Great little truck. The look, feel and performance is amazing. The gas mileage is outstanding. All of the equipment inside is very well designed and looks nice.

After many decades of driving all types of cars and pickups I have rediscovered having fun driving. Since my 64 Impala I look forward to getting in my Maverick Lobo and driving somewhere. I have been getting comments from strangers on how nice it looks. Also the performance is much different than i expected.

Everything was faster than my previous experiences in other dealerships, the staff is very friendly and especially Ricardo Martínez frijolito who had a lot of patience with me at all times and also the attention I received from Ryan Fisher was very special and professional., very satisfied with them, also thank Felician Gobert for his help, really thank you all.

I had a lovely, thorough review, but Cars.com isn't interested me in being thorough, probably why they are asking for a review after only three weeks with the car. So instead I'll say that it has had an issue with not working with the FordPass app the way it is supposed to - no huge surprise, Ford has led the industry in recalls and other QC issues for several years now. I like the truck generally and feel it was a decent value, but not a steal. It meets my needs. I work a lot of hours and a single mom so my time is limited, so he brought me the truck I wanted to see and drove mine to get appraised. I received what I wanted for my trade in and got a great deal on a new Ford Ranger Lariat. By time I was ready to purchase I only had to walk in and sign the papers! The kindness and knowledge and down right common decency and a acknowledgment for my time was mind blowing! I will never buy another vehicle from anywhere else but Leif Johnson Ford In Austin!! We are from Wisconsin and had towed our travel trailer down to Texas for our son's wedding. We were on our way home and stopped in Austin for a planned one night stay. That's when our Ford F150 had mechanical issues. We took it into Riata Ford and I am so happy we did. Service advisor Jon was terrific. I told Jon I was under a time deadline to return to Wisconsin for a scheduled shoulder surgery. When I explained my situation to Jon, he wasted no time in getting us back on the road in time to get back for my surgery. What otherwise may have taken a week, they did in two days! The repairs were professionally done and their customer service was outstanding. If Riata Ford was in my home town in Wisconsin, I would be a lifelong customer. Thanks Jon!

Family has purchased at least 10 vehicles from Mr. Felician Gobert, or used his reference for purchasing from the 71 Ford store for over two decades. Every vehicle (New or preowned) we have purchased has run really well, and required little to no maintenance. Carry on!

I normally don’t write reviews but my family had such a great experience here that I feel I needed to tell everyone about it. We were shopping for a new Maverick truck in San Antonio (Northside Ford) area, they were advertising it as 36,000 but of course as we sat down somehow the price was hike up to 48,000 with taxes and etc….. and we went ahead and walk away discouraged. A friend suggested we give Leif a call because of a previous great experience he had, and sure enough after traveling over a 100 miles to get to Austin we bought the exact same truck $10,000 less! In my opinion well worth the extra drive, and not once did I feel we were getting ripped off!

They did agreat job the service person was very friendly and informative. Now I do have a problem with the sales manager and husband sales people I'm finding out things they didn't disclose about my truck i bought hopefully I have no problem with the truck so when or if you're thinking about buying a vehicle especially a used one clarify all information as i did get a carfax but there was some information I didn't receive until I got my truck back from the 10,000 mile secudle service. I'm possibly going to buy a different truck in 2026 but probably somewhere else thanks for reading my evaluation oh but the service was great.
