I'm 6'8". Its hard to find cars I fit in period. That being said. I have a taste for small rockets. And the (GQ) fiat 500 sport I have fits the bill. Basically an abarth motor. But not the handling or cool badges/interior. None the less. My big butt fits in it. Got to crank the seat way back. But it's just me in there most of the time. Its a fun little car that rips corners and stupid fun turbo pulls in 2nd and 3rd gear. Watch that esc light flash. Good fun. And the price for a used one ain't bad. Digging the 500

This is my first car. I adore it. I get loads of compliments—it’s super attractive and sporty with the convertible roof and the sleek two door design. Fiat really capitalizes on the small interior of the 500C with smart design. There’s no center console but there are still 4 cups holders, large (spanning the whole length of the doors) compartments in each door, a compartment between the front seats, a net pocket by the passenger side under the glove box, and a large pocket on the back of the passenger seat. What I’m saying is this: don’t be fooled by the size. There is ample room inside for what I need to carry with me, in fact, more space than I need. I usually drive alone or with a passenger and I have no kids, so I never feel cramped. I was able to fit $500 of groceries between the passenger seat and floor, backseat and floor, and the trunk. I’ve gone on numerous 2hr drives with a passenger with zero complaints of feeling cramped or claustrophobic. The inside is comparable to the feel of a standard sedan. A little smaller since the car is narrow, but comfortable. It also has a luxury feel to me. The dash is retro and adorable with knobs and the exterior color. The stereo is great and has a touch screen and GPS. The speakers’ bass is surprisingly heavy. I love the digital dash—odometer, speedometer, gas gauge, rpm, gas economy, engine and outside temp, tire pressure, date, time, miles left in your tank, how many miles your trip has been, etc. It has two different options for a little image of a Fiat which I love. It tells you which door is open if one is which is convenient. Everything on the dash is circular and centralized. There are so many small details that I love about this car—the houndstooth print seats, the leather steering wheel, backup sensors, steering wheel radio controls, window controls by the shifter, lights on the side of the car that blink with your directionals, the fact that if you open the trunk with the top down, the top automatically goes up one notch and the trunk opens saving you from having to enter the car and put the top up, little “Fiat” inscriptions in the headlights, and many other things. It rides great—very smooth for a compact car. Maneuverable, good tension on the wheel and pedals. The AC and heat cool and warm the car fast. The doors are large and heavy. The media, dash, and wheel controls are user-friendly. The car feels very sturdy and safe, but also cozy. Excellent gas mileage. You do have to use 91 or 93 octane gas but the tank is only 10 gallons and you’ll only find yourself filling it every few weeks if you drive a normal amount (to and from work, the store, etc). It’s a very responsive car—it does exactly what you want it to do. The only test is the winter. It is not AWD, so I will be getting snow tires and driving carefully. I feel confident about it. The car isn’t really lower than an average sedan but watch out for bottoming out. I don’t know anything about engines, but under the hood was extremely clean when I got it, whatever that means. There are two USB ports, a lighter port, and an AUX port. Middle E-brake which I prefer and a steering column in the middle, not on the steering wheel. Mine is automatic but driving this car stick would be a blast. Overall, an amazing car and I know it will be reliable and exactly what I need until the time comes for another car. I bought it with very low mileage so I’m not worried about repairs which I understand can be expensive since the car is Italian and parts can be tricky to find. I needed a reliable car to put a lot of miles on for a while and this is it!

Only problem is check engine light which is said to be due to gas cap. I ordered new gas cap and will see if resolves problem. Otherwise have 60-day limited warranty from dealer.

Fiat didn't market the 500 correctly. I had a 500 Sport manual that I bought new. It is amazingly fun to drive, incredibly fuel efficient (37+ mpg at a minimum) and a ton of room when you fold the seats down. I went from a Porsche 911 turbo as my daily driver to the cinquecento (500 in Italian). The Fiat was more fun to drive basically because you could floor it everywhere and when I'd look at the speedometer I'd be going 52 mph! In the Porsche I'd be going 130. I drove it multiple times over a thousand miles in a day. Seats were comfortable, sat radio, and Beats sound system rocked. I sold it and bought an i3. Never had a problem with the Fiat. Inexpensive to maintain and the Fiat dealer was great for service. Fun to drive, utilitarian, and great gas mileage. I wish I still had it. If I had a giant garage, I would have kept it.

I purchased a 96 Caprice from this dealer.....buying experience was top notch. They answered all of my many questions about the car, negotiated price with me and had the car delivered in record time. The vehicle arrived in an enclosed trailer, was clean and ran perfectly. There were no issues with the car that I found. Normal wear and tear for a 21 year old car but very clean and taken care of. I got a 2013 Abarth as my first car at 18 years old. I drove it for 8 years until it was finally killed by a deer with over 223,000 miles on it and it was still going strong. It was always reliable and so much fun to drive. I drove it like any 18 year old kid would and it had no complaints. It made long commutes tolerable. It is also shockingly good in the snow. I only ever did routine maintenance to it and that’s all it needed. There were couple small things that started to go bad on it, such as the passenger window regulator, but nothing major ever broke. I would highly recommend this car to anyone who’s considering getting one. I would happily buy another one.

