Owned a Crown Vic from 1999-2007 ... was a used 96 model ... very easy to work on and make modifications too. Never had any maintenance problems ... ran strong ... reliable. Though they come a little rough around the edges... the car is still stylish... throw some dark tint on it.... rims and tires.... etc (if that's your kind of thing) Car will last you forever .. IF you take care of it.. I bought mine used with 69k .... took care of me through 225k ... before i got rid of it for a 2005 Nissan Titan

I have driven and owned all types of Crown Victoria's for over 40 years. I buy them for safety, safety and safety. I buy them at auctions. They are well-made, economical on fuel and comfortable. I don't buy white or red cars. I prefer the police package version, particularly those without body damage or bullet holes. I prefer Firestone Firehawk or comparable tires for SAFETY and especially HANDLING. My 2009 model came equipped with four airbags...once again, SAFETY. I would highly recommend this well-designed vehicle.

I am very pleased with my purchase. I was looking for something that is tried and true; a car that will re reliable and get me to where I need to go. This car does just that. It is not the best ride as far as comfort or styling, but I wasn't looking for that. I needed a car that would perform and this one does just fine. It is a retired police chief's car so I like the fact that people slow down when I am behind then as they cannot see yet that I am not the law. :-)

Good selection, only problem is that there are no elcaminos near Schwenksville pa where I live

Due to the torque of vehicle I suggest you take a safety driving course as well as keeping tire maintenance in upkeep! Because the rain will challenge your driving skills!

I called about a 2014 Chevrolet Express G3500 LT 15 Passenger Van and right away felt comfortable with the phone conversation with Syed but still wants to see it in person before the purchase. Syed assured me that the Van besides some cosmetic issues runs and drives fine. I flew in to OHare and was picked up by Palash who was friendly and courteous. I was greeted at the Dealership by a nice young lady Maria and Brian showed me the Van and went on a test drive with me. I fell in love with the Van and I told Syed that the scratches on the Van were over described. It was better than what I expected and I quickly wrapped up the deal. I drove home the same day and made it back to WY without any issues and had it for a while now and still have not spend a penny on it. these cars are just an engineering masterpiece, even thoguh being designed in 1998, these crownvics still look very modern the 4.6L SOHC V8 is literally unkillable, it once got over heated in the middle of the road as the fan broke, and it ran for ONE HOUR straight after it over heated the enine still ran when i arrived at the mechanic its just impressive. other vehicles literally shut down immediately it over heats the AC will freeze you in just a few minutes. its just impressive how i hve 27.5 MPG on this car even though it has a V8. n wonder why these were used as police and taxi cars

Roomy and comfortable. Has great gas mileage in city and o the highway. Very roomy inside and the trunk has lots of space as well.

This was formally an undercover unit from the Tampa PD. It was maintained regularly and kept in overall top running condition. The body was rust free. These Vics are pretty much bullet proof and parts are cheap and readily available. Many of these cars were built and are still on the road. Great daily driver if you want to be safe. Large heavy car, but it does drink plenty of gas.

When my car was totaled by flooding, I had a budget of just under 3,000 to find a vehicle. Something reliable. I decided on a decommissioned Police Interceptor. Knowing the vehicle had been maintained professionally every month of it's life bought some piece of mind. The vehicle has been nothing but reliable since I brought it home. Power to spare, plenty of leg room. The only down sides are the mileage, which honestly is fine for a car this size, and the sheer mass of the vehicle which makes parking and navigating tight spots more challenging, but that same size is a blessing as well, I can comfortable seat five and uncomfortably seat seven, not including the massive trunk. It's a lot of car for the money.

Edit to prior review: We had an issue with a used CRV we bought there after a few days and had to bring it back but they did end up fixing it for us.

I currently own a 2005 ford crown victoria LX. I bought this car from a private buyer 2 years ago for 850 dollars thinking it would have problems. It did, as with all used cars. That was at 274k on the odometer. It just rolled 521k yesterday after 2 years of owning it and last month I just replaced the factory intake manifold at 520k. These cars are the epitome of reliability as long as you take care of them. The car is heavy, it eats gasoline, sure. But if you need a truck and don't want a truck, get a crown vic. I chase storms with this and drove it well over the speed limit on ice and rain and have not once lost traction or hydroplaned.

Brian did a fantastic job throughout the entire process. He was very knowledgeable about all the different features the vehicle and took the time to make sure we knew how to use them. Lisa in the finance department really knows her job and works with you every step of the process to get you in and out as quickly as possible.

Even though it was assembled in Canada the major components were made in the states that provided a living wage to those involved. It's too bad that production ended in 2011 but because they last so long with proper care sales declined over the years.
