I had a great experience working with everyone at Chevrolet of Troy! It was the easiest and most convenient sale I?ve ever made! Thank you to a bunch of of great guys.

I bought my 2012 F150 FX4 Ecoboost brand new in February 2012. I currently have 64k miles on it. I have never had a mechanical issue with it. Regular preventative maintenance has kept it very reliable. It has a comfortable and quiet ride for a truck. I have towed 3 different campers with it ranging from 5k-8k pounds. The Ecoboost easily handles the towing with plenty of HP and torque. Just don't expect great gas mileage while towing, 7-9mph. Without towing on the highway, I can average 19mph. For a half ton truck, I tow my 35ft camper with no concerns. It's a comfortable commuter truck too. I love my truck!

Ford surprised me.
Bought 99 xlt 4x4 in 2015. I live in Iowa. I do a lot of hunting and wood hauling. So I use the 4x4 a lot. I pull a 5x8x3 trailer when wood cutting and load the truck and trailer down heavy. She grunts a little but enough power there to get it done. Only been stuck in the snow once due to clearance and have tested it's yanking power pulling bigger vehicles out that were in there pretty good. It's supposed me. I've replaced minimal parts. Gas tank was the biggest chore. Standard rust out. Biggest engine problem to diagnose was the fuel filter. Engine knocks like a diesel engine but has plenty of power and keeps on ticking. Change oil every 5k or close to it. Plenty of cab room and leg room. Maintenance has been minimal I guess. Would buy another if the deal was right. Current mileage 186kish. It's due for some bigger maintenance now. Front end parts kit brakes rotors all around and rear seals. Not bad for a truck that's seen a lot more gravel roads than hiways. Rust is average. Rocker panels and starting on the front of box. It's been a good truck.

Bought-2001 F-150 King Ranch Crew Cab, 5.
Bought-2001 F-150 King Ranch Crew Cab, 5.4, 4x4, 4 seat Sport interior, with every option available that year. Today, has 317,632 miles and never worked on exept for normal maintenance items, and runs perfect, getting around 14 mpg. Pull my boat, 9 tons from Fla, to NC including it's 310 gallons of fuel at 52 mph the whole trip. Do I love this truck? You better believe it, not another truck anywhere could preform like this, and it had, 270,000 miles on it when I bought it!!!!

I bought my truck new and it's still running great with over 260K miles. I changed the oil every 3K then switched years ago to synthetic and know every 5K and transmission fluid every 30K. I maintain the vehicle when required per owners manual if not before. This truck has gone everywhere hunting and driving the back roads of Arizona and now Alabama. Never had a quad or sidexside as my truck served that roll. Very satisfied as vehicle has cost me on average $154.33 a month to maintain over the past 238 months since new.

The moment I walked through the door, I knew this was the dealership for me. First things first, no pressure! I was braced to be swarmed as soon as I walked. But no, just a wide selection of vehicles, chill sales people and most importantly no pressure to buy. I told them the car I wanted to test drive. They copied my license, gave me the keys and plates and sent me on my way. The car was perfect with a few items to be addressed. They resolved all issues without any pushback. Gave me a fair price on my trade in, and sold me a wonderful car. I am happy! I highly recommend Rides Unlimited! Thank you Steven Partida and Karl Wilfinger for your assistance.

I love my truck it has 122000 mikes in it. Repairs on wheels bearing, 1000.00 per wheel 700.00 shift actuator assembly. Has a random periodic 2 sec hesitation every once and awhile but goes right back to normal diving with not codes or check engine light ever on. Not fixed it pulls my 2 horse trailer loaded with 2 heavy horses with no problem..

Original Owner After Almost 12 Years
I’m updating my ‘Original Owner After 10 Years’ review below. Almost two more years on the ‘09 F150 5.4 FX4 s/crew and it’s still going basically trouble free. I just put its second set of new brake pads / rotors on along with new calipers as well, I also installed a new Cat back exhaust on it however the old exhaust was still basically fine. In the fall of ‘19 for some reason the hood heat/ noise insulator pad started deteriorating so I replaced that. I also have new Motorcraft coil packs and fuel injectors just because I think they’ll perk the 5.4 up a bit but haven’t installed them yet. I figure if I put $1000 of extra maintenance in wear parts a year into it that’s a bargain compared to a monthly new truck payment so that’s my plan with a truck in excellent condition of this age. Overall for a truck going on 12 years old that’s been paid off since 2014 I’m way ahead of the game with this F150 FX4, nice 09-14 styles are starting to thin out now now so this one draws as much or more attention as when it was new. It’s still my daily driver and looks basically like when it came off the dealers lot so I’m going to try and get another 10 years out of it just because I’m sure I probably can. I’d be pretty careful if I was buying one used now however as they’re not all in the condition that mine is. I will say that since 2009 this truck has never let me down and has never broke down once although I credit that to proper maintenance and fixing little issues before they become big problems.

