I Loved my 2019 Ford Escape! It was my third Escape, as I previously owned a 2005, and a 2011! Sadly, it was my last as FORD's new version of the Escape is AWFUL! I NEVER had one issue with my 2019, and I drove over 94,000 miles over the 6 1/2 Years that I owned it! However, the resale value SUCKS! I know it's just the game they play at the dealers, but it's an ugly game where the consumer always loses! But - it's only money,,, and you can't take it with you!

I bought a used 2020 Ford escape hybrid titanium with 33,000 miles. I came from a 2015 X3 and I am surprised how well this car handles and feels firmly planted. I love the electric driving at slow speeds and you can hear the gas engine come on and it’s louder than my BMW, but I am still pleasantly surprised by the low level of road noise at highway speeds. Mine is Persian green, which is rare, and absolutely beautiful after I waxed it. The exterior is pretty good, considering its price range, and the interior is subpar with the hard plastic on the doors, but overall, the controls are very intuitive, easily reachable, and after I learned how to use all the options, my favorite feature is the adaptive cruise control with stop and go and lane centering. The car basically just drives itself, even in the city at low speeds. I just have to make the turns and stop at red lights and stop signs if there is no car in front of me. I also love the short stopping distances with the brakes, which feel great and confidence-inspiring, and the steering actually feels better than in my BMW, which was too light at highway speeds. Another feature that sold me was how much legroom there is in the backseat, especially the fact that you can recline the backseat a little bit and also push it a few inches back to create more legroom. There is definitely more legroom in the front and back than in my BMW, even though my BMW was a few inches longer than this car. I love the look of the RAV4 hybrid XLE and it has more cargo room, but if you check the user reviews, you’ll see that the Escape hybrid actually beats it in mpg and in my area, I would’ve paid $8k - $9k more for a similar used RAV4 so I felt like the Escape hybrid was a better value overall. I rarely buy extended warranties with cars, but I did with this one since it was such a good deal at only $4000 but it gave me seven years of extended coverage and up to 80,000 more miles, whichever comes first. Considering how tariffs will affect car part pricing and car repair bills, I thought this was a an exceptional value, just like the car itself. I’ve only had it for three weeks, but I am really enjoying driving the car and seeing how little gas it sips.

CarMax is sending me emails to help me find a used Honda Accord .Havent found one I want yet but still trying. I do appreciate the help from CarMax.

Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.

We bought our 2016 Ford Escape new in 2015. it has been a great vehicle and trouble free the entire time.We currently have approximately 155000 miles on the vehicle and would certainly buy another Escape.It still looks and runs as new and everyone thinks it's a new car even now.

Bought a new 2018 escape with a 2.5L,it now has 151,000 miles,other than 3 batteries that Ford replaced for free and $2,028.00 on brakes,4 plugs,2 coil packs and some front end work it has performed outstanding,kept the oil changed with Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and have had literally NO problems,I see it easily making over 200,000 miles.

I purchased a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee from here about 5 years ago,and still drive it today. It is a great vehicle,and i have had no issues with it. The service department is good,and has always treated me with respect and do a quality job. I will most certainly buy another vehicle from them.

Very reasonable price tag. Good vehicle's, and the fuel mileage is efficient. Ride has a nice quality to it. Comfortable seats, heated. Cargo area is spacious, including the top luggage rack. Towing capacity is pretty good. These vehicles are absolutely popular, hold up on there value reputation.

Purchased this used 2016 Ford Escape SE Ecoboost 4WD (108k miles) from our local Lithia Ford dealer, and I commute 64 miles a day from home to work, and so far I am very impressed. the little 1.6 liter engine has a big heart, and a fun amount of power. The seats are high quality, and the best my wife & I have encountered so far (we rent a lot of cars from Enterprise). Handles great, and feels like a bigger car. The only cons so far : High beam switch takes getting used too. From steering wheel to display touch screen, the wiper control arm is always in the way, turning on wipers. Can't wait for winter to try out 4wd :)

This vehicle has been awesome from the day I first started driving it. Great on gas, engine is very responsive and reliable. A/C is very cold and the starts so nicely every time. The engine has all the power you would ever need. This one is a 2.0 Turbo. I have kept this car serviced regularly and it has performed flawlessly.

