A little choppy on dirt roads, feel the uneven paved road surfaces. I attribute this to the 4X4 suspension. Excellent payload , 1865 lbs.for the non-turbo 3.3 liter which has been stellar performer in 35K miles. I average 24mpg all weather. Very good drive modes, sport kicks it up to V8 feel, shift on the fly seamless. Handles great with loads 1000 lbs. plus. Hot riding vinyl seats are sport like hugging you, difficult to turn around to look out the back window. I don't rely solely on back up camera because it does hide the corners where pedestrians are. Confining driving position barely allows for my 6 foot frame. Seats belong in a sports car, not a truck! I should have got the cloth seats! The cab lacks much space behind seats for a small cooler of water or duffel bag. The transmission was clunky in the first 4 months. I think it was the computer adjusting for driving habits. The 12" touch screen has many features and can be turned off. Integrated phone is easy set up, Personal music can be played or built in music apps. The maps are great showing satellite view and North South configuration based on direction view. Service often freezes when you get in valleys. The worst feature is vehicle manual on computer, takes 10x longer to find what you are looking for. Ask Ford to order a printed booklet! The instrument panel is well laid out however the steering wheel sometimes obstructs information. The tilt, telescope wheel is perfect for shorter drivers. There are many cluster views to choose from and two trip odometers, a big plus. I choose one layout for all driving. Took a long time to get used to where radio controls are as I was always turning down the blower motor switch. Blower motor has 8 speeds and whisper quiet up to 5. Also has an ac booster for quick cab cooling, heat, nice! The stereo has equalizer, 4 speakers and will blow out your ear drums unless you have deafness. I find the adjustments for instrument brightness, headlights, fog, and bed lights to be very awkward, An afterthought by Ford engineers? Placed at lower left below segregated instrument layout. Needs to be easily visible, not hidden from view and adjustment. The high beams light up the next county and 50 feet up the treeline. Not sure I need to see owls in the trees, but I can. The flash to pass feature needs to be more blinks, changing lanes that fast is dangerous. The windshield is large and raked offering a full road view and pillars don't obstruct the roadway. The rear view camera can be used while driving and shows tailgaters. The rear window has defrost, tint. The tint is great but defrost is imo a dumb idea. Window easily defrosts with heat or defogs with ac. This isn't a car! I chose Ford over competition because my last F150 gave me 400K, never left me stranded, had a great V6, super good tranny and decent fuel mileage. I like the payload, handling, maps and my music from my apps. I like the aluminum clad where my last steel truck started rusting everywhere. The weight is nimble feel while driving, almost sporty on twisty roadways with very good acceleration and quicker stopping. The cost of ownership is less than foreign and many domestic. I have no recalls in 2 years. I drive in snow often, the handling and my confidence level are excellent but I still have weight in the bed for traction since this is 700 lbs. lighter than my 2013. Overall, I like this vehicle very much and look forward to a new one, better designed or upgraded 2028.

My battery died on 410 and Evers shopping center parking lot. AAA came and jumped and gave me a printout and said it was the battery. I had already called Josh Hammond and Jose Rico and said I would be coming. When I arrived they took my car and I had a new battery in less then 45 minutes. The whole experience only took less then 3 hrs and than included an hour wait for AAA. My sister and I were on our way quickly.

Overall, I love my 2024 STX 4x4 Supercrew. It's comfortable, reliable, and gets great gas mileage with the 2.7 ecoboost. I had one small repair done under warranty that took less than 3 hours and I have over 13k miles on it. My only mild complaints are that the ride could be more forgiving over bumpy pavement and that the turning radius was better.

Bought this truck new. I’ve put 3500 miles on it and it rides really comfortably. I went from an AT4 with dead lifters to this. I love this truck and I have not towed with it but the max I’m towing is 6,000 so that should not be an issue.

