Fiat didn't market the 500 correctly. I had a 500 Sport manual that I bought new. It is amazingly fun to drive, incredibly fuel efficient (37+ mpg at a minimum) and a ton of room when you fold the seats down. I went from a Porsche 911 turbo as my daily driver to the cinquecento (500 in Italian). The Fiat was more fun to drive basically because you could floor it everywhere and when I'd look at the speedometer I'd be going 52 mph! In the Porsche I'd be going 130. I drove it multiple times over a thousand miles in a day. Seats were comfortable, sat radio, and Beats sound system rocked. I sold it and bought an i3. Never had a problem with the Fiat. Inexpensive to maintain and the Fiat dealer was great for service. Fun to drive, utilitarian, and great gas mileage. I wish I still had it. If I had a giant garage, I would have kept it.

I'm 6'8". Its hard to find cars I fit in period. That being said. I have a taste for small rockets. And the (GQ) fiat 500 sport I have fits the bill. Basically an abarth motor. But not the handling or cool badges/interior. None the less. My big butt fits in it. Got to crank the seat way back. But it's just me in there most of the time. Its a fun little car that rips corners and stupid fun turbo pulls in 2nd and 3rd gear. Watch that esc light flash. Good fun. And the price for a used one ain't bad. Digging the 500

The 500x has a sporty suspension and sports car feel. Steering is tight and braking is sensitive. Doesn't hurt to get good has mileage as well.

I have had 2 Fiats. One is a 2012 Pop @ 190,000 miles. I've had it ten years and passed it along to my oldest. Second is a 2013 Sport @ 103,000. Ive had it 2 years and passed it along to my youngest. Now I am lookin for my forever Fiat, a 2015. PROS: 1. These vehicles are small and very dependable. A tank of gas will last me 2 weeks and my husband 3 weeks. 2. Great response in handling. 3. Perfect for around the town driving 4. Parking is a breeze, especially with double parkers. CONS: 1. Front console drink holders were apparently made for one large drink or two small drinks comfortably. 2. Don't plan on to much trunk/cargo space. It is not made for soccer moms and all their equipment. 3. Not too many tire companies have Fiat sized tires. Make sure to shop around. Compare prices when you find them.

Ok so I’ve been in the market for a vehicle for some time now. Been to countless dealerships and they are all the same make you wait and Wasted my time week after week until we came here and talked to Malcolm. Had this car 3 years, and I’m planning to keep it longer, despite its faults. I have the 2016 500x 2ltr diesel, 4x4 auto version. All good, apart from... AC stopped working - and will be very costly to fix; and Intermittent gearbox problem - generally happens after a few hundred miles at motorway speed. Dealer doesn’t know what to do, out of warranty, and they deny there was a recall - which, if you google, is really easy to find.
