We purchased a pre-owned Toyota 4Runner from Tamiami Ford, and have had a GREAT experience with the whole process. The sales person Shawn was polite, caring, and knowledgeable, and lined up several vehicles that matched our search criteria. When we arrived, we found the campus of the dealership to be clean and well-organized. Shawn met us and allowed us to test-drive three vehicles of different price ranges. The vehicles were clean and had undergone a rigorous inspection by the dealership. Shawn did not pressure us at any point, and answered all our questions. We also realized that the 4Runner that we eventually purchased had new tires that had been installed by the dealer. The procedure to sign the purchase documents was handled by James who was also a consumate professional. James walked us through all the documents, and initiated the loan application and the plate transfer. We have been driving our 4Runner for almost two months now, and are very grateful to Tamiami Ford, Shawn, and James for the excellent care and service they extended to us. (Feb 2026)

Going back to a Ford after a 3 year lease with a different brand was made very easy with Van Bortel Ford. The only issue was getting an inspection on a lease return from the 3rd party. There was a F150 on the lot with all the options we wanted. And the tech guy Yan broke down all the thing of ma jigs & gadgets so an older person understands. Dropped off my 2018 Sonata cause the check engine light came on. A few days later got a text saying i needed a Engine Wire Harness + other items but totaling over 4k$. So i call to see if it was under warranty. They call the warranty people and say they will get back to me on Friday 1/19/2024. Friday they call and let me know car is ready to be picked up. I only paid 100+$ for oil change works package. Turns out the tech mixed up cars can you believe it? Just happy i dont got to pay a fortune to have it fixed.
