I had to have my Honda Pilot towed to RSM Honda because the starter had gone out. Doug Jezowski - Service Drive Manager - assisted me, and as usual, I received prompt attention even in the absence of an appointment. The Pilot was serviced as soon as the part was ordered and received and although the cost of the part and repairs seemed exceptionally high, Honda gave me a much needed discount. This pleased me very much!

Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.

car performes well , overall satisfied with it , but it has a rust issue ! rust under the rear wheel frame on both sides , rust under the rear lift gate , chrome on the wheel reems peeling .

Purchased this car used in 2017 with 42k on it. Currently at 144k has the 2.0l and AWD. I’ve switched immediately to full synthetic, done coolant flushes, and changed all fluids. We have 2 Escapes now 14/16 both with 2.0 and AWD. Love them. We do the preventative maintenance. Hopefully we hit 300k. Most of my previous vehicles have done 266k and 400k.

Very reliable, 2.0 ecoboost will fly. It’s too fast at times and tires slip. FWD not AWD. Holds up well. Good little SUV. Comfortable seats.

I Loved my 2019 Ford Escape! It was my third Escape, as I previously owned a 2005, and a 2011! Sadly, it was my last as FORD's new version of the Escape is AWFUL! I NEVER had one issue with my 2019, and I drove over 94,000 miles over the 6 1/2 Years that I owned it! However, the resale value SUCKS! I know it's just the game they play at the dealers, but it's an ugly game where the consumer always loses! But - it's only money,,, and you can't take it with you!

This vehicle has been awesome from the day I first started driving it. Great on gas, engine is very responsive and reliable. A/C is very cold and the starts so nicely every time. The engine has all the power you would ever need. This one is a 2.0 Turbo. I have kept this car serviced regularly and it has performed flawlessly.

Purchased the car with 20,000 miles and the engine had to be replaced at 42,000 miles, Ford paid to have it done. Other than that the car has been very good.

We already had a 2016 S model that was trouble free for 4 years and currently 48k miles. I replaced my spare car with the 2013 SEL AWD loaded like a Titanium. After 2 years it has been fantastic. Only trouble was 2 bad rear wheel speed sensors. Cost me $54 in parts to replace myself. Many 250 mile interstate round trip drives and never an issue. It had 62k miles when I bought it with full documentation of all minor repairs and maintenance. Regardless of reviews I got a good one. Check the history, check out before you buy, and you can find a good one like I did. They are not all bad.

The good news? I found my car. The bad news? It was in Fontana! I live in Mission Viejo, O.C. What's even worse, the ride I arranged to take me back to pick it up, was taken to hospital with covid. Yikes! Well, I struggled to find an alternative ride yet it seems people just don't like Fontana. THANKFULLY, I had MATHEW as my salesman. He was a dream the moment I walked on the lot. MATHEW was very polite, non intrusive and he answered every question I had. I live on disability which isn't a lot but he helped me make a great deal and I was very happy. WHEW! Now, how to get it home. After 4 days, I still hadn't found a ride back to Fontana to pick up my new (Used) outback. MATHEW saved the day. He said he would deliver the Outback to me...And he did. Owned my 1012 Escape LTD AWD for 14 years. No major problems whatsoever. It has towed household items in the large UHaul trailer with ease. It has hauled home construction items in the back and on top. It has done long road trips. And, with all that, has averaged over 23 MPG! Faithful Long Term Vehicle...Many Miles to Go!

Purchased this used 2016 Ford Escape SE Ecoboost 4WD (108k miles) from our local Lithia Ford dealer, and I commute 64 miles a day from home to work, and so far I am very impressed. the little 1.6 liter engine has a big heart, and a fun amount of power. The seats are high quality, and the best my wife & I have encountered so far (we rent a lot of cars from Enterprise). Handles great, and feels like a bigger car. The only cons so far : High beam switch takes getting used too. From steering wheel to display touch screen, the wiper control arm is always in the way, turning on wipers. Can't wait for winter to try out 4wd :)

Lots to like about the Escape: Decent gas mileage, performance and looks. Very reliable. Downsides: terrible traction in the snow, poor performance. I would recommend this vehicle if you're looking basic transportation.