I had just an amazing and great experience at the Ford dealership. I do recommend you give them a chance before driving so far for disappointments. I went to a total of 3 other dealerships. But our local dealership had more vehicles to choose from and better and upgraded items I wanted on my truck then any other dealerships I went to. I was so disappointed in the other places. We had a great experience. We had been in the market for a used car. We had been looking and looking for months. We ran into a 2009 Ford Mustang that my kiddo absolutely loved. I called and spoke to David (owner) after talking for a few minutes I told him I lived 2 hours away. He said to call him before I came out to make sure the vehicle was there and it wasn't a wasted trip. I did just that and he told me that he would give me a verbal hold with no obligation to buy. We show up and the car is just as pretty as the pictures. We test drove it and the wheel bearing need to be replaced because of a little noise that we heard. They took care of that in no time. It was a hot day and he sent someone out to get us water. He told me everything I needed to know about the car. He also gave us a 3 month in shop warranty. Needless to say at the end we purchased the car. He filled up the gas tank and sent us on our way. I in no way felt pressured to buy this car. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely go back to this car lot. I forgot to add he went outside with my daughter to show her the extras the car had. They (David and his wife) gave her a little flashlight to carry on her key chain. I walked away not only a happy customer but a happy customer with a fancy pen they gave me lol. Living in Galveston, TX, I had done a lot of research on the best deals in Houston and nearby cities, and I quickly realized that no one offers deals quite like Cavender. They not only beat the competition on the price of a new truck by a significant margin but also gave me a fair trade-in value for my vehicle. Overall, my experience was somewhat mixed. On the positive side, if you’re looking for an unbeatable deal on a truck, this is definitely the place to go. The sales team, especially Michael McClinton, Noe Aguilera, and JR Ortega, worked closely with me and were instrumental in helping me secure the beautiful truck I had my eye on. They took the time to understand my needs and preferences, making me feel like they were genuinely trying to get me the best truck for the best price. Their approach was knowledgeable, friendly, and refreshingly low-pressure, making the entire buying process smooth. However, the dealership fell short when it came to management and after-sales service. Unfortunately, the management team did not uphold the same level of customer service as the sales staff. I encountered a few issues after the purchase, and their response was much less helpful and timely than I had anticipated. It felt like their interest in assisting me dropped off significantly once the sale was complete. Some promises made during the sale weren’t fully honored afterward, which was disappointing. After taking delivery of the truck and returning home, I noticed one of the hubcaps was missing. I contacted the dealership the next morning and provided a photo I had taken while at their location to prove that the hubcap was already missing before I left. Although the sales team was eager to assist, they were unable to get any answers from upper management. Fortunately, I had the picture as proof, so it should have been easy for them to send me a replacement. However, it took nearly a month of countless phone calls, text messages, and even speaking with a manager named Manny, who rushed through our conversation and falsely promised to overnight the missing part, before I finally received it. I bought a brand-new truck, but after noticing the missing part, it felt like I was driving an old truck, and it took away the excitement of having a new vehicle. Management or ownership didn’t acknowledge the issue as significant, nor did they make any effort to address it. They didn’t offer an apology or attempt to make up for the disappointment I felt about losing the excitement of my new truck. In summary, Cavender Ford is an excellent choice if you're after a great deal and a positive buying experience. However, be cautious about after-sales support, management and ownership and make sure to get everything in writing before leaving the dealership, as their management and ownership could definitely improve in this area.

I am super pleased with my truck. I went from a Nissan Frontier SV, which was the best truck I had ever purchased new (built like a tank but way more reliable) to a first time Ford buyer. I had never bought a ford due to feeling they were over priced. Be that as it may I was never going to buy another GM product. So it was either another Nissan or a Ford. I went with the F150 because of the gas mileage. I have already put 10k miles on it and am super pleased with the fuel efficiency. I think I now see why they are priced a little more than the competition.

Great truck, I have no issues with this truck. Occasionally the Snyc screen freezes up. Acceleration is excellent. Highway MPG is 23 Local is around 12 mpg. Mixed City Highway is 15 mpg

I bought my XL extended cab long bed in 2004 @54,000 miles. 2024 only 104,000 miles so far. Runs great smog test was great. Having a long bed really helps when working around the house. Only issues are the pull cables for the extra side door. Going to replace that including brake and hood cables. Other then that the Best truck iv'e ever owned 🇺🇸👍

2016 is a good yr since there is limited electronic safety features. Truck has excellent ride, is quiet and gets great gas mileage with the 2.7 liter V6. My F150 has a 36 gallon tank and I've gotten over 1000 miles per fill up.

