Just recently purchased a Nissan Kicks at the Independence CarMax, we had previously purchased a Nissan Sentra {about 2 weeks prior) but we found it eventually getting into the vehicle difficult for the age as I am getting older (seventies in my case) the Kicks we have now is a wonderful vehicle. Rick Gross was our salesperson. He did a wonderful job explaining every aspect of our purchase. My 5L, 2018 F150 keeps having problems with coils. Since there is one per cylinder and the cost of replacing one is quite high. This has become a problem. I love my truck, but this gives me cause to consider GMC next time.

2016 is a good yr since there is limited electronic safety features. Truck has excellent ride, is quiet and gets great gas mileage with the 2.7 liter V6. My F150 has a 36 gallon tank and I've gotten over 1000 miles per fill up.

This is the third F150 I have owned, by far the best, 60,000 miles have not had to fix anything, Did brakes and tires around 55k, limousine quiet inside, 5.0. l coyote engine has impressive power and decent mileage

I bought my 2012 F150 FX4 Ecoboost brand new in February 2012. I currently have 64k miles on it. I have never had a mechanical issue with it. Regular preventative maintenance has kept it very reliable. It has a comfortable and quiet ride for a truck. I have towed 3 different campers with it ranging from 5k-8k pounds. The Ecoboost easily handles the towing with plenty of HP and torque. Just don't expect great gas mileage while towing, 7-9mph. Without towing on the highway, I can average 19mph. For a half ton truck, I tow my 35ft camper with no concerns. It's a comfortable commuter truck too. I love my truck!

Paid off, Now the Heater doesn’t work, Left wiper arm fell off in the rain. Shifter knocks/Clunks, Otherwise reliable truck. Need heating to work please.

STX 4X4 crew cab 2.7 eco. Bought new in Sept 2018. Overall, this truck has been very reliable, albeit a few issues. I’ll list them.. 1st thing was the transmission would slam from 3rd to 4th or 5th gear. Was fixed under warranty with a software re-flash. Then the rear brakes at 30K miles. I ended up doing a brake upgrade all around. It was a huge improvement in performance.. hope they last longer. Then the wiper switch followed by the ACIM for the sync system. That’s it in 6 years. All Maintenance has been kept up with and I've had zero engine issues. I’m at 66000 miles. Comfort on long trips is great and the truck continues to track straight with ease. I replaced the worn tires at 62000 miles with larger Nitto Ridge grapplers which have definitely decreased mpg and acceleration performance but look and perform amazingly in snow. I wouldn’t hesitate on buying another.

The Salesperson Made an Amazing Car Buying Experience We went to CarMax in Independence to look for a mid-sized SUV with relatively low mileage at a reasonable price, and we found what we were looking for. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple. The salesperson, Austin Hubbard, was a pleasure to work with. We were facing a very difficult personal situation that could have easily made the car buying experience extremely challenging and stressful. I bought my '18 F150 Lariat 4x4 new in late 2018. No special options, crew cab, 5.5' bed, with the 2.7L Ecoboost and tow package. It has been over 5 years and the truck has been flawless. I've only done 40k miles, but all my trips are either very short, to get food or take the dog out, or very long, like 7 hours non-stop from Boise to Seattle, or from Idaho to Alabama to visit family during covid. I have the 36 gal tank and it's a revelation for road trips. My last truck would go a little over 300 miles per tank with a 15mpg V8. This one will do over 600 easy. The 2.7L gets 21mpg in town, where I'm fairly easy on it and it's usually unloaded, but only 23 on the hwy where the speed limit is 80, I'm not easy on it, and it's usually loaded for a trip. The interior is good overall, minus some cheap plastic, it's easy to clean and the leather seats have worn well. I love the OEM full rubber mats. The 4WD Auto mode is fantastic around town when it's snowy and cold but bad not enough for 4 hi. I love the load-flat rear floor and so does the dog. I got the tow package but it didn't come with the trailer brake, so that was disappointing to discover. Also, the halogen headlights are horrible and I replaced them with aftermarket LED bulbs, even though I like to use only OEM parts. The 10spd transmission isn't brilliant, with a rough shift here and there. My older Ram had an 8spd ZF, which was miles better. The F150 does eat up the miles on the open road though, almost as well as my wife's Audi Q5, but with a little more steering play, which makes it a little more fatiguing on long trips. It is, however, head and shoulders above any older trucks I've owned or driven and better than the 2015 Ram I had. I've carried trees, loads of dirt, motorcycles, furniture, towed cars and Uhaul trailers, and it's handled it all. Sometimes I wish I had 6.5' bed when I'm carrying 12' lumber. Sometimes I wish it was as small as my dad's Tacoma. Once in a while I wish it was a Raptor. But then I remember trying to park my Ram crew cab with 6.5' bed, or I drive the economy car-like Tacoma, and I realize that, while not perfect, it's nearly impossible to beat this truck as an all-around suburban homeowner-type vehicle, it even fits in my garage. I would absolutely buy it again and will probably keep it for several years to come.

I knew what I was going on the lot for and was hoping for a fast, easy sale. Jess Thomas (my salesman) was incredibly cordial (both on the phone and in-person), met me at the door and was ready to go. He was thorough with everything, up front with the Carfax report, and answered any of my questions. He also had the patience of a saint when my phone was acting up while I was trying to get a picture of my previous vehicle's insurance brought up. The two gentlemen named David who assisted with the buying process and signing over of the vehicle I traded in were also excellent. They didn't try to throw on a bunch of costly bells and whistles like at other places, either. If you know what you're looking for, they absolutely are willing to work with you in whatever manner they can to get the best deal for you both.

