i have 2005 taurus very good car dependable , only thing u have to be gentle with is the transmission , i went to install a rear hitch . they won t they say the transmission is built for towing , other wise no other problem to speak off

Had this car for 230k miles with transmission rebuilt at 130k miles, starter replaced at 200k Generally dependable car with not many issues beyond typical consumables (oil, filter, tires).

He also gave me great advice on what to do with the vehicle in terms of restoration work that would save me money and time in the long run, while still making sure I would get the best work done on the vehicle. Overall, A good value. Fairly Dependable V6..A few issues would make it a much more dependable car. Starter catches oil drips, ruining the starter. Speedometer needle fell off. Odometer light goes out periodically, paint fading on roof and hood.. Small issues take away from the Taurus overall.

I bought 2011 Honda Pilot EX in 2016 from East Coast Auto Source. It had bullet holes in the body and some shot out windows. I repaired the bullet holes, and had the other repairs completed. Car ran well and it needed some other work. Nine years later, we have 211,000 more miles on the Pilot. It was a good price and East Coast Auto Source was upfront and honest about the repairs and had the car shipped to my mechanic. I would bought another car in 2024 from them and I am happy with the deal.

Very Clean inside. The Car has very low mileage. Everything was in good working order. Powerful heat and air conditioning. Great value for basic transportation

Was a previous rental. Owned it almost 10 years, never had a problem. Good power, comfortable, lots of room. Be aware these tend to have transmission issues, but this one didn't. Change fluids often, and you should have no problems for many more years.

The customer service was pretty good, and the prices were fair. They were willing to negotiate. If I wanted to view a car someone would escort me or at least point me in the right direction

2013 Taurus bought with 18,000 as a "dealer car". Now has 220,000 miles and have replaced nothing but shocks, brakes, battery, wipers, tires. Original alternator, water pump, air cond, steering, trans, engine - NO major expenses whatever.. Would run over 10,000+ miles with no need to add oil if you chose to do such a thing. Starts, runs, drives extremely well. Wife isn't scared to drive on 200 mile trips alone. Suspension is a little loose but what do you expect! This car has provided , and continues to provide outstanding performance.

Did everything well. Mine was ex-rental vehicle. No ABS or DVD player. Decided to upgrade in 2013. Main problem was very low trade-in value as a discontinued model.

Obviously no used car is going to be perfect, nor was I expecting it to be. They told me to come back the next day and the issues would be fixed. I came back and they did in fact fix the car. Bought the 2000 SE Flex Fuel model from a family friend in 2023 for $500. Previously owned by their grandma who only put 88k miles on it. So far only needed a new battery and starter. Great for my 45 minute drive to work.

I have a 2007 Taurus with almost 200,000 miles on it and it runs great. It fits the needs of an old guy like myself. It"s easy to drive, has power, and it very comfortable.

Bullet proof engine, parts are cheap as dirt, labor is cheap, very reliable and starts up every time you need to go. I always carry OBD2 scanner. If any check engine codes pop up I scan myself and know what sensor or part to buy. So far just new EGR valve I installed and Thermostat as well based on codes I recently fixed. Reliability always depends on maintenance. With fresh engine and ATF oil change , spark plugs, air filter, new brake pads and machined rotors, she drives smooth as silk. I highly recommend this car. 147K and drives like new.