Really nice lot with amazing low mileage options. A range of car models and years. Had a lovely conversation with my salesman about my options based on my needs in a car (1 hour drive to work daily), and got a 2016 Toyota Camry!

i made a 400 mile trip to Los Angeles to buy my first Fiat 500 in 2012 before we could get then here is San Francisco...i didnt know then it would be the start of a long love affair with the cars as i ended up buying at total of 17- proof on file right here next to my desk...its nice to make a 400 mile trip on one 10 gallon tank of gas- especially these days where some of us are seeing six to seven dollar gas in california...i can only think of one issue with one of the 17- a piece weakened in the stick shift linkage on Monday and by Tuesday the Fiat dealer had the part and installed it in an hour while i baby sat the greyhound in the waiting room...last year i bought my first used one- red- for cheap at carmax with really low miles on it...so far the only thing was a jammed cd in the radio- carmax replaced the unit so now i can play my favorite inner city gospel music to local teen who hang out in front of the supermarket after school...i would ask Stellantis/FCA to bring the new fiat 500 they are selling in europe right back here to the US where it is needed and belongs...end of discussion...Bishop Tom- host of the Bishop Tom radio show....

This service shop always takes good care of me! They’re good listeners, clean waiting area, and offer Lyft services when a loaner isn’t available to drop you off, and pick you back up!! Great location if you want to take a nice walk, or grab brunch as well!

I was looking for a car, any car, that would fit my larger folding bicycle. Many SUVs won't with out folding the rear seats (which looks tacky on a 4 door car). I located a few sedans that it actually fit in the trunk, but the selling dealer just got this Abarth for sale, and as a joke, I tried to put my large folding bike in the hatch of this teensy-tiny-sporty little 2 door sedan. OMG, it fit (with rear seats folded, but a small 2 door, looks great). I took it on a long 200 mile drive crossing 3 Blue Ridge mountain ranges, and the Abarth experience was delirious and delicious. And I'm an older fellow 9 but used to race autocrosses).

I like it. Very stable on the road. Corners well, front wheel drive offers great traction. Good acceleration if one knows how to use a manual transmission.

This is exactly what I wanted for driving to/from gym, grocery store, etc. Fun to drive & good on gas. It is NOT good for driving up & down steep hills. Or accelerating onto a freeway. The power just isn’t there. But if you’re mostly doing flat city driving, it’s great. I love it.

I have had 2 Fiats. One is a 2012 Pop @ 190,000 miles. I've had it ten years and passed it along to my oldest. Second is a 2013 Sport @ 103,000. Ive had it 2 years and passed it along to my youngest. Now I am lookin for my forever Fiat, a 2015. PROS: 1. These vehicles are small and very dependable. A tank of gas will last me 2 weeks and my husband 3 weeks. 2. Great response in handling. 3. Perfect for around the town driving 4. Parking is a breeze, especially with double parkers. CONS: 1. Front console drink holders were apparently made for one large drink or two small drinks comfortably. 2. Don't plan on to much trunk/cargo space. It is not made for soccer moms and all their equipment. 3. Not too many tire companies have Fiat sized tires. Make sure to shop around. Compare prices when you find them.

I was looking for a specific car that was at this CarMax. Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. Between Jonathan and Adam, the sales manager i was able to close the deal and drive back to home within an hour. I am completely pleased with the car and 100% satisfied with the dealership. My car has a name. I named her Felicity. I've owned 2 sports cars before, but only weekend cars. Now Felicity IS my daily driver and I love it! I get compliments and she's surly a head turner! Fiat is overall reliable.. also she's a little four cylinder engine. Specifically, that features a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo four cylinder engine. I was told to stick to the 2019 model and to avoid years 2018 AND 2020. Felicity is a 2019 and this year is selected for the best engine experience. But only has 26k miles only! so singers crossed that further expensive repairs don't kick-in in the future lol

My husband and I visited Hyundai of Lincolnwood to purchase a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe for our growing family. From beginning to end, the experience overall was wonderful. We had the pleasure of working with Ron M. He kept us up-to-speed every step of the way, which made the long wait time (expected when buying) a whole lot less unpleasant. The only con was going on a Saturday. I've also never been on a solo test drive, but it was a refreshing experience. It made it a lot easier to feel the car out before committing to buy. I appreciated the no-pressure approach.

Purchased preowned, Pop model, 5 speed manual, non-turbo 1.4 multiair engine. Loved this car, distinctive from ho-hum daily driver crackerbox cars with Italian Euro style. Excellent 40 mpg highway, 30 city. Great interior for 2, economical way to enjoy zipping around exploring. Can hold a surprising amount of items, too. Decent stock radio. Maintenance experience, routine, but had to replace a rear wheel bearing and occasionally experienced stuck rear disc brake caliper. Highway ride compliant enough, absorbs bumps okay and car handled well in tight turns, but take care not to push too hard with short wheelbase. Handled snow surprisingly well with winter tires. Caution, could use a backup camera, poor rearward visibility. Be alert in lane changing. Great shifting 5 speed gearbox. Engine and exhaust note cool. Sounds different! Acceleration okay off the line, needs room for passing and has little power for the long hills, but, hey, for the price (and character) allow for it! Let the Pickup and SUV guys have it their way, if you like small cars you may just plain enjoy driving what the critics dislike and save some $$ in the process, especially with gas prices climbing. Understand the bad experience of some folks but for me it worked out okay. Looking forward to trying another one.

Best covertible under $30k used. Italian styling/handling and Japanese reliability. What a car. As a previous 911 and SL 300 owner, I prefer this as a toy without the expensive repairs. All parts are Japanese and repairs are minimum. Best KEPT secret, buy a classic car, and enjoy for years! Handling is insane! Not a daily driver!

I was in an accident and needed a car asap! Check in hand I walked into Lucky Motors not knowing what to expect from the reviews. Thank God I went here first! They saved me what could amount to 6-8 hours in another dealership. Chris was nice and to the point. The Fiat 500 Lounge is a great value and fun to drive. The 1.4L zips the car around cities with authority thanks to the 5 speed.. For a sub compact it's quite luxurious and quiet. Not all of the interior elements are of high quality; however, the overall package is definitely greater than the sum of its parts. It's also very economical. Totally recommend!