Not the truck i dreamed of but in the end my 2018 XL STX 4X4 with the 2.7 eco was a great truck. Very fast when warranted to pass in the fast lane or merge onto the freeway and just great fuel consumption really! Bought new in Sept of 2018 and recently traded it in for a brand new well equipped 2022 chip shortage leftover XLT 4X4 with the 302A and max towing package with the 3.5.... my dream truck but already i miss that fuel gauge barely moving like it did on my 2.7 STX.

I was driving by and saw a car that caught my eye. My problem was I had very little credit, having bought my previous used cars with cash. I picked both Matt and Jeff's brains as to how the whole process works, how certain things affect interest rates and odds of getting an auto loan. They spent a lot of time answering all my questions. As to the vehicle, I purchased a 2007 Acura TL Type S that was priced $2500 below NADA retail value (23% below value). I usually love the haggling process, but with a car priced almost a quarter below NADA retail value, I didn't even bother haggling. The price was MORE than fair and the car was in pristine condition. The buying process was EASY considering I'm self-employed and my taxes don't quite show all of my income, if you know what I mean. So it was a challenge for Matt to get me approved. He worked on it for an entire day, calling me to ask me for bank statements, tax returns, etc. He went to bat for me and was able to get me approved with a local credit union instead of some high interest, high risk lender. The interest rate he was able to get me was also pretty fair. Of course it's not 1.99%, but it wasn't 24% either. In fact, it was a lot closer to 1.99% than it was 24%. This was my first time dealing with them. In fact, I had never even heard of them. It was merely by chance that I was driving by and saw the car I wanted on their lot. But I would recommend them to anyone. They were personable, they were honest with me about my situation, but most of all I felt like they really cared and they really went to bat for me. Never did I feel like they were "sleazy used car salespeople" like I've felt at other lots. It felt like I was working with a friend or a neighbor.

I loved my 2012 Raptor for 12 years and had only 1 issue when front wheel drive vacuum system started going out and needed new vacuum lines when it was almost 10 years old. The only reason I traded up was the new 2024 Raptor R is just that awesome!!

I use to own a 2003 f150 for 18 years it was great except for fuel milage, when I purchased this truck in 2024 , the rear window leaks but only when it rains hard, overall I refuse to drive any other truck.

I had a fender bender with my car. I researched my options to take my car for bodywork. I was very pleased to see Rob Sight's dealership on the insurance list. I was fortunate enough to see Rob when I was out there. He took the time to look at my car and give me some very good information. I was very please with the Collision Center and the manager Randy did such a nice job of informing where they were with the car and when I would be able to pick up. He was very gracious when I talked to him. I wasn't waiting around for any calls. I would recommend anyone to take there car there. I don't think it matters what kind of car you have. Rob Sight Collision Center was listed with my insurance company as a preferred center to call. My insurance company hit the nail on the head, so to speak.

I was searching for a specific vehicle and I found a few on cars.com. 2020 F-150 Super Cab 2.7L Ecoboost, 10 speed transmission. At first I was concerned since I've never had a truck with a small V6. I was looking for good HP and good MPG. I liked the sporty trim STX look. Great acceleration and great MPG. Much better than my previous 2006 F-150 5.4L, which was a great truck, but it was time for a change. I do recommend this vehicle if you want MPG, power, and great towing capacity.

I have owned a 2016 f150 since July 1 2016. Bought it new and it now has 92000 miles and drives and handles and looks as good as it did new. Id rate it a7on a 1-5 scale!!!

Finally found a place to buy a good truck without the pricing gouging going on right now. Easy transaction without any fuss about getting the truck inspected and a straightforward negotiation. The owner was almost too trusting - a sign he isn’t cheating so he doesn’t expect other people to be cheating either.

This is a great truck. Good acceleration, towing, and four-wheel drive. I am definitely a Ford lover now. Can't go wrong with this truck. Mine is a 5.0L and can't find a fault with it after four years of ownership.

We have now purchased two vehicles from Fountain city motors. We also referred a friend to them and they bought a vehicle from them. There are not enough good words to say about this company. From the minute you walk in the door, you are greeted and treated with the upmost respect and kindness. The reason that we purchased our second car from them a couple of days ago is because of our first experience with them about a year and a half ago, we were sold a car that was well worth what we paid for it and it's very mechanically sound. We went into the dealership, knowing exactly what we wanted and exactly how much we had to spend. Not once did they try to move us into another financial decision other than the one we had already made. They showed us cars that were in the in our price range of excellent quality and the mileage on them was amazing. I truly believe that these Cars are chosen with care in thinking about people they'll be selling them too. The salesman that we had experienced dealing With were Eric and Travis both we outstanding in listening to our needs. , Even if you don't live in the Harrisonville area, it is well worth the drive to see their inventory and work with these two gentlemen. I truly can't see myself ever buying a car from anybody else, but Fountain city motors.

Very dependable, Very useful, and Very Fun to own. This truck is at 206,000 miles and everything still works as the day I bought it. I could not express how much I love it. It has the 3.5 ecoboost twin turbo engine and the fx4 luxury package it eats dodges and craps on chevy. Please note that if you currently have the 3.5 Eco boost or 2.7 Eco boost to change oil every 3 to 4k due to the high temp your oil gets because you have turbos the 5.0 v8 doesn't have turbos btw

I have had many new vehicles and because of this one I probably won't buy another. This truck (F150 FX4 ) Is the best ever. Drives great, tows perfect and has been very reliable. I bought it as a demo in 2006 and have done a small handful of repairs in that time. 16 years-wow!
