This is a great truck. Good acceleration, towing, and four-wheel drive. I am definitely a Ford lover now. Can't go wrong with this truck. Mine is a 5.0L and can't find a fault with it after four years of ownership.

2016 is a good yr since there is limited electronic safety features. Truck has excellent ride, is quiet and gets great gas mileage with the 2.7 liter V6. My F150 has a 36 gallon tank and I've gotten over 1000 miles per fill up.

I should have gotten a 4 wheel drive to begin with. Traded in a 2018 F-150 STX 2X4 that was a nice truck but this is definitely an upgrade! The 3.5L accelerates quickly (beware leadfoot!) and pulls much easier than the 2.7L I traded away. Little difference in fuel mileage (I'm averaging around 1.4 mpg less with the larger engine) but worth the trade off. The interior is loaded with power, heated seats (both), upgraded navigation system and better quality stereo system. Heated mirrors and sliding rear window are a nice touch. This is my first 4X4 and it was really surprised at the torque output pulling out a couple of small trees and hauling away a 65' pine we had cut down. Much easier and more powerful than the 2.7L offered! Got it with low mileage and a pretty decent trade-in deal too. Think I'll keep it until the wheels fall off!

They had a low milage Acura RSX 5 speed for a great price and I bought it. There was no negotiating because it was a good price already. Lariat model. 3.5 ecoboost engine. Great vehicle. Lots of extras. 4wd works well in OBX sand. I converted from chevy silverado. Ford won me over.

I have a 2019 F-150 XLT and it drives excellent even with a 3.5 V6. The towing is great. I would recommend this truck to anyone.

I can't say enough good things about the service department at Hessert Chevrolet. I purchased a 2019 Colorado and the next day had an issue. A good truck but I think was built on a Friday. Ive had trucks of other makes including Ford which I have preferred for last 10 years. This truck has spent its fair share of time at the dealer for minor things dash rattle, rear diff leak, 2x rear main engine seal leak, transfer case leak etc, rough 3rd-5th shifts when freezing and cold for first few blocks. All of which Ford has fixed on warranty. I had a 2018 f-150 with same powertrain that never had an issue sooo like I said I think was built on a Friday. Looks good inside and out. The cold start turbo waste-gate rattle is annoying. Gets better than advertised gas mileage tho. 4x4, towing and winter driving are great. Wish Ford would offer a model like the Silverado RST just leather premium audio and a corvette engine in a truck that can tow over 10k. Tired of up selling for features I want with garbage safety or tech features like drive assist etc. Augmented v8 notes r annoying and I miss limited slip. Would I buy another? Yes. Will I? Depends on if Fords reputation, reviews and reliability as usual.

My 5L, 2018 F150 keeps having problems with coils. Since there is one per cylinder and the cost of replacing one is quite high. This has become a problem. I love my truck, but this gives me cause to consider GMC next time.

This is the third F150 I have owned, by far the best, 60,000 miles have not had to fix anything, Did brakes and tires around 55k, limousine quiet inside, 5.0. l coyote engine has impressive power and decent mileage

Paid off, Now the Heater doesn’t work, Left wiper arm fell off in the rain. Shifter knocks/Clunks, Otherwise reliable truck. Need heating to work please.

I bought my F 150 Lariet new in September 2008. It has been a good truck. I have a problem with what the dealer says is a fan behind the dashboard. When using A/C or fan control I get an annoying rattle from the dash. The dealer quotes $1,500. For repairs. This is outrageous. I can't believe I am the only owner with this issue. Should maybe be under recall?

STX 4X4 crew cab 2.7 eco. Bought new in Sept 2018. Overall, this truck has been very reliable, albeit a few issues. I’ll list them.. 1st thing was the transmission would slam from 3rd to 4th or 5th gear. Was fixed under warranty with a software re-flash. Then the rear brakes at 30K miles. I ended up doing a brake upgrade all around. It was a huge improvement in performance.. hope they last longer. Then the wiper switch followed by the ACIM for the sync system. That’s it in 6 years. All Maintenance has been kept up with and I've had zero engine issues. I’m at 66000 miles. Comfort on long trips is great and the truck continues to track straight with ease. I replaced the worn tires at 62000 miles with larger Nitto Ridge grapplers which have definitely decreased mpg and acceleration performance but look and perform amazingly in snow. I wouldn’t hesitate on buying another.

I recently traded in my 2015 F150 platinum after owning for 8 years. I bought used with 42k miles on it with the 3.5 ecoboost. I loved the comfort of driving and the style of it. Couldn’t have been a better experience driving it on all the long trips. Unfortunately I settled with the engine instead of waiting for a 5.0 to be available. The problems started with 2 weeks of buying the sunroof broke then at 60k miles with the transmission dying. Turbo lines were leaking fluid costing $4k to fix. Back window track falling on to my daughter’s car seat. Head gasket seal replaced at 100k miles. TPMS failed and never replaced them for $700. Air conditioner had issues here and there after so long Max A/C was like normal fan on high. Other miscellaneous sensors were replaced. Overall I had $26k in service repairs. Thank goodness I had an extended warranty or it would’ve been gone a long time ago. Sadly I got to 150k miles and the sunroof broke again after minimal usage throughout the years. With out a warranty anymore I couldn’t go down this road again.

I use to own a 2003 f150 for 18 years it was great except for fuel milage, when I purchased this truck in 2024 , the rear window leaks but only when it rains hard, overall I refuse to drive any other truck.

Very dependable, Very useful, and Very Fun to own. This truck is at 206,000 miles and everything still works as the day I bought it. I could not express how much I love it. It has the 3.5 ecoboost twin turbo engine and the fx4 luxury package it eats dodges and craps on chevy. Please note that if you currently have the 3.5 Eco boost or 2.7 Eco boost to change oil every 3 to 4k due to the high temp your oil gets because you have turbos the 5.0 v8 doesn't have turbos btw

I have owned a 2016 f150 since July 1 2016. Bought it new and it now has 92000 miles and drives and handles and looks as good as it did new. Id rate it a7on a 1-5 scale!!!