Decent Pay and Drive Lot!
Couple of nice old dudes own this place. They had some good stuff for sale. Some stuff above market, some stuff at market, and a few gems below market price too. I found a nice deal on "The Boat", a 2007 Grand Marquis from them. Not perfect, but in good shape with low miles. There's a car for every budget on their lot. Probably one of the few pay-and-drive type lots left that isn't run by xxxxxx.

The Best In Texas
I have owned a 1999 and a 2006 Ford Lariat with the 4.6L the only problems I had was after 250,000 miles I had to replace the radiator and on the 99 the coil packs gave me problems but I replaced them with after market ones from 1-A Auto parts and not REM coils. In spite of the issues it takes a liking and keeps on ticking.

Insane will to live
I purchased a used 2003 f-150 supercrew short box 4x4 that had been in a roll over and has 409,694km on it all original for $1000. the body took very little damage the family that owned it sustained zero injuries and it landed upright after rolling twice (on the coqihalla highway between Merritt and Hope British Columbia Canada in 7 feet ofs snow hence not much body damage) how ever the suspension and steering system took on some life threatening injuries but after only 6 hours in the ICU with a flux core treatment and some oxy acetylene therapy he once again runs strong. He is now on the wait list for ball joint replacement surgery as his bi-weekly medical coverage was maxed out after the life saving procedures he received. Currently he is on a prescription for 6 pumps of Lucas extra tacky with anti seize directly to all four ball joints twice a week to reduce inflammation, along with half a quart of generic ATF fluid once a week due to a weak front pump seal (genetic disease runs in the 4r100 family) currently on wait list for full transmission rebuild with all forged and cyro treated internals plus pump seals made for the 7.3 power stroke (5.4 triton shares the same transmission as the 7.3 power stroke) power stroke seals are built from a stronger material and designed to handle more torque and high temperature from constant load at low speeds. Only issue I had was that the previous owner never changed the #4 and #8 spark plugs and at 400,000km they are done I removed them and cleaned with gas and stainless steelbrush and gapped them. blew out the coil packs and reinstalled with the old spark plugs. He had full power again for a 1:45 minute burnout before those antique plugs burnt out. To some this may sound like alot of issues but it only has 5 codes and are almost all due to the modifications I made the first code is no air entering the intake this is because I removed mass air flow sensor when I installed a cold air I take with a 5 inch intake hose and (huge power increase did not expect it was going for a deeper rumble at cruising speed) I bet the 2 mods I did gained 50 horse power atleast. The second code is to much air in the combustion chamber lol. That one is from the 5 inch intake pipe and large knn filter. I also removed the muffler and rerouted the pipe to exiit between rear passenger door and rear passenger tire. Sounds amazing when the arc spark plugs and I gained power and almost doubled my fuel mileage (mileage also depending on spark plugs) amazing truck I use my for work (welding) and mud racing/ deep snow offroad adventures, family camping trips everything my woman has her car and yet takes my old ugly beast to work when I'm on night. shift it's unkillable!!!

Super personable to deal with, straight up honest good
Super personable to deal with, straight up honest good or bad. No big sales push to buy a car. took 4 out on test drives, cars were priced very well do the others we looked at. we asked about a car we seen on line and they said it was sold already. they said they sell about 20 plus a month and they come and go quick so if we didnt see what we liked they could get it for us probably. we purchased a nissan sentra great car for the money with a warranty !! no hidden charges and no extra fees. the entire process took about 20 mins for paperwork and drove off with a temp tag ready to go. they been doing this for 10 plus years they say. i drive buy at least once a week with 75 always backed up so they move them. there doing my sons brakes on his car they were 1/2 the prices as goodyear !! did not know they repaird cars too. over all great experiance we will be back for our daughter.
Still running strong at 100,000 miles.😁
My 2003 Ford f150 XL standard cab, just passed its 100,000 mile mark. Never have I had a vehicle that has never given me any - I repeat - never, trouble. I've performed the necessary maintenance tasks ; oil, tires radiator flushes, brake and tranny fluid replaces and any other needs that come from wear & tear. I love this truck ! I have replaced my wife' s car three x's. Mine is still road worthy and passes emissions every year ! Whether long distances or around town, my truck has not failed me yet. From one spark plugs to air filters, bulbs and tires I know that I have saved a lot of money rather than buy another vehicle. They' re ( MFG'S ) not building them like this any more. Kudos Dearborn. Well done UAW l

This truck is comfortable inside and while driving. I love the sliding back window. I have the Lariat 5.4 I love the leather seats, and that they are heated seats! I've got the DVD player too, too haven't used it much. I CAN be my own drive in movie theater wherever I want to be! 20" wheels look great.on it. Tonneau cover added make it even better. I get tons of compliments on it. It's gorgeous, pearl white. Navigation and Sirius radio, Bluetooth connect for phone. Awesome!