I have 2 F150s. A 2013 with 286,000 miles and a 2017 with 152,000 miles. They both run perfect and they are very impressive vehicles. I owned a 1500 Z71 prior and that was basically junk.

Mac Haik Southway Ford. This is the first time I have dealt with this dealership. I had a young salesman that approached me by the name of Issac Flores. I immediately told him I was not in the market for a vehicle, but I just wanted to look around to see what was available in their F150 XLT with an Ecoboost engine. He invited me inside the dealership and retrieve some keys to show me a few F150 that I wanted to see. After looking at several F150?s. Mr. Flores asked if I would like to take a test drive on one of the F150?s we looked at. I selected one of the Trucks to test drive. While on a test Drive, Mr. Issac Flores was very familiar with all of the instruments and technical aspects of the vehicle. He was kind enough to explain in detail what this vehicle had to offer and what all the improvements this Truck has compared to my 2011 F150XLT. Issac Flores was not a high pressure salesman. He was very patient and knew his vehicle?s. He was a true professional. Not once did he try to pressure me into purchasing any of the vehicles we looked at. His main concern was to look at a vehicle that I want. And to make sure I get what I want in a vehicle and price that I thought was fair. All the negotiating was done between me and Mr. Flores. There were no going back and forth to a sales manager. Or anyone else like the other dealership do. No playing game?s negotiating. Again No pressure sales.This dealership made me feel Like I was home. They were all welcoming and made you feel like part of the family. After negotiations, I decided to purchase the F150 that I test drove. The price was right and I couldn?t pass up a great deal. The only reason I purchased the vehicle was because of Mr. Issac Flores. 2022 F150 PowerBoost 3.5 twin turbo absolutely hauls xxx with phenomenal gas mileage on a 30 gallon tank. I’ve gotten a true 600 and 700 miles out of a tank of gas when it’s in Eco mode it will run on battery alone if you’re on flat level ground and maintain your speed that’s how they obtain so many miles out of a tank full of gas probably one of the best F1 50s I’ve owned and I’ve had several of them. If you leave it in tow Haul mode it will disengage the auto stop start so the vehicle remains on. It’s been absolutely bullet proof with zero issues. If I’m not driving the Dually Diesel F350 I’m driving this..

My 2022 STX 4x4 is totally awesome. Most importantly it’s 100% American. The 5.0 engine puts out plenty of power and pulls great . I put a 3 inch lift on the front and a 2 1/2 inch lift on the rear . I’m riding on 2022 35” inch tires and 18” raptor wheels . Also have an exhaust system with a large cold air intake system and passenger side oil catch can . All work was done at mall of ga ford . Now I have 15475 miles and just had my fourth oil change and service from mall of ga ford they completely take care of my truck .

I was searching for a specific vehicle and I found a few on cars.com. 2020 F-150 Super Cab 2.7L Ecoboost, 10 speed transmission. At first I was concerned since I've never had a truck with a small V6. I was looking for good HP and good MPG. I liked the sporty trim STX look. Great acceleration and great MPG. Much better than my previous 2006 F-150 5.4L, which was a great truck, but it was time for a change. I do recommend this vehicle if you want MPG, power, and great towing capacity.

Had the truck a few months and have had more compliments than any vehicle I’ve ever driven. Just a sharp vehicle inside and out. Love the 2.7 engine and the leather interior and all the space both front and back.

First off, when someone says the truck drives and rides horrible, did they not know we are entitled to test drive the truck first before purchasing. I love my 2023 Ford F150 XLT crew/camper package 6.5' box so far. Put about 5000 miles on it. Purchased used with low mileage. It has all the bells and whistles except for leather seats. Rides great, quiet, and more technology than I'll probably ever use. Endless supply of power with the 3.5 engine and all around mileage about 18-20 and 22-23 on the highway. I liked my 2012 Lariat but mileage was 14.5 all around. I test drove a Dodge and Chevy, but I like the feel of the Ford truck with Dodge a very close second. Chevy feels like the frame is weak and flexes over bumps.

I bought this truck used from Long-Lewis in Hoover, Alabama, in July 2025. I like the performance, gas mileage, and drive modes of the 3.5 Liter Twin Turbo with 10 Speed transmission. Lots of interior space, lots of interior and exterior lighting in the right places.
