He answered all my questions, let me put a deposit down to hold it until I could come back in and even helped me get an extra key fob! This vehicle has been awesome from the day I first started driving it. Great on gas, engine is very responsive and reliable. A/C is very cold and the starts so nicely every time. The engine has all the power you would ever need. This one is a 2.0 Turbo. I have kept this car serviced regularly and it has performed flawlessly.

My daughter and I were traveling from WI to Iowa, when about 15 miles from the dealership, my check engine light came on. I went directly to the dealership. Without an appointment, they were able to get me in, figure out the problem, fix it and get us on our way. I was so grateful that we weren't turned away and that they made time in their schedule to fit us in! They kept me informed the entire time and sent us on our way 3 hours later. Very grateful and appreciative!!!

Purchased the car with 20,000 miles and the engine had to be replaced at 42,000 miles, Ford paid to have it done. Other than that the car has been very good.

Have had mine for 4 years and it has been one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Mine is the SE trim which is not fancy, but has all the basics and more. The seats are comfortable on long drives. The controls are easy to use and properly placed foe ease of use. The 2.0 L engine is surprisingly peppy. The ride is smooth and comfortable for a small SUV.

This is my 2nd Escape in 12 years. I drive for a living and I love feeling safe on the road. I've had no problems with this car. I personally have put over 400,000 miles on it in just 4 years. Take care of your car, and your car will take care of you.

I have a 2013 ford escape se awd and just eclipse 213,000 miles !! Escape is still running strong! Had to do normal maintenance and enjoyed owning this car

Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.

car performes well , overall satisfied with it , but it has a rust issue ! rust under the rear wheel frame on both sides , rust under the rear lift gate , chrome on the wheel reems peeling .

I bought mine used with 17,000 miles for $17,000, and it's a 2017. I guess 17 was the lucky number lol. My Escape drives well, feels very comfortable, and is pretty good on gas (average 4 banger gas milage ) beats any 6 or 8 cylinder. I have the base model , so the engine isn't the fastest, but I'm not racing anyone ever. I never feel underpowered, or unsafe on highways. This little truck holds own in any senerio. I'm not sure why people are giving negative reviews maybe competitors trying to sell their brands🤔 . This is a good suv , and it looks great. I would buy it again, it keeps me warm and safe in Chicago winters. Cranks everytime I turn the key even in sub zero temps. I remember Chicago being the coldest place on the planet for 24 hours a couple of years ago. I worked that night I believe it was -50 or close with the wind chill. I worked that night as a nurse , my escape ran like a trooper. If a vehicle runs in Chicago winters .....it's a tank and passes my test hands down. My 2011 BMW x 3 ummmm.....failed as a winter vehicle. It costed twice as much BEFORE THE "CHIP SHORTAGE" PRICES . Need I say more ????

Dealt with this CarMax dealer over the phone and email. Tried to negotiate a price based on other dealers in the area for the same vehicle and was told that the price listed was the price you pay!

Overall ratings are awesome. Very good vehicle's!! Styling exterior design, turbo engine good gas mileage. Comfortable seats heated. Good size cargo area. Reliability, good value reputation.

Bought a new 2018 escape with a 2.5L,it now has 151,000 miles,other than 3 batteries that Ford replaced for free and $2,028.00 on brakes,4 plugs,2 coil packs and some front end work it has performed outstanding,kept the oil changed with Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and have had literally NO problems,I see it easily making over 200,000 miles.

I Loved my 2019 Ford Escape! It was my third Escape, as I previously owned a 2005, and a 2011! Sadly, it was my last as FORD's new version of the Escape is AWFUL! I NEVER had one issue with my 2019, and I drove over 94,000 miles over the 6 1/2 Years that I owned it! However, the resale value SUCKS! I know it's just the game they play at the dealers, but it's an ugly game where the consumer always loses! But - it's only money,,, and you can't take it with you!

Owned my 1012 Escape LTD AWD for 14 years. No major problems whatsoever. It has towed household items in the large UHaul trailer with ease. It has hauled home construction items in the back and on top. It has done long road trips. And, with all that, has averaged over 23 MPG! Faithful Long Term Vehicle...Many Miles to Go!

I recently had to bring my used car in for a vibrating brake pedal, and the service I received was outstanding. The experience was impressive from the moment I drove in; a machine automatically checked my car's alignment on the way into the service bay, which is very impressive. -- What really set them apart was the customer service. Not only did they provide a convenient shuttle to and from work, but they were also completely transparent and honest about the repair. Instead of pushing for the more expensive option, they suggested I resurface the rotors, which saved me money. -- That kind of integrity is few and far between; it earned my complete trust. I had a fantastic experience, highly recommended!

Purchased this car used in 2017 with 42k on it. Currently at 144k has the 2.0l and AWD. I’ve switched immediately to full synthetic, done coolant flushes, and changed all fluids. We have 2 Escapes now 14/16 both with 2.0 and AWD. Love them. We do the preventative maintenance. Hopefully we hit 300k. Most of my previous vehicles have done 266k and 400k.

I needed a new vehicle and had decided to upgrade from my previous cars. A Cadillac was on my short list, so we started with Napleton Cadillac in Rockford. As we were looking at the cars, we were greeted by Alex, who brought us into the showroom to chat so he could find out more about us and what we were looking for. We took a beautiful new XT5 out for a test drive, and then went back in to chat more and get more information. I told Alex that I was just beginning my search, and he very nicely asked if he could give me a card, which of course, I took. Over the weekend he emailed me to explain current offers and rebates. After looking at a few other brands, I decided on an XT5, so we went in the following week to further discuss a purchase and look at a few new and preowned cars. Alex took the time to explain the specs on each one, making sure that I understood what each car had to offer. He wanted to make sure that I would be happy with the model I chose. Buying a car is a long process, but the Napleton showroom is very comfortable, and the fresh coffee and snacks kept us going! By the time we finished with the purchase, night had fallen and I wasn't comfortable driving a new car in the dark. Alex offered to have it delivered the next day. My beautiful new XT5 arrived the next morning at the appointed hour, freshly washed and detailed. Alex stayed to help us set up our Onstar service and get acquainted with my car. The overall service was simply impeccable. From the beginning to the end, I never felt any pressure, and everyone at Napleton made us feel very important and welcome. Car was purchased new in 2015. Overall I rate the car as 4 out of 5. Rear brakes need improvement such as chrome slider rails which would reduce sticking. Forward weight transfer on hard braking could be controlled better. There is one expressway exit where the upper weight transfer is a problem ( as it is with most SUV''s). The steering is precise, with no real surprises ( other than at that one poorly designed xway exit).

They are in the midst of expanding their car lot and do not have a structured building. They only have a mobile unit currently on the property so it's a bit disorganized right now. Sales personnel did not seem very friendly but they also aren't pushy which I liked. Most of the cars exteriors were really dirty from a dust storm that occurred a couple of weeks ago. They have a large inventory of vehicle choices.

I have 2014 Ecoboost titanium, lots of recalls, going on 240 thousand miles on it ,routine maitainance ,but last wk turbo went out , so I must be one of the lucky ones hoping to hit the 300 mark
