Used cars for sale near Fayetteville, NC under $5,000

Going to any used car lot can be nerve-wracking, especially a buy here/pay here lot. We were not buy here/pay here customers, but rather had our own financing in place already. We had looked long and hard for a vehicle, and my fiance is pretty discriminating about his truck. We drove 2 + hours to look at this particular truck as well as one other they had there. Jose, the salesperson, represented the vehicle fairly, and when we raised a few questions about a mechanical thing, he went with us right to their mechanic down the street to get it looked at. The mechanic is a private shop, but does a lot of work for Kelly/Kelly. We pointed out the things we had noticed, and he spent 20 minutes going over the truck and figuring out what it would need. Armed with that information, we went back to the dealership, laid it all out, and asked Mr. Kelly for his best number on the truck. He was very forthright with his info, and when we asked to drive the truck a little more to talk it over, they put $50 worth of gas in it, put a dealer plate on it, and off we went. When we called our bank, we discovered how very fair Mr. Kelly's best number was, and we bought the truck from him. We were a bit apprehensive about a 100 mile drive home in a freshly purchased truck, but we had no surprises and are totally happy with the truck. We also have a friend who works on the other side of buy here/pay here lots, and we called him to see if he had heard of Kelly/Kelly, and got back the news that within the Fayetteville region, they were decent people in the used car industry.

Worth buying needs a good owner :) i haven't got to really enjoy ended up getting different and would rather have a truck since we got a car already ..i don't kno why i ended up getting the Lincoln but first look at it i had to have it...lol definitely worth takin a look at

I bought a Alero in 2004 the last one made still have it I use it for shows it's in mint condition I have 87.473miles never seen rain all original original paint the only 2 thing I replaced is a battery and front brakes never had any problems love the car

I have a 2011 Ford Fiesta S with a manual transmission.I bought it with 120,000 miles and took a gamble.At first it had a issue with it revving by itself but then I cleaned the whole throttle body clean up the mass air flow sensor and haven't had a issue since .It now has 245000 miles and still my daily driver. It's interior is cheap but as long as you take care of it I think it's great for something for a to b traveling I take it everywhere across states and change oil and filters regularly along with other mechanical parts (all normal wear and tear)love this car

The sales manager was wonderful to work with, he went above and beyond to help us. I went here to purchase a car for my daughter who is leaving for college, she loves her new to her car. The last of the great accords. Purchased 2007 accord ex 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine in 2011 with 46,000 miles. I currently have 160,000 miles on the car. Up to recently it was just basic maintenance, oil brakes and tires etc. I had no mechanical repairs until the car was 16+ years and 150k miles, then it was just starter, control arms and 1 lower ball joint. The check engine light came on recently for the 1st time ever at 159,000. It was an oxygen sensor which I was able to replace myself. Before this car I had a VW jetta where the check engine was never off. Great car it runs and drives the same as when I first got it. Hope to drive for another 100k miles.

Had for seven years very reliable, The only thing I need to recall the agitators cause I cannot afford to get them fixed. They’re causing massive problems problems in my every day living.

Bought new in 2007 and still runs and looks like new. As reliable as they get..only needed routine maintenance for 16 years. It's a simple car without much that can go wrong. Handles great, reasonably peppy and good fuel mileage. Still love it after all these years..not interested in a new car!
