, because the e-Golf is fantastic. Also annoying are the steering wheel buttons — again, big downgrade from the e-Golf. Overall, happy with the great lease deal I got.
