My vehicle will be paid off soon. It seems problematic situationa are starting. I read about recalls for 2017 ford focus. I've received NO letters from Ford yet. There are several recalls for make. Model and year 2017.

My 2010 consistently gets 46mpg on the highway, 2.0 with automatic. Bought new, only run Mobile1 full synthetic 5w30. Great little car, should last 300k easy!

I bought my 2002 Ford Focus stationwagon 9 months ago with 180,000km for 1400 CAD. It has the 2.0 Zetec engine and the 5 speed manual transmission mated to it. Currently sitting at 215,000km and it is still running strong. Comfort-wise it's great. I made a 11 hour drive in one day and was not even sore, the amount of headroom, especially in the wagon, is great aswell. Interior design, is alright, it's quirky. Lots of curves, definetly shows its age but everything works great and is easy to operate. Performance wise, its alright. Definetly not a race car by any means, but it is fast enough. The value for money on one of these used is amazing - if you are somewhat mechanically inclined and can do basic repairs and maintenence. Exterior styling is good, its a very interesting looking car. Since I got it 35,000km ago heres what I've done for repairs: Valve cover gasket, motor mounts, hatch struts. I've done a ton of maintenence, all the reccomended stuff for this mileage, but those are the only things I've had to repair. It is currently leaking a bit of oil but on a 1400$ car it doesn't really bother me, doesnt even leak enough to get even halfway down the dipstick between oil changes. It hasn't ever left me stranded.

Sebastian was amazing and so friendly to talk to, we visited a few other dealerships and came across this one , we met a few nice people while there but me and my husband wanted to see the whole lot ourselves , I guess you can say old fashion since we can look online to look into the vehicle instead. This car is exactly what i needed when i limped my old ponitac into the dealer. Unlike my previous car this one is great on gas. It handles smoothly in my opinion. THe only downside i can think of is the trunk is small. even with the seats down in the sedan like i got.

Purchased a used 2018 with 35K miles in 2023. I now have 75K miles as it's a commuter car, about 90 miles a day. I average almost 41 mpg going from Pueblo to Colorado Springs and back. The CVT was a bit suspect when I first got it, but I think the driving has corrected the 3rd gear delay. The CVT is hands down better than my Altima. One year that car was gone, total junk.

My friend needed to sell the car after her husband passed away where the loan had a higher balance than the value of the car. I've had my 2016 Focus SE for 9 years this year & will drive it until one of us dies. I've never had a problem with it. It gets great gas mileage, is comfortable & roomy. I've hauled many things that others thought wouldn't fit but with the back seats folded down ...no problem. I would recommend a Focus to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle.

Just purchased for a replacement to a 300,000 mile escape, it’s the sel model so creature comforts are few but for the price it is optioned pretty well, the 4 cylinder was averaging 37 mpg on my 2 hour drive home with plenty of power, plenty of room inside do a small car for 2 people and maybe smaller kids in the back seat but it is a smooth ride for the small package. I will use it as a work vehicle to commute the 3 to 4 hours each way to work

I've only owned this car for a couple of weeks, but I love it! Right from the start, I felt very comfortable driving it (a lot of cars take a while to "fit"). My only complaint is that the hatch area is small, but then this car is a lot smaller than what I usually drive. I just have to get used to that. I love that it has automatic lights & high beams, GPS navigation, a backup camera and a way to sync my phone easily.