I turned to DuVal Ford because their web page showed the new Ford truck that I was seeking. All purchase arrangements were made by phone or email and the vehicle was delivered to my home at a good distance from the dealer. All my questions have been answered quickly and satisfactorily. Due to distance, I will probably be getting service at my local Ford dealer.

Reviewed in 2025. I bought this 2010 in 2013 and mileage is now almost 250k with only a few wear and tear issues AFTER 200k miles! (starter, master cylinder and TPMS sensors, all lasted much longer than they are predicted to last). I read several issues about acceleration, but this is a limited therefor it has a V6 and I never have issues with acceleration (0-60 in a little over 7 seconds). The backup camera is in the mirror which is small but I like that hidden feature... I also like the proximity sensor beeping. This SUV has been great for commuting or long trips, always reliable and fun to drive.

Let me tell you a little story, I bought 2 new cars from Michael Garcia. A Ford Edge ST and a Ford Eco Sport. I live all the way in Springfield Ga ( Up 95 N, the last exit before entering South Carolina. ) about a 2 hour drive. The reason for the drive is not only for the best prices around, but also for the knowledge, experience, welcoming way my wife and I interacted with Michael. A year goes buy and a check engine light pops up on my Eco Sport and I reach out to Michael. He immediately scheduled a tow truck to pick up and deliver it to JC Lewis Ford in Savannah Ga It was the closest Ford dealership to my house. JC Lewis informs me that my fuel pump is bad. This is where the nightmare with JC Lewis begins. After telling me that it will be only a day or 2, im finally contacted a week later saying my engine was ruined. The Eco Sport only had 20k miles. JC Lewis says they need to see what can be done after hinting that I would be responsible for to cost. Even while having a full bumper to bumper warranty. I ask for a rental and am told they don't have any. 2 weeks go by with no progress no retal no loaner. I relay all this to Michael and I'm immediately contacted by a car rental company saying Michael has lined up a rental for me. He says he will see what he can do. Even though my car wasn't even at his dealership, Michael works with me to open a case with Ford Corporate. Long story short, Corporate finds all fault with JC Lewis and gets the warranty work done while having to give a daily update to me and my rep from Corporate. After a moth, I finally get the car back but after the whole ordeal with JC Lewis my wife no longer trust the Eco Sport. Back to Michael I reach out to. He works with us for hours over the next few days answering all of our questions, digging through inventory all around trying to find cars that my wife would like, and even works dozens of different quotes for many many cars. We finally find one that is perfect and Michael remembers that my wife is in the military from our previous deal and does 99% of the work before we even get there hours later. When we arrive in Kingsland we see my wife's brand new 2022 Ford Edge cleaned, polished, and parked under the awning with my wife's name printed on a banner that says VIP and placed on the windshield. My wife was so excited seeing her new car shinning beautifully with her name on it. Then to her surprise most all paperwork was done by Michael and we only needed a few signatures. After about an hour, she is on her way extremely happy in her new car with a full tank of gas. Im sitting at Murray Ford today for a service on my Edge ST and wanted anyone who reads this that no matter how much gas is, I will gladly drive the 2 hours here and 2 hours home to have our vehicles looked after by Murray Ford. Why? I've lost ALLLLLL trust and respect for JC Lewis. I will come here because here I am treated like family, I trust that my vehicles will be taken care of and my time and money is respected. I feel welcomed here at Murray. These people actually care about everyone who walks through their doors. If you want to be treated like a person with your own life story and respected instead of being seen as a cash grab then I can not recommend enough that you take the time to give these reps to earn your business. Ill only shop from here from now on. I urge you to ask for Michael Garcia. Teel him that you read this review. This guy deserves all the respect for all he has done for me and my family. Purchased the car with 20,000 miles and the engine had to be replaced at 42,000 miles, Ford paid to have it done. Other than that the car has been very good.
