Used 1991 Ford Mustang for sale near Surprise, AZ

I had a question about the cars color because two different colors were given in the description. The dealer answered promptly and even gave me a follow up response.

This car was my first car and probably would be my coolest car I would ever own. I love the looks i get when driving it around or just showing it off.

I flew all the way from Atlanta to California to pick up my classic Mustang. On the way back I drove through Phoenix Arizona to visit my Mom, "after all, I didn't know when I would see her again and she was a real fan of ZZTop, then off through Cherokee country, and we bonded through many hours of open road. I felt so free to put the top down and cruise easily at 80 or even 90 mph as the 302 just purred the song of a true Mustang. I've been driving this legend every day now get for reasons behind control we have to part. Oh and b.t.w. That was the last time I saw my Momma.

The 87-93 Mustang 5.0 cars are simply the best Mustangs ever built. They came at a time where cars were still mostly made 100% USA parts, simple but built to last and enjoy. Sure you might need to fix a few things here and there on these cars, but the pure simplicity of these cars are what makes them so great. A true testament to the ?sleeper car?, looks like something your grandfather would drive, but can rip the tires off with a few mods and little effort. There?s no better sounding vehicle than a 5.0 302 rolling down the street with a nice set of flowmasters. Fox body mustangs also age nicely if you are able to preserve one well enough, nicks and scratches just give the original boxy foxy nice patina. There will never be another car made as nice and simply that?ll always make you smile like a classic 5.0 Mustang will.

Here is a review of my start to finish process of buying a car from Gateway Classic Cars, Ft. Lauderdale: ----- 1. The sales people who you work with are not on site. They're working remote so they don't have eyes on the car. ---- So, 2. You'll want to be connected with someone on site who can start and drive the car, provide a walkaround video, pictures of whatever you want and give their input. I worked with Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location for my purchase and he was outstanding with helping me to know the car before making an offer. He is the reason that this is a 5 star review. -------- 3. Hauling: They'll get you a quote for hauling the vehicle. I chose Nexus Transport myself to use. They were a bit cheaper and top rated by Forbes. That went just fine. --------- 4. These cars are all on consignment. So, I feel that you have to be a little more careful because you have another party who may not have disclosed things to Gateway. Best practice is to get a pre-buy done from someone like Lemon Squad. That being said, I was so comfortable with my deal, took the risk and waived the pre-buy. And in my case, the Prowler is a mint gem and I have no concerns after receiving it. Also, there is a common thought then you buy a car like this, you should budget 10% or so of the price for maintenance right after you get the car because stuff always comes up, otherwise, don't buy a used car. --------5. Since they're on consignment, they have commissions they charge the seller. As a buyer, I don't care if I see a commissions line on the purchase agreement. As long as my out the door number was what I offered, that's fine. --------6. I wired money to them and within a few hours, I had all the fully executed paperwork back in my hands. Title took about 3 weeks to receive by UPS. And the folder had everything I needed to register the car in my state. Wow! Thank you Barbara! ------ 7. So here is what breeds loyalty. Alex at the Ft. Lauderdale location made sure the car was completely ready to be picked up including accessories that were bubble wrapped. The car was supposed to be picked up at Noon on Saturday, plenty of time before they closed at 5pm. He stayed until the truck arrived...very late....AT 1:30am Sunday morning!!!! (Otherwise, it would have sat until Tuesday). I cannot believe he did that for me. I received my car loading video at 2am. That's unbelievable service that deserves more than 5 stars. ------- Summary: I'd have zero issues with buying from Gateway again....they just operate in a different dealership style than what I'm used to, which is just fine.

Very enjoyable car! Fun even though its getting older is still very fun to drive! Its so much a great car we have 2! One for me and one for my Wife! Its does not have a sedan look to it at all! Unlike other cars in its price range. Does not look like a car that performance was thought of after the body was made. Looks live performance was in the design from the wheels up!

Very professional and patient with my schedule, and always disciplined in following up with my inquiries in a timely fashion.

These cars do not lean in the corner at all. Fun! Fun! Fun! Rock solid construction. Double the corner speed sign always! The drive train is solid. Interior is pretty good especially in leather. Runs like a champ after 200,000 miles.

I looked and looked went to 4 dealerships, and stayed in my backyard in Manteca. I went to Manteca Ford 1st, I was ready to buy BUT you know now it is. You just have to look to see if your getting a fair deal. I wasted 2 days then went back and purchased my truck at Manteca Ford. One thing I did get a little bit cheaper price at another dealer. BUT I did not like the hassle and the way I was treated. I just didn't want to give them my hard earned money. Yes I recommend Manteca Ford
